HANDS DOWN- THE BEST TOUR! This was one of the highlights of our family tour to Scotland. Brian is a gracious and generous host and tour guide; giving us the royal treatment, answering all our questions and making us feel so special! His extensive tour included personalized, in-depth history and step by step explanation on the distilling process. The behind the scenes distillery tour from the grinding of the grain to the cask room was top-notch. To see, to smell and to taste helped us understand why Scotland's Speyside Scotch Whiskey is so special and why Ballindollach's will be the best once its fully aged. Can't wait to order my bottle! Cheers from the McPherson's of Montana!

I have to admit that I hesitated somewhat writing a review at all since this distillery is a hidden gem and I would like to keep it that way. But this boutique micro distillery is a beauty and well worth a visit. Brian s enthusiasm for producing the best whisky is literally intoxicating. Listen to his stories and enjoy!

Absolute 5-star experience. Best distillery I ve visited in Scotland. It s brand-new, totally independent, and run by a small group of whisky-geeks with a true passion for what they do. They re committed to an entirely old-school distilling process, so if you want to see how whisky was made in the 1800s, book a tour here, where Brian (a spectacular guide), will tailor the tour to your level of interest/knowledge.

Note - because it s so new, they don t have any Ballindalloch whisky for you to try (it s still aging). But don t be turned off by that... Brian has a surprise tasting waiting for you at the end, and trust me, it more than makes up for it.

Their passion and commitment is a treat to see, and I m itching to come back in a few years to try the finished product.

I was not sure, if we should visit this rather new distillery, or not. But we did, and did not regret it at all. Brian gives a very good tour of this beautiful place. And even though they dont have any of their own stuff to offer, you wont be disappointed by the end of the tour...

An awesome distillery tour. As they're still new you can not sample the whisky they produce.. yet, however the tour will be worth your time. Brian is clearly excited about their distillery and he has great stories of how it started and where they'd like to go. Plus, theres a really special tasting at the end. The visit was a highlight of our trip!

A fantastic tour of an unique independent whisky distillery with Brian. Incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, he made it a really special experience. The facility itself is excellent, and has been lovingly restored. Looking forward to returning to sample the finished product!
