Great food and great beer, one of the best burgers in town

If you stop serving food an hour before close, you should put that on the website.

Best beer in Bakersfield. The streets of Bakersfield is the best

Quick service, dog friendly, great barrel-aged oatmeal stout, and the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. Would post a picture but they are gone.

We drove almost three hours to meet friends for lunch and beers at this spot on a Saturday. When we arrived it turns out the entire place and the one next door were rented out to a private event. It is a shame they dont care about the rest of their customers. Renting out private rooms makes more sense whilst still serving the rest of the clients specially on the busiest day of the week. Horrendous service.

I had heard this place didn't have table service but when my family and I went for my birthday there was. There wasn't many people being sat at the time we went and it seemed like they had 4 or 5 servers working but it still took over ten minutes to get someone over to take our drink orders and appetizers. Once those were placed it took another 10 minutes to grab 3 beers and two cokes. When the waitress brought our drinks she took our orders and that was the last time we saw her until the food came.

Once the food came you could tell a couple of the burgers had been sitting out for ajttme while because they were colder than the other burgers and one family member did not get their meal. So we waited another 10 or 12 minutes waiting for their food to arrive. Once it arrived the waitress took off without asking if you wanted anything else to drink and when we tried to ask her she seemed to ignore us. Not wanting to wait another 15 minutes for her to come around again we began to eat and half way through eating we finally were able to chase her down and get only our 2nd round of drinks.

The food was ok. Would have been better actually warm. The two beers I got to try were good but the service. Oh god the service is why I'll never go again.

I enjoyed a bison Berger and "one-hit-wonder" rice IPA.

Awesome brewery. Great beer and freindly staff. Would highly recommend the tour. Was supposed to last a half hour, but Stu put up w us for a good hour and a half.

Great hamburger and fries. Stopped in for a work lunch so didn't try their beer. Food wasn't cheap, but I think definitely worth it.

Interesting brewery. Appetizers were great. Rootbeer fantastic. Sandwiches were fine, a bit bland. Good service.

I was only able to enjoy their food, as it was lunch time and I had to drive. The food was delicious, the variety on the menu was amazing and the establishment was beautiful. I left off 1 star because the service was less than great.

Great spot! Huge space with plenty of big tables as well as bar seating. There is also a large patio. They have a bunch of board and card games, so it's fun to hang out and play some games, and the games can keep kids interested. Also they have tons of TVs and show all the games. The service is really great, friendly and efficient. Food and beers were for the most part good, though some items were definitely better than others. All in all a great place to hang out!

Great selection quality of beer on tap. Art for purchase hung around the room complement the environment.

Only our second visit, and we're still keeping this unique brew pub on the favorites list! Yet to find a pint I haven't liked. Menu selections are creative and delicious. We'll be back.

The beer. That's why you come. Only open 2 years and the beer here is fantastic!
There's a style of beer to drink for every person. The lagers are refreshing and well done. The IPAs are most improved and will satisfy any hop head out there. Their award winning blood orange wit is very popular and refreshing. A kolsch style beer, awesome! They have a one hit wonders section where the head brewer's stylistic talents are showcased in smaller batches.

The pub is vast, spacious and comfortable. The brewhouse is great to look at. There's occasional tours available with samples. The food menu is full of interesting selections from chicharones (pork rinds) to flat breads to a superfood salad!

Temblor is an awesome place to sit and watch the game with a flight of beers. You can geek out on their stainless steel 20 barrel brewhouse and, if you're lucky, maybe you'll meet the brewer, Mike.

First time there last time there. Certainly not worth the drive out of my way.

Great beer, food, atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and the service was great.

Great place for the whole family. There is a lot of room here so if your kids need to get out of the chair and run around no big deal. Also they have a lot of board games that always help keep the older kids entertained. The food here is also good.

I really like the decor. Super wide open spaces and huge comfy sofas. The food is okay but you should come to a brewery for the beer anyway, right? Beer selection is nice and the sampler is recommended

Not the best beer in town but it's good and seems to be improving. Food is what you expect from a brewery. Good burgers and few other options. Location is nice big warehouse that feels roomy and fun. Seating and service rules are a bit confusing and annoying which is why I avoid this place.

Great beer, great food, great service. I wish all servers where as good as Payten.

We did the self service. It was quicker and we got to a great table. Food and drinks are reasonable in price range. Cool games to play to pass time while food comes. Friendly servers. The chicharrones and poutine are so amazing. That sriracha sauce was so good we had to ask for extra.

Really nice atmosphere. Great place to hangout while the kids are at Rush Air Sports or the Karts place. I loved that their are games at play with..
The beer was ok, I love craft beers, but I was not very impressed by these flavors,,, but the atmosphere was worth over looking that. What I couldn't understand was why the kitchen closed at 8pm? The place was packed at 7 while we waited for our kids & family to finish at Rush so was could have dinner & no dinner... that sucked

Nice large space. Very good food. I had the added bonus of seeing line dancing there on a Tuesday night.

Food service was awful. Beer wasn't cold enough or asked if I would like a refills. I will not be going back.

Solid beer options. The seasonal rotation were good, but I prefer the standard offerings a bit more. The food menu is limited to bar style, so it won't wow you. I liked the concept of table service or ordering at the bar. However, I did want table service and found no hostess to direct me. Ordering at the bar worked real well in the end.

The few times I've been to this brewpub I've had a great time! While the large modern, open-space atmosphere might not appeal to all, to me it's a great change of pace for Bakersfield. I've tried most of the beers on the ever-growing beer menu and have been quite impressed. The food also surprised me by definitely beating the ordinary pub grub you find elsewhere. The owner(s) seem very open to input and changing the place based on the feedback of their customers which means this place should only get better and better.

You can order by table service or self-serve. There is outside seating, and a bar (only beer). The vegetarian burger is made with rice patty and is surprisingly so tasty. Generally, I don't like 'boca' burgers but this one is legit. I ordered it with the sweet potato fries which are drizzled with honey and am impressed by the only main course I could eat. Will go back for that burger.

Good place to stop by when you're traveling from SF to LA. Nice draft beer with yummy chickens and burgers.

Took a longer than expected for the first round of beers and food. This was for a group of 8 people at lunch time on a weekday. A spot to definitely kick it. But if your on your hour lunch, dont come. But a very cool spot and the beer fog delay, a special.. was absolutely delicious!

This place is so good from the moment you step inside. The food is great, the atmosphere especially the beer on tap. The only reason why I give it 4 stars is the wait time on delivery of your food.

Came here on a Friday afternoon. Very open, friendly atmosphere. They offer a selection for sale, food and games to keep people entertained.

Good food. The brews are getting better. They have a few special brews and new beers. Have been here several times and the food has been really good every time.

If I wanted a cold drive thru meal, I would have gone to McDonald's. Issue expressed to waiter. He did replace the fries, however, laughed about the cold chicken sandwich. Does California not have health food inspections?

We waited 45 minutes for a hamburger on a week day. Wasn't impressed with the beer. Most of the beer has similar flavor.

Love the effort they put in to create an enjoyable atmosphere during these rough times and as always great cold beer and food!

Visited this place because I read the amazing reviews and I have to say they weren't wrong. I love the fact the space is very open and everyone is super friendly. When we arrived they offered us bar seating or service at a regular table. We opted for the table. When we sat down our server was with us immediately. She took our drinks order and returned shortly to take our order. She was very friendly and very attentive with us. I loved the fact that they had live music which was very entertaining.

The beer was flat. And you have to make a line everytime to Get a beer.

Visited on a laid back Sunday night. Tasted several good brews. I ate the Greek salmon salad which was great. Bartender and one server were very friendly and told us about the brewery history and a bit about Bakersfield and themselves. Appears several of the waitstaff are older college students. This place is much more of a rocking scene on Friday and Saturday nights we surmised. Would recommend this place to others and will definitely go there again ourselves.

Nice selection of food. Fried pickles are awesome. Good beer selection.

Honestly, this place is mediocre at best and they took over 45 minutes on a slow night to get is our food. We decided to leave because it took too long....Then when given the option, to charge us for the food or not to, they did....So subpar food and a less than meaningful meal probably isn t worth your time or money...

Hamburgers are excellent. Chicken stripes need some work. No flavor. Over all had a great time

Food is excellent, most of the beers are not very good though. There are a couple of good ones.

Service is terrible, group of 8 and managed 2 rounds of beer in 2 hours. Took 15 take our drink order, another 15 to get the drinks, 45 minutes for appetizers and we had to flag the waitress down for a second round.

Never even refilled waters or the one soda that was empty the whole time.

Food is good, beer is good and I am never going back.

Place is cheap to drink since you have to beg for beer...

Great Impossible Burger and fries. Fast and friendly service. Nice open atmosphere and plenty of room for families. Will be back.

I've never had a bad experience here. I've dined in, called in large orders by phone, and have had private parties here. From their burgers and fries, to their famous Chicharrones, to their craft beers and finger foods, you'll be impressed with the quality and the experience. You owe it to yourself to try Temblor out. You won't be disappointed!

Came here on Wednesday to try the place out before I brought my husband and a friend of ours. Loved the cheese curds and the Triple Cheese fries. The beer selection was awesome. Will come back here again.

Interesting place, first visit. Had an oatmeal stout and it was just OK. Comfortable places to sit and they had a trio playing Irish style music. I will try them again.

Friendly relaxed atmosphere, cool decor, very nice staff. Beers are very good too! Food is pub grub but elevated to a higher level.

Overall, good brewery and a fun visit. It s a large, open, industrial style space suitable for large groups, as well as small gatherings. Oversized wood tables can be found, as well as smaller, intimate tables, and even couches to lounge on. They have board and card games to play, which is nice for the kids. Found the variety of beers to be great, with several different styles. All the samples I tried were true to style and done well, the the exception of the barley wine. I was excited to see a barley wine since they can be rare, but it was too astringent and lacked any type of smoothness that a good barley wine contains. My biggest complaint was the ordering process. It s a pretty big space, yet they funnel everyone though one single line that moves very slow. It was a deterrent to ordering a second round for us, since we found that it moves terribly slow. They are losing business with this system, and making it inconvenient for the customer. But otherwise, good place to go to and would recommend.
