Baltimore Washington Medical Center Review

No urgency in Emergency room. Severe cut hasn t been cleaned or treated. Currently on hour 4 of waiting. Unless an ambulance brings me here, this is the last time I ll be here.

The waiting time in the ER is absolutely ridiculous. Came into the ER a little before 8p and I'm still waiting 3 and a half hours later. Should have stuck with my gut feeling and took the 30 minute ride to Anrundel Medical Center.

It is the worst service there is, there are no nurses for more than an hour waiting for the doctor to discharge me and the nurse does not come to remove the tea and give the sign papers

Cero starts, worst places ever I was with my 11 months baby with a very bad congestion with problems to breath.. Please don't come here to this place save your time and go where they can provide good service ..#I will never come back to this place

Poor communication and poor management of patients... Maybe hire some consulting firm to teach you how to improve wait times and communication with patients. Can hardly breath due to a swollen throat, yet im sitting here at hour 4 still waiting to get my blood work done. Ridiculous.

Dont go here for emergency care. You'll likely incurr more medical problems dealing with the staff or get a rare case of osteoporosis during the 5+ hours youll have to wait to be seen. Maybe thats their gameplan for business, I dont know. Good for them. Bad for you.

Worst hospital for patients with real medical issues. This place is worth bandaids and peroxide fixes.

Took my son there with a broken foot. They took great care of him. The reason for the extra high rating is that when I forgot to take his x-ray and chart out of the chair, I called them. They ran out grabbed them, and put them aside for me. A Special thanks to Teresa in Radiology for taking the extra time and doing more then simply transferring the call.

Great job, Pleasant staff Doctors, Nurses, Interns and techs,everyone was wonderful and professional

Just because a zero was not available on the star selection. Cousin went there since he was recovering from stents they put in him and seemed to have caught a cold. By the second time he was sort of close to death, no joke, really sick. They said it was a sinus infection and gave him some antibiotics to take home again. For the third time he was taken by his brother , they finally did a spinal tap, discovering he has spinal meningitis. Your hospital is a joke. Your employees and doctors are murderers. You should be closed. I am sure patients are walking out of this hospital with surgical instruments. Left inside of them .

This place is horrible my husband came in the ER with severe back Pain we arrived at 1:20am and it is now 7:15am
We waited in the waiting area until 6am came back to a room and we are still waiting. Not one Nurse or Doctor has come by to say anything. I will not come here ever again. Not to mention they are very rude. If I could have given them no star I would have.

Yes we post our comments here. Take ACTION contact the patient ADVOCATE ON STAFF. Make your voices really HEARD.

My daughter went here after a terrible experience elsewhere and the entire staff was WONDERFUL! They took care excellent of her and gave equal attention to her unborn baby, even though she was there for a non-ob issue. Every doctor she saw was thorough, caring and took the time to explain things. Her nurses gave her lots of TLC and responded quickly to every call for assistance. Highly recommend if you have Kaiser insurance!

If I could give this place no stars I would. This is the worst hospital you could go to. This was the closest hospital near by so I brought my husband here. When we were in the er the triage staff most definitely didn t know what they were doing. While getting his blood drawn they had a hard time finding a vein so they left the tourniquet on his arm for nearly 5 mins his arm was completely purple and his arm was shaking a bit and the nurse was very nasty telling him to keep his arm still. He told them that it was hurting him and she just totally ignored him. So he ended up needing to get surgery which the surgeon and or staff were great besides being a little slow but that s understandable. Then after surgery he had to stay in a room and the staff on the 5th floor were awful! Very rude and he would ask for assistance and no one would come. After calling for a nurse and no response for over an hour I went out to see what was going on. There were nurses just standing around talking. So I asked for help and they said they had the call and someone would be in soon. After another 45 mins he called again just to see what was going on and they hung up the phone on him. He was just asking for a cup of ice and you re telling me not one of the nurses standing around could do that? This place is awful next time we ll just have to take the extra time to go to another hospital.
