The premise is terrific, but the execution of its mission is hindered by extensive hiring of people not properly qualified for the positions they hold (e.g., the financial officer has a degree in dance, and you could go down the list of adminstrators' credentials and never guess their post).
***The best part is there are a few excellent teachers, but DA doesn't offer much sense of community and students are permitted really egregious behavior seemingly if their parents are sufficiently generous to the endowment.
