Balducci's Review

Great "small" place for great selection of foodstuffs. We have ordered their prepared turkeys for the holidays and have always been great although the ordering process is somewhat disorganized but we always got our food on time.

The greatest little grocery store in the area always has a great selection of different organic and gourmet foods. Great service with a local feel. Best Market.

Pricey store, don't do all your shopping there but for a tasty treat or a lunch or a few items there and there it is a great place. High quality prepared foods and a wide selection of ethnic foods as well as other foods.

I remember when this was HeyDay. Great stop on Sunday mornings. Now as Balduccis' still good. Pricey....get what you pay for.

It was not the most comfortable feeling. But the young man at the meat counter was very nice

I really like their selection of tea. Some of them I can't find anywhere else, so I love coming here. Their prices are a bit pricey but it's well worth it.

Great local market to have. It hands down beats the Gristedes in the Golden Horseshoe. I sometimes wish there was more of a selection.

Cozy quality local shopping. Great selection of premade lunches and meals. Deli atmosphere with a supermarket selection. Love it.

Opulent, tasty, great variety, yet terrible parking lot filled with high end soccer utility vehicles fueled by drivers with a reckless abandon and atomic rage. Need cameras on those lights.

This place is great. The hot food is especially good. Great selection, fresh produce and vegetables. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that there is very little room to move around especially on a crowed weekend. I prefer a Wednesday night. The place is empty then and a pleasure to shop. The prices are high but no more then a place like whole foods. Keep an eye out for sale items you can usually get a better sale price. Easy location to find in Scarsdale.

Balducci is an amazing place. You can alot of grocery staff and food. And they are so good.

Ok place to shop but you'd think with the high prices and Scarsdale neighborhood everything would be organic but 95% is not organic. Also the pretentious people that shop there are so obnoxious. They're getting overpriced and they're eating pesticide/chemical ridden food.

Little pricy as a store in general but I just had great customer service in the pre-made food/sandwich department. Very kind and helpful people there. I hope they are always treated with the kindness they deserve

I just wish the customers here and in just about every market around here would be more kind to employees and fellow shoppers. My mother raised her daughter to say excuse me when I need to get around someone. Staring at people or knowingly rubbing your cart or purse against others is just rude! This area is filled with classless shrues!!!

It was great quality. I agree prizes are slightly, over the top but the food is delicious!.

Balducci s has wonderful produce, salads, prepared foods as well as wonderful grocery items that you won t find in supermarkets. I ve often shopped at Bslducci s for their delicious cakes and cookies as well as their sandwiches. They also have a wonderful ice cream selection!

This location is filled with the amazing cheeses, local vegetables and hands down the best meat and fish department in the area. Most of the staff is very friendly, however the entire deli department has zero sense of urgency, and seems quite put out to cut meats for you. But the butchers and cashiers are lovely. The store is spotless, and they have done a great job keeping the store well-stocked during the hoarding covid months.

Clean, wonderful selection of prepared foods, great produce, nice selection of baked goods and really good coffee.

What a great little spot for a discerning local audience. Picking up some items for a barbecue we were attending . Beautifully and thoughtfully presented specialties that make the Balducci's experience what it is along with the necessary staples one looks for on a regular basis made this trip well worth the stop. Highly recommend if in the Scarsdale area to enjoy a cornucopia of epicurean delights.

Overpriced. Guacamole.and chicken tortilla soup are great.

Particularly nice meats and deli (best hand sliced lox I've found in Westchester) and everything else is at least decent and often excellent quality. But you definitely pay for it. And then some.

Terrible. Ordered a platter for a shiva - came wrapped in saran wrap. Some of the fruit was inedible - would NEVER use them again.

It s nice, container of cut up watermelon was $20. I will just leave it at that.

Balducci - another NY landmark. The one in Scarsdale is 'prime time'; quality food products, excellent variety, attentive staff - only the best groceries for you and your family, but bring plenty of cash - it'll cost you to eat well.

Very nice store, very nice staff- oddly set up and space is limited. To be expected, Balducci s is pretty expensive- sometimes obscenely. Food is fresh and good variety of organic

Excellent food overall. Overpriced. But convenient location. Sometimes the fruit is disappointing.

Balducci's has a lot if speciality foods and fresh meat, deli and produce. They are a little pricey but the food is excellent. The got italian sausage is great and the deli turkey tastes like a freshly roasted turkey. For real taste it is worth the extra dollars

Balducci's Food Lover's Market is amazing they have really good vegetables. Most of their product usually are long lasting.

They use Keurig style capsules to make their espressos and lattes. The coffee is cheap and lacks aroma. For a "food lovers market" please step up your game.

Hudson valley chicken salad is delicious. The store is pricey but most things you get what you pay. The coffee section to make your own can use some work. Overall, great store!

It's small and tight and somewhat exotic. It's the only market on this side of town and Scarsdale. It's a small grocery store with some flair. People on this side of Scarsdale do appreciate it. If you're looking to get something catered or impress somebody, this might be the case. It's good to have a party catered from here as well. I have been in here a couple of times when I'm in this part of Scarsdale. Parking can be a nightmare if it's busy. It's been around for many years. It's too bad you can't see it anymore from the street because of that heinous building that they put in front of it. Expensive!!!! So, be ready to spend..
