Very bad service. I try to stay local and support local businesses but this business has very bad business practices and will put fraudulent debt in your name. Do not let them take automatic payments from your account!

It s a whole process to rent an instrument. The contract is Ridiculous. They ll only let you rent and OLD trombone (or any instrument for that matter) for minimum three months it s not like the image they give that the rentals are only for a month. -_- would not recommend.

I've been a customer of California Keyboards for many years. Their staff is the best. I've bought a piano, keyboard, flute, and trumpet. Each purchase experience has been top notch. My grandchildren have taken music lessons there as well. Ed is the best piano tuner, and their repair shop is fantastic. I Highly recommend California Keyboards!!

I'm quite disappointed with the rental process of this establishment. I wish they are more clear and make the whole process much simpler. I won't be going back.

Very clean atmosphere and good prices, come here for all your musical needs. Good advice and willing to work with clients on a personal level. Violin players I recommend trying the Magic rosin.

Those who feel they got screwed most likely feel that way with many other businesses...choosing a trumpet or tuba,etc is solid evidence

Beware of the rental charges. It is not rent to own. When you have earned enough "rental credits" to actually own the instrument, they will not let you know that and will continue to charge a monthly rental fee. I paid an additional $280 for my son's clarinet before I called to check the balance of what I owed. It was an auto-pay from my CC and I should have paid closer attention. That is my fault but I think it's pretty damn sketchy of California Keyboards to run their business this way. I will be letting my music director friends know about this practice.

Had the most wonderful experience in piano tuning!!! Ed was so knowledgeable about our Piano which happens to be Petrof a European piano and tuned and voiced it beautifully, gave me goose bumps just to be able to listen to the piano in tune and voiced perfectly!!! It was a pleasure for me to have you give my piano it s voice again blessings and thank you

Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! Very nice and tidy! Lots of keyboards! But lots of instruments of many types.

Rented a trumpet for my son's lessons at school for 2 years in the rent to own program. Called in two times to check balances and see if we were almost paid off since I never actually received a receipt for direct deposits. When I called they would give me balance info and options. Just called today because I knew it should be paid off by now. Then big surprise! Rent to own will let you keep making payments over the value of the instrument and you can "rent forever" without them contacting you to sign over the instrument. It is up to you to follow up and get the instrument signed over , that you already paid for. How this can be called a rent to own service is beyond me. I ended up paying over $100 more of the value of the instrument. The company would have have continued charging me if I didn't check in. My fault for thinking this was a service that had a system that didn't rely on their customers oversights.
