Do not use this place, lying bunch of people, said that supplier let them down and would deliver in a week. One week later and no delivery and would not answer the phone(too many people ordering apparently) said that the posts and panels weren't ready so I demanded my money back. I think the bloke behind the counter has (Little man syndrome, arrogant)
Recommended by a friend to use B G Fencing when planning to renovate my garden. Found them to be easy to deal with and the quality and range of products was great. Will be using again.
This place has been fantastic over the last couple of months. Myself and elderly parents have had numerous deliveries throughout this COVID-19 situation just to keep ourselves busy.
Deliveries always on the day they stated and delivered in a safe professional manner.
Excellent service, good value, great selection. The place to come if you are looking for Garden Specific features, rockery, pools, ponds, stonework, stepping stones fencing, turf and so on. Tho if you want turf you need to order in advance.
Bought some Closeboard fencing over lockdown. Order received on the day stated although no estimated time given which given the circumstances I can understand.
Panels are excellent quality we bought from another local company to replace similar panels last year but BG s are far superior and glad we made the switch.
Went to B G Fencing to get a bit of advice regarding my garden flagging. Spoke to a man called Alex, he was very helpful and showed me different options available. He gave me a written quotation and worked out materials i would need. I ordered and the materials were delivered the next day. Very Good service and helpful Staff. Would recommend.
I order a selections of fence post and fancing after talking with the guys. They delivered on time from Preston to Blackburn, everything was nice and stacked and wrapped. Delivered on time and place in a good manner with easy to move Thank you. Will definitely buy from again.
I was disappointed with the service recurved from BF Fencing considering we have spent so much with them. BG fencing agreed to collect the soil that the Paving installer ordered incorrectly. When I rang today as it was a week since they agreed to collect. I was told as they ha e been told by the paving installer it has stones they cannot take it back.
- why agree for a refund? - the soil is in the bag it came in and not used therefore why would it have stones? I checked again today and cannot find any stones.
The response that I have received and many others (refer to feedback on here and yell) say it all about the company. This is the first time I have made such feedback as I genuinely am disappointed with the lack of ethical values of the organisation and bad customer service. You could have simple arranged for someone to have a look at the soil and checked yourself if it s returnable or not. Why agree then state it s the first you have heard of this? Anyways, I really don t want to spend too much time on this. There are other companies that are good such as Savoy timber, Build base, Jewson that have been so good to deal with as they are professional organisations!
Great choice of real Christmas trees, helpful staff and fast service. Only downside is there's no parking, you'll have to find space on the busy roadside.
Just had my delivery from BG fencing. What a great driver. Managed to get his lorry up the drive and place the bags of soil and sleepers right where we wanted them. The soil is good quality and the sleepers are excellent. I will be using them again and would highly recommend them to anyone.
I recently purchased 450 pounds worth of fencing.brilliant service from sales staff and young man in yard.but rang and asked if there was any possibility of dropping one last panel off for me to be told (look pal we have account customers we don't do that for)and to find out later that I was speaking to the manager!well I wasn't impressed to say the least. After borrowing a friend's van went back to pick up panel as I had already paid for it.arrived at yard where yard man greeted me with-what do you want?I said one panel ,begrudgingly he went for panel then told me (it won't go in there!)it did! Then told me (your vans a bloody mess)wasn't mine but that's irrelavant. Enough to say I won't be going back! Shame because my other visits have been great!!
Poor customer service, advised delivery in afternoon but delivered in morning and panels found dumped unsafely on drive. Good quality panels hence the one star. Real shame they don t communicate well with customers, every person spoke to was rude and lacked interest in their work.
Very very poor business, from the workers and owners to the drivers. Stay away at all costs!!!! We had ordered some top soil to arrive on the 26/8 at 3PM, in which we had made arrangements for landscape designers to arrive and men to help with the unloading. The driver arrived at 4:15, who firstly started throwing his hands up, started shrugging his shoulders and waving his arms about when he could not find parking, when there was a space available outside our property. When the driver finally came round and parked up, we advised him to park his van closer to the unloading position required, and reversing his van into our drive. The driver started complaining that he had already been done for stopping roads before . We advised that we will stop the traffic for him, all he has to do is corner reverse the van into the drive, a simple task any common driver would be able to do. The driver said he will try to reverse in, otherwise he ll go round the block and try again. He also stated that he ll come back tomorrow, we advised that that should not occur as we have had men paid and planned to come today, and he should at least take another attempt. We stopped the traffic for the driver who had to do a simple corner reverse his van into the drive, which has been done previously by big lorries and trucks. Instead the driver with no communication drove off, we waited 10 minutes for him to come back round yet there was no sign of him. After this weird occurrence we contacted BG fencing, we spoke to Derek who stated he runs the place and that he s sent the driver home. We advised that we need the soil today and we have planned and paid for landscape designers and men to come at the agreed date and time. Derek kept stating that there s nothing that he can do except tell the driver to try again tomorrow, forcing for us to take a refund instead, which was not our intention.
We then went to visit BG fencing as derek was just implying us the ultimate option would be putting through a refund. Derek then stated that there is no point causing hassle for 20 quid worth of soil showing that BG fencing favour customers based on how much they pay them. When questioning this statement derek declined to comment anymore and walked away, leaving us to talk to another staff member. When questioning that the order was late and how simple of a task it was, and to recall the driver, they advised that we will sent him back tomorrow and there s nothing that they can do besides a refund. This same statement was repeated for over half an hour, pressuring for us to leave with no answer as their business was about to close. When questioned that our road will still be busy if the driver comes tomorrow, the staff member had no answer, and then ultimately changed his answer to we will give you another driver then . BG fencing did not consider the external effect that their driver s lack of confidence had caused, and the loss to ourselves with the workers called, with not a mere apology given by BG fencing, threatening to call the police for no reason. As we were not getting anywhere with BG fencing, we had to take up the refund, pressured by the staff members kicking us out and putting the alarm on as they have closed with our query unresolved. As we were processing the refund the owner came in, stating that he ll get us done for trespassing as it s passed closing time with no apology or remorse that his company had caused. This owner started threatening us, stating that I will make sure that you don t get your soil from anyone in Preston , one customer is nothing to us and good luck getting your soil from anywhere now .
This bad customer service and lies could have easily been overturned by contacting the driver to come back and attempt to park his vehicle in the desired position, yet BG fencing declined to do this.

Disapointed is not the word, I have used B G FENCING a number of times over the years the it's a shame because the product is very good however on this occasion there customer service falls way short of the standard expected to tell customers B G Fencing/staff never makes mistakes smacks of arrogance to say the least. I would recommend if you do use B G Fencing make sure you get a written confimation of your quote I wish I had.
Fantastic service. As a family, we have always used BG Fencing and it s the first people I think of with regards to my fencing requirements. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable.
Use BG regularly for concrete posts, base panels and closeboard panels to renew garden fencing; good quality and value for money. Bad news for BG is that now I've just about finished for a few years.
Christmas tree is absolutely lovely but the website had no way of booking a delivery time. With some wood I had ordered previously somebody called me to confirm and arrange but this time I came out on Sunday lunchtime to find my tree dumped on my doorstep. They hadn't even rung the doorbell.
