Staff went out of way to make daughter's prom was great...we booked at wrong hotel... they provided transportation to correct location...
Nice hotel, decent area, good food at the restaurant downstairs, friendly staff. Fine overall,, and being close to the beautiful Camden Yard is a plus.
Horrible changed rooms twice ,room 1 no picture on tv but the sound was fine and it smelled wet room 2 mold it's now 140 am I'm out
The majority of the staff were rude. The rooms were small. The lobby is very pretty. Hotel is convenient to the convention center center. The walls are thin and you can hear everything in the hallways.
Surprisingly good hotel minutes from the harbor and the ballpark. We were there for a weekend real estate conference. Not much time to play, but we enjoyed the lobby bar and the self serve beer and wine wall. The conference facilities were good and our rooms were clean. The only negative was a busy fire station across the street to the north east. I always travel with ear plugs, but light sleepers would probably have a hard time. The higher the room number (I was in 470) the closer to the fire station.
Attended the Interview Harbor for a work function. The banquet room was very clean and the staff was accommodating, particularly when we encountered an issue with the food.
Horrible... don t stay., car was broken into. Hotel zero help!! Someone in our room without permission! Zero stars
Great hotel in a great location. Very friendly staff and updated rooms. I highly recommend.
Stayed 2 nights in Oct 2018. clean. quiet. a block from the shock trauma center. a good place to stay if you are in Baltimore to visit the trauma center or to see the Orioles. the Orioles stadium is a a couple blocks away.
Very welcoming and friendly staff at check in, great location with slight view of ballpark. Would definitely stay again.
This was a terrible experience. The lobby was packed with a large group from a prom. The only staff assisting guests were the front desk. I used the parking which was $35. Lastly, getting into the lobby from the garage was'nt direct and when I asked for assistance, the security guard ignored me while she was on her phone. Horrible!
The room was spotless. The location is great. 4 stars because someone dropped the ball and put 3-4 hospitality rooms for a group on the quiet floor. They did move me to a quieter location in the hotel to correct the problem.
The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff was very polite, despite all the massive crowds of colorful and striking personas traipsing about at all hours. (Myself included)
Rooms were clean, staff friendly and courteous, and hotel quiet. Only complaint is that even with the high speed internet, WiFi was a little slow for working remotely and they don't have Ethernet cables/ports in the rooms as I've seen some other hotels. I didn't see the gym, but peaked in and it was quite large
Great service and friendly staff, the rooms are a little outdated including door handles you have to jiggle.
Beautiful place to stay and close to our wonderful Inner Harbor
Went there for dinner and was not disappointed. The food was delicious, the proportions were generous, and the staff was friendly. Meals can be pricey, but it is an excellent place for a date before or after an O's game.
Great stay, only thing I was sad about was the lack of a hot tub and pool. Otherwise a great hotel. The restaurants inside the hotel are great.
I would give it 0 stars if possible. It all started with a 40 minute check in line just to be told my room wasn t ready. With having tickets to the Ravens game I dropped my bag with the bellman and went to the game with the promise I would be called when the room was ready. After the game I returned (without ever getting a call) to be told by Genice that the hotel was sold out but they had a room at another hotel. I asked how that was the case since I had booked the Marriott and checked in? Her answer was I don t know . I reiterated my displeasure and asked for a manager to rectify the situation to which I was told there was no manager. Finally, after she called a manager I got my room after another half hour of time wasted. Even when she returned there was no smile, no glad we could work this out, nothing. It was license and method of payment . To top it off it cost $50 to park in their garage because it was a Ravens game day. Terrible service and terrible value.
I can t emphasize enough, how much I appreciate the phenomenal professionalism and genuine kindness exuded from a fine gentleman named Trai! He deserves an applaud for his amazing charm and solid knowledge of the hotel. Thank you for making my experience feel like a home away from home.
I'm giving this place 4 stars although there are a few downsides that I'm going to start with. The lady I experienced at the front desk wouldn't let us check in underneath a family members name who wasn't present which was annoying considering it was 1 am and we were super tired even though we provided ID and were clearly relatives. The lobby is kinda loud and there is a little noise from the city and the people on our floor. However, the rooms are extremely clean and the location is great. For the prices, you can't really beat a place like this close to the harbor. Overall, it was a pleasant experience for us at the Marriott.
Service and rooms are fantastic. The bathrooms are a bit small but not much you can do there, so it doesn't affect my score. It's within reasonable walking distance of downtown and other important parts of the city.
I only visited for about an hour and in that time there was comfortable seating and free wifi with easily accessable sockets for my tablets charger.
Nice hotel. Great for business trip or personal leisure!
I was there for a seminar. When i asked where it was being held they had no idea what i was talking about. After some chatting they determined that it was at a different Marriott. They then gave me the address for a DIFFERENT wrong Marriott. I was nearly an hour late by the time we got to the right place.
I love the harbor , lots to do great food and attractions
Screw this place they give your phone number away and you get constant calls for marriot offers with no regard that your a traveler and change time zones. I have gotten them for 5a.m. to 10p.m.
Rated three stars, it feels more like four star. Friendly staff, great, albeit smaller sized room. Great for a business stay. Everything in it that one needs. WiFi available freely. Quiet. Food options on site. Centrally located. Close to BWI. About 40 min from DCA.
I use there establishment parking area for a local baseball game. It was ver easy to enter and exitand parking prices were reasonable.
Stayed here a few times it's actually pretty decent! A little pricey but still good.
Great staff, clean rooms. The yard downstairs is definitely worth a stop also.
Great hotel and staff. Room was very clean, modern and nice view. 10 minutes to Metro station.
Cancelled my reservation with no clear reasoning. Made me wait in the lobby for two hours for a new room and would not discount or give me a free room.
Very comfortable bed, close to the harbor, Camden Yards -home of the Baltimore Orioles, and the convention center. Clean room, good breakfast.
Not great. Especially the gym needs a refresh. Machines were rusted
Great location football baseball and the inner harbour area within easy walking distance
Parking is 34.00, rooms smelled like baby powder including the pillows and no breakfast...
Very nice, clean, hotel with friendly staff. You can tell the building itself is a little outdated, however interior lobby and rooms are up to date. Good experience.
I stayed here several times for conferences. Very convenient location.
Great location and nice looking lobby but the rooms need help!!! Small and No mini bar The furniture was old and horrible, the dresser/ tv stand looked like it was chewed. For the price,, I am truly disappointed.in Marriott!!!
I am absolutely in love with this place. I really loved the room and the hot water tub. Honestly , the hot water tub was the best part of my stay. The place is very well maintained and is very clean. The staff gives their best to make you feel like home.Fabulous hotel in a great area.
Front desk very nice, but zero amenities here not to mention spitting distance from the hood of Baltimore. Doorman and concierge completely worthless other than converting oxygen to carbon dioxide! Fire station kiddy corner from motel, constant sirens. Hospital helipad 400 to 500 yards away so that is awesome all night along with the sirens. For such a crappy location least they could do is throw in some continental breakfast but they rather you pay for a $19.99 breakfast buffet and $6.30 energy drink. If you want to pay too much, have zero amenities, listen to constant sirens, have bums all over you and stay next to the hood....... this is your place. If I had to choose downtown this would NOT be my choice.
This hotel is all about location! Forewarning though it's a bit outdated.
Great location and great room. The breakfast was excellent.
Stayed during a business conference at the convention center. All the staff including the maids were very nice and knowledgeable when asked a question. They did forget to add the Marriott rewards to the card. The doors to the room slam shut if you let the door go, all through the night you could hear doors shutting. Other than that the stay was wonderful.
The room was very nice and clean and everyone we talked so was super nice! Since we were rewards members we also got free breakfast, hor d'oeuvres and dessert! The hotel is located in a great area and we would definitely stay here again!
Great staff. Food surprisingly good. Parking a little pricey.
Excellent accommodations and staff. Easily accessible with parking on site
The service was great and the cauliflower burger was delicious!
Great room, friendly staff. Within walking distance of the inner harbor and Orioles park at Camden yards
Went for lunch. Friendly service, burger tasted good but was a bit overcooked.
The view was beautiful and it's a very elegant hotel!
Close to downtown, can see Camden yards from the right rooms
The room was decent. Nice fridge (albeit well hidden in the cabinet under the tv), extremely comfortable bed, and very nice shower. The staff was fairly nice, and professional. That being said, they charge extra to access wifi, parking is outrageous cost wise, I couldn't hook up a game console to tv because the inputs were disabled, the decor is out dated, and the decor looks like it has seen better days, it was very beat up looking. The tv had an extremely fuzzy picture on a lot of the channels, and the cost to rent movies was astronomical (20 smackers)
The hotel is very clean also.
