Bale Chevrolet service made me NEVER go to a dealership service department again. . they tould me one price...but the teller tould me another...I looked up the average price for total parts and service. ..was $500 cheaper. ..

Worst service department ever. My last visit.
No doubt in my mind they got to me for several hundred $$ on unnecessary repairs and there's nothing I can do about it. Except share my story with everyone I know and take to social media. I'll never set foot on the lot again and I've bought 4 new vehicles there.

James K was extremely helpful, patient, kind and understanding. He listened to my situation and steered me towards a deal (brand new 2017 Malibu) that would be helpful for me in my current circumstance. James let me take my time and did not rush me into anything and did not try to up sale me things I did not need. I had a great experience and have already recommended James and Bale to my grandparents who are looking to buy a new vehicle. The Bale team all around was friendly and helpful but the only thing that I would change is the attitude of the finance team as they did not seem as open and patient.

This time it was pleasant. The only negative was having to spend over 4 hours there. If that time could be cut the time in half, then I would give them 5 Stars

When I arrived at Bale Chevrolet in search of a new car it was with the intention of finding an impressively durable and reliable vehicle. I drove away absolutely elated in an elegant, economical, astonishingly affordable, gas efficient, drives-like-a-dream Malibu, which - would you believe it - was recognized by J.D. Powers two years in a row for its durability and reliability. The entire purchasing experience was expedient, pleasant, and stress free. Everyone I dealt with from the salesperson to the finance officer was knowledgeable, cordial, and respectful. I am TOTALLY SOLD on this amazing car (my favorite in 60+ years of life) and this particular Chevrolet dealership.

Went to Bale Chevrolet to just look and see what they had. Lindsey was the first salesperson to approach me. She wasnt overbearing or anything! The whole experience was great! I ended up buying a Suburban. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone! Ask for LINDSEY! She will take great care of you and do everything she can to get you in a vehicle.

If today had gone according to plan, I would be getting ready to drive 2 hours to LR to purchase a vehicle. Instead, I am sitting here enjoying my morning, drinking coffee and looking out my door at my new SUV! After finding an offer online we reached out to Bale and within an hour, what will later prove to be an absolutely amazing buying experience began.
Skeptical of the online process ( I am a face to face kind of person who will rarely use a drive in if available) my plan was to see the vehicle in person, test drive, etc. I already knew it hit several of my check marks but I have a LOT of check marks and have never been accused of impulsive buying.....UNTIL.... Kelton Wilson contacted us. This man took customer service to another level. We felt as if we were there at the dealership. Detailed pictures, videos, phone calls, voice messages and more phone calls and in less than 24 hours we were finalizing papers, with an appointment to pick up today. Then we get a phone call letting us know that if we were available earlier they would gladly drive our new purchase to us and pick up our trade in. We did not ask for this and almost declined. I am so happy we didn t because the second best part of this transaction was meeting Joyce Johnson. Joyce is the driver who delivered our vehicle and we immediately felt as if we had known her our entire life. Her passion for her job and her dedication to Bale was apparent in the way her face lit up just talking about them. Had it not been for social distancing, I would have passed on the handshake and went straight for a hug!
Thank you both so much and thank you Bale Chevrolet for not only providing EXCEPTIONAL customer service but also for making our experience so personable. It has been a long time since I have been excited to even leave a review. Your team NAILED IT!

I purchased a brand new 2014 Chevrolet 1500 4WD crew cab Silverado that I am in love with. Ron Liggins was excellent in the whole buying experience. Bale Chevrolet had the exact truck that I wanted in stock and the staff had everything done in a timely manner. From test drive, price negotiating, paperwork to delivery of my sharp Chevy truck that all of my friends and family have been enjoying as much as I have. I would highly recommend Bale Chevrolet for the friendly service, quality and knowledge of their staff to anyone and everyone.AAAAA++++++

Brought my Malibu in for an oil change. Dropped vehicle off and within 45 minutes I got a call stating my vehicle was ready. Great service, friendly, professional employees. Will continue to not only buy my vehicles from Bale but to service my vehicle there.
Also, when I purchased my vehicle the salesman was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the vehicle. Willing to go that extra mile to see that I was satisfied with my purchase. I have even stopped by a couple times to get assistance with my Bluetooth & instrument panel. Cliff is always willing to help me out and I truly do appreciate him & the total staff at Bale Chevrolet on Chenal Parkway.

This dealership doesn t even deserve a one star. I purchased 3 vehicles from Bale within a 5 year period. My 1st experience was good, my 2nd experience was ok, but my 3rd one was awful! I thought after buying 2 vehicles in a 3 year period I would have been treated better than I was, but apparently they don t appreciate returning customers. So with all of this said, I just purchased a new vehicle and it wasn t from Bale Chevrolet. I will never go back to Bale!

Worst dealership ever. I went there because they had the parts for my car and i also had a warranty so didn t make since to pay more when i did. My engine kept running hot i told them what it was and they checked and saw and the guy sat in my face and told me oh yeah you good it s all covered. I m happy and was like okay good. Told me to sit in the waiting room would take about an hr to 2 to fix. I m like okay cool. Then he comes back and like they still checking the warranty it s not going through. I m like okayyyy. Then he come back again and like it s not covered it expired. I m like really you just wasted my damn time so now I m mad I m like where my car. They like you gotta pay $130 for diagnostics and miscellaneous fees. I m like why you told me it was covered so why i gotta pay when you told me. He s like i said it could be and if i didn t pay i couldn t take my car. I m pissed at this point because you lied you didn t check the warranty correctly and wasted my time and my money to give me a diagnostics on my car on what i already knew. Never going back since they can t seem to do they damn job right.

I don't personally agree with this dealership. It seemed as if they were trying to judge a book by its cover. I think that if you are spending money with them, then you should be allowed to drive the car like you need to, in order to get the fill of it. My salesman didn't allow any of that. Horrible experience.

Fraudulent experience Matt Huber the finance manager sent in a contract completely different than the one I was given. The bank called to verify and gave me the information they had no idea about the contract that I was given and wanted me to send a copy over it was completely different AND a higher price. I returned the vehicle and asked the bank to cease funding. Few days later I started receiving letters in the mail from different finance companies. Checked my credit to find out they ran my credit 36 times and I asked them to only run it through 2 banks because I was above a 710 across the board with all bureaus, even put it in writing! Lowered my scores from 10-23 points!!! Put money don t just to lower my payment a bit $2500.00 exactly. After returning the vehicle I was refused my payment and had to dispute my payment with my credit card company have to wait 90 days to receive it! So no vehicle, damaged credit score AND $2500 still in limbo. I found out later that Matt Huber was later fired for continuous fraud and various other things BUT I was never contacted to right this wrong!! You will be better off catching a donkey on the freeway and using it as transportation BEFORE buying a vehicle from here!!

Every 4 or 5 years I use Bale's Service department...

Every 4 or 5 years I use Bale's Service department because they're so close to where I live. Each time I have the equally bad experience. This time my wife's starter went out. I tested the battery and it was low but was fine. When Bale got it they said the battery was the issue, not the starter and that it would be nearly $200 to replace. I insisted that they leave the battery alone and Just change out the starter. They refused. So they changed the battery out and guess what... it's still wouldn't start. It was in fact the starter. I told them I wanted them to take the new battery out and put my old battery back in the vehicle at no charge. They refused. So now I have a $200 battery that I didn't need or want. Thank Bale (Patricia). I won't ever be back after this one.

My experience here was like no other! AJ is the best! Even with certain factored issues, AJ and Charlie were able to work things out in my favor. Everyone I encountered here were AWESOME! It was all completely hassle free. I was able to send all info by fax and pictures. By the time I made it there after work, all I had to do is sign papers and I was ready to roll. I have purchased four vehicles in my adult life and every single time was painful until I purchased from Bale Chevorlet! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!

We purchased a 2016 GMC 3500 Dually. Loved the truck, but on test drive we noticed a shimmy in the steering wheel. Our Salesman, David, was with us and noticed it too. He said everything was under warranty and he would get it taken care of. We had to make several trips to have it looked at, but EVERY time, David and Bale Chevrolet did right by us, providing us with fuel money, and a loaner car. The issue was finally resolved through the diligence of both Bale Chevrolet and us.

We love our truck, and love the customer service at Bale Chevrolet. We are looking to purchase another truck at the end of the year and Bale is where we will start!

I went to Bale to get my chevy Sonic fixed, it had an antifreeze leak. I was going there every Friday for 8hrs a day everytime for 2 months and ended up paying them $1,300 dollars and its was still leaking... I tried calling and talking to their manager and he didn't call me back! I was sick of spending my whole day off at that place for months! So.. I had decided to go to Russell Chevrolet and they got it fixed in 2hrs for $300. I will never go back to Bale for anything not even an oil change. They do not know what they are doing.

Good dealership, but I won't buy another used vehicle there. They can't ever seem to find the spare set of keys to go with it. I guess they're too cheap to order one before selling the car. On the plus side, they do offer free oil changes for life!

Paul has been the most helpful service person that I have ever encountered. Whether it is warranty or my costs. He is prompt and direct with the information but always delivers the highest customer service that I have ever received at a dealership. He gives me the same customer care every single time! And I have had quite a few visits to the service department these past few months. I can always count on Paul with accurate and prompt service when I come to Bale!

In May 2019 I bought a used car. The next day the check engine light came on. I immediately return to the dealership to address the issue. They claimed the software just needed to be updated and ensured that that should fix things (the code as an emissions code). The check engine light came back on and I returned within a few days (I lived 2 hours way from the dealership). That's when I was told I needed a new catalytic converter and it was within warranty. I was told that it was a part that was on national backorder and I'd be contacted as soon as it came in. A few month later we checked back in and we were informed that no such part was ordered and that service manager no longer worked there. Now my car is over mileage and they can not replace the part like I was initially told. I plan to provide all my documentation to the attorney general and the BBB.

What causes a spark plug to back out and dangle from the wire? Everyone I talked to said the mechanic did not torque it down enough. The truck had to be towed twice when the check engine light came on and the engine was rocking. Both times it was failed lifters in the number one cylinder. They had to remove the plugs to pull the head to fix it. The third time the check engine light came on and the engine was rocking we thought same thing again. Bale sent a tow truck to get it. They called to tell us it was the spark plug backed out of the number five cylinder hanging from the wire, (same head they had to pull to fix the lifters). I had been babying the truck to try and keep the lifters from failing. My husband said that is a mechanic failure. They said no because it had been over a year since they had worked on it. They then charged us $180.00 tow bill.

Be careful when giving the sales staff your information while working on a deal. I was looking at a truck and I gave them my information and explicitly told them not to run my credit until we agreed on a deal, then we could run the numbers. The details of the deal are not important here, but the issue I had was the lack of communication between sales associate, sales manager and the customer. There seemed to be a lot of confusion when it came to the details of my deal and ended up not working. But I did get a credit monitoring alert today from Bale Chevrolet that I did not approve. The sales manager told me that once it hits his desk it is ready to go. I told the sales associate not to run my credit, so now there is a hard inquiry on my credit report.

I get that there are numerous marketing tactics to get people in your door, but this last one you guys are running really pushed it when I saw the amount of elderly people that came in and honestly thought they had won something. It is one thing for an everyday joe to get out and about but it is difficult for elderly to get out.......so enough said.

My wife and I recently purchased a Certified pre-owned 2011 GMC Yukon from Bale Chevrolet. We could not have been more pleased with the customer experience. Having not been to a car dealership in over 6 years, I was expecting the typical pushy Sales tactics.

I was pleasantly surprised that everyone there at Bale was genuinely interested in helping us. Hunter helped my wife replace a fuse (in a car we didn't purchase from them)and didn't even charge us. David (our Sales person) was honest and very helpful in our decision making process. Jeff (the finance guy) was honest, funny, and saved us money compared to a USAA pre-approved loan we had secured.

Overall, my wife and I were thrilled with our experience and purchase. Today (2 days after the sale)we are in Chicago, IL after a family trip in our new Bale Chevrolet Yukon! We have already told several of our friends to Buy from Bale.

Thanks guys, we will definitely be back!

I bought my car at a different dealership. I wish I had not... Bale's is a superior dealership. The service department is topnotch... busy but that's cause more Chevy owners have found their location more central to Little Rock, their excellent service department & friendly employees. Even the waiting area is fab. This review in no way should detract from the quality at Crain, where I bought the car. Instead this review is only to note the superior service I have received from Bale. My next Chevrolet purchase will be from Bale Chevrolet.

Had an issue that another dealership could not cor...

Had an issue that another dealership could not correct, called Bale and they were very interested in my problem.
Tanya, Dustin, and the mechanic staff were friendly and very easy to work with. They not only fixed the issue I brought it in for but found two additional issues that were covered under warranty and got those fixed as well.
Thank you Bale Chevy for the excellent work.

I brought my vehicle in for service and a diagnostic was performed. I was told the issue was with the transmission. I left it overnight for a more thorough screening and was told it needed to be replaced and would cost upwards of $4,000! When I declined the work, I was told my bill would be nearly $800 for labor to put it in its original state so that I could drive it away. This seemed surreal. I asked if they could just leave the transmission disassembled to save on the remaining labor and was told, 'Yes, but regardless, the bill was what it was.' Once I got there to retrieve my 2010 Chevy Malibu that I'd originally purchased at Bale back in 2011, I was told that the transmission had already been put back in the car but I was only being charged $527. And if that wasn't enough, it could not be driven away! I had to rent a trailer and transport it without any assistance. The same day of pick up I dropped the car off at a reputable transmission shop and they assured me that the transmission hadn't even been taken from the car! They refuse to do any work until this issue is resolved further. I feel entitled to a partial refund if nothing else! I have spoken with a supervisor who was supposed to call me back. I am so disappointed and currently plan to never return to Bale for anything in the future. I really expected more!

Went there with my son, he had some issues with his car prior to. They fixed the problem, and weeks later we had to return for something we figured they missed because it was something going wrng with his car similar to what the problem was the first visit. Anyway we checked in but we called before we got there I spoke with a supervisor I will not disclose any names. We got there stood there and everyone was seeming to be so standoffish. Finally one of the clerk's said my I help I stated that I spoke with a particular person. The whole time he was sitting there saying nothing and finally the clerk asked him if he talked with me, he said no I didn't talk to anyone I said are u serious? He said awe yes I did I don't know where my mind was! I was thinking the whole time please don't make me click dude ur a liar plus ur rude AF! To make a long story short they didn't want to acknowledge the fact that they messed up something and the cost was on them. Overall they didn't admit it was there fault, the first time my son paid $400 and this time they wanted him to pay $250. Anyway I will not dismiss the fact that the place is very clean and they have a great selection of Canteen. Chips, coffee, popcorn etc. They need to do better with customer service period. My experience only.

Dealer does not honor the KBB Instant Cash Offer.

Bale Chevrolet was a complete waste of time and I hope that they reconsider how they handle the Instant Cash Offer from KBB. The cash offer is well below trade-in value and what I think is fair to both parties involved, but Bale undercut the valuation by 10%. A complaint has been filed with KBB and we will see how that goes. If you don't want to buy cars, that is fine (just to advertise that you do).

I was also not happy with how the whole transaction takes place where the sales person goes behind the glass and talks to a manager and then they are the messenger. Why can't the person that is making the decisions just talk directly to the customer. This is a complete waste of time and frankly why the car sales experience is so dreadful.

When I am in the market for a vehicle, Bale Chevrolet will not be on my list to do business.
