A little out of the way but fun for drinks, coffee, sweets and games

This place looks so tiny from the outside, but it is so quaint and chill on the inside. I lived right around the corner from this spot for years, and figured it didn't have much seating inside, but boy was I wrong! I'd suggest this spot as a nice, little cute date spot.

My he burgers are delicious and the cake is amazing!

Nice place. I think it is overpriced though. They have good deserts.

Went in at 1 pm was disappointed that any of the reasons I wanted to go there for were not available since the kitchen was not open. So if you want to go gor the entire menu don't go til after 6pm.

I had the best cocktail I've ever had here. The perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Also the texture was so creamy. Deliciousness to the max!

Look at my photos. I paid 12$ for three tiny stacks of cold vegetables. Why on Earth is this a cold dish? It's raining, it's cold. I read the menu and was expecting warm, comforting veggies. I so rarely leave less than a 4 star rating. So disappointing. Service was Very Nice which is why they get 2 at least.

This spot is my guilty pleasure. Cocktails and cake, can you really ask for anything more? Don't forget to check out the other desserts included in the cocktail menu!

Baker's burger was pretty tasty but the brownie a la cosmos was really not worth the price at all. Thin brownie, scoop of ice cream, inedible Skittle brittle. I had the banana foster cake slice which made me sick to my stomach. Sickly sweet marzipan instead of frosting more like a cinnamon roll than banana. Baker's burger is the only reason this gets 2 stars

Bakery bar has great cakes and yummy cocktails! Great for playing board games (bring your own or play theirs!) and catching up with friends.

Great beignets, and the only place I ve been able to find a good cider! The prices and drink are nice.

The cakes were delicious as were the drinks. It's a neat little spot to hang out. The staff was friendly and entertaining.

Dessert is beyond belief, so is shrimp and grits... breakfast sandwich is average. Over all great service and would come back just for the dessert!!

Very good cake! The rainbow one is a bit too almond-y but the other ones I tried were all moist and flavorful. I m not the biggest fan of frosting. It s too sweet. But if you have the patient to separate the cake and the frosting, the cake itself is amazing

Amazing place that's a must anytime you're in New Orleans.

I stopped in for lunch and to pick up a cake I ordered and everything was perfect. The brussels sprout salad was huge, and they have a great cocktail menu- mostly combinations I've never heard of that are creative and taste great ( especially Mean Jolene and the bartender suggested Carlito Spritz which I loved). The cake I ordered, and the extra slices I bought were delicious and beautifully presented. Most importantly, service was excellent. Warm, friendly and fast.

For cakes and petit fours, your money is much better spent at Haydels or Gambino's bakery.

Great little place for when you're feelin like treatin' yoself!!

Beignets tasted more like stuffed doughnuts, or a toaster strudel kinda..but they are still pretty good. The cake was great nice and the drinks were good too (expensive but good). They have some cool cake flavors and they stuff their beignets.

Friendly staff and quick service. Shrimp and grits were very tasty. The grits were Luke warm but the flavors hit the spot.

Came here for the cakes! Had 2 of them. It was good for sure but nothing special. The spot is quite nice and it's def a great sit down place. But, I wouldn't go out of my way just for the cake.

Little out of the way, but worth it. Loved the Lemon Doberge. Nice cocktail selection. Had the carrot cake Doberge too, but Lemon was hands down the best.

The drinks are fun, the cake is spectacular. Everything is Instagram worthy and delicious. Not the cheapest option, but well worth the price. If your table can commit to an entire piece of doberge cake, try the petit fours.

Great service, very friendly staff. Patrons need to be aware of the noise level they bring into the Bakery. It gets so loud inside so easily, and it makes it harder for the staff to hear other customers orders. Those benjettes were on point though!!! They have a orange custard filling that's inside them and it was phenomenal!!!

Had fantastic drinks and cake while watching D2. Who can ask for more?

I live close to Bakery Bar.Geat people working there. It is a big place with lots of room and clean decorating. Cake is good, drinks are well made. I've been a couple times and had fun. 10/10

You guys! I m a Fan of Cake! You know, like a fat kid loves cake that s me! This place! Come try them out! Delicious dessert! I can t say anything about the food because all I had was 4 desserts. All delicious! And my wife Loved the Almond beautiful rainbow cake! I have never seen her almost finish a Whole slice of cake in one sitting! Ever!

This place is so AWESOME!!! Their cake is delicious and also enjoyed an Irish coffee. The setting is so cute and cozy. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed my experience and time there while growing their great selection of books. One of my favorite places to visit when in New Orleans.

I may have just ordered the wrong thing. The beignets were chocolate chip were dense and oily. Their take on a Twinkie was interesting, better than the other dish. Maybe I should have just ordered one of the pretty cakes instead.

I don't know how my fellow traveler found this place but I'm so glad she did. I have never ever been to something a place like this before. Its like a coffehouse with a bar type feel all rolled into one. Loved it. The cake I had was so so good. Nice atmosphere and friendly people to boot. This place is a nice spot to visit after you have had a nice dinner but still want something sweet and delectable.

Bakery Bar has been on my list of places to go for months. I was in the area (during rush hour) and decided to give it a try. Surprisingly, the parking situation was good! The employee was super helpful as we tried to decide what flavors to try. I got a slice of the Cinnamon Roll (it was ehhh) and tried several of the minis. The Chocolate Coconut was delicious, but the Peppermint Bark and Carrot Cake were just okay. The Key Lime Pie was not good at all. It was weird because there were graham crackers inside. All of the desserts were crazy sweet...like they are overcompensating for something else. I'm sorry but I just didn't get the hype. I've had better cakes at other places.
