Jeff was very professional and in depth with his inspection, when I had questions after the inspection had take place Axium and the inspector both called to answer the questions and ensure that the report was correct. Excellent customer service!
I did a FULL inspection which included everything from mold, to thermal to everything in between. Except for the regular inspection and radon everything is done through 3rd parties. My full inspection cost me $1700 lasted about 3 hours with a main inspector, and an apprentice. From nearly the start, the main inspector told me that he had to be somewhere for another inspection. He mostly shrugged his shoulders to any questions I had. Here are major things that the inspection report did not include: no mention of 1) streak marks or rust nails on front of home, 3) no mention of broken backyard gate, 4) no picture or discussion of cracks in the basement or garage. I found these issues on my own on another visit. The main inspector refused inspectn of outside structures. OKAY, is that stated clearly and visibly in your contract? Then he told me later he would not inspect the humidifier. But this is internal to the home? No luck. So how are we to know what you inspect and don t? Seemed like there were lots of little gotchas like this. The basement had a sump pump/pit and it was sealed (and no water in the pit) but the inspection report said that the sump pump was tested. The sump pit was never opened (and remained sealed after the inspection) so how was it tested. This is when I knew not to trust what was in the report. I never saw any samples being collected for wood destroying organism, perhaps they did it but I never saw it. The thermal imaging was not included in the main report and was only presented after couple of requests. The thermal imaging comprised of some 9 pictures taken at few locations in the home. So anyone out there thinks that thermal imaging will be done of the entire home, then guess again. The main inspector s listed credentials on the Axium s website says he is used to be a roofer in the past, yet he never climbed anywhere to even look from the gutters. The roof inspection was primarily done through a drone which was outsourced work for which I had to pay extra. If the roof is 2-storey, there will no roof inspection done unless you get a drone inspection which is essentially high level (wouldn t say high resolution) pictures of the roof. So unless the roof was caving in you would not see much. Luckily, the drone guy who came out for me climbed on the first floor and looked around an area of about 10feet by 10feet and said he saw some dents in the shingles. All in all, Axium was a disappointment because they did not pick up many issues I mention earlier and rest of the inspection was mostly shoddy or incomplete or work not even done. I thought I was paying them all this money so they could point out major issues with the home not take pictures of burned out light bulbs and leaky faucets (yes, leaky faucets are important but they missed more important stuff in many places). Their website touts 12 month warranty, which is useless because the company they use called Residential Warranty Services will not do anything for you if things did not go right, that is if they answer the phone calls in the first place (check out their reviews). It s possible Axium was a good company in the past but now it s all about marketing muscle while trying to maximize the number of inspections during a day (specially in summer when they are busy). I looked through all reviews before hiring them and it did not pan out anywhere near what I had expected. I am not a big reviewer by any means but I felt compelled to write about them because house buying is a such a big deal and you want a party that will show you everything that is possibly wrong with the home and not act like they are in a hurry to begin with and not generate report on time/thoroughness or not answer your questions during the inspection with patience or completeness and even make up stuff. I would not do any other inspection with this company. UPDATE10/1/19- The owner & mgr called, tried to understand why such a review & returned~20% of $. I'm changing my review from 1 star to 3 star becoz they attempted to remedy the situation.
Jim was great! The property(town) lost power in the middle of his inspection, he rescheduled and took care of everything in a timely manner.

We had a great experience with Axium inspections. Our inspector, Brian M, was very knowledgeable and explained his report to us in detail at the end of a thorough, 3.5 hour inspection. He took the time to explain things we didn't understand, and even had the inspection report ready the same day. They were also able to come out on a Saturday. We were very impressed, and would use Axium again in a heartbeat.
Edit : They removed me from email so thats good. Inspection went well. I took it as a my 1 year warranty is expiring.Inspection itself did not uncover any potential problem. If you buy a old home probably this might be good. For 1 year warranty services i did not find this much helpful since major nothing was uncovered. Felt its bit expensive since other companies were ready to provide Infrared camera for 50 $ less and Axium was almost 400 bucks with no infrared. I was also not happy with experience of Marc. nothing against Marc, but a more experienced person might have uncovered something else as well. Also call center person when asked how experienced my inspector is when he scheduled had no idea about it. I felt that was extremely careless answer. Marc was good enough. Previous: Axiom signed me up for a lot of services I did not ask for. I am getting emails, texts and calls from other companies offering other services. Not exactly easy to get off these lists, no unsubscribe links in the emails. Not good business practices. I had inspection Yesterday at noon. I have yet to read the report. I will edit this review only after they take me off the list for all those unwanted services for which i was not told when i scheduled appointment with them, Else i would given some useless email of mine which has lots of junk and i would not have cared.

Here s some feedback from the seller s side. I am selling a house and the buyers selected Axium to come perform the inspection. I was very disappointed to come back into my home after the inspector had been here to find several items had been moved and not returned to their proper place, many lights were left on, and the crawl space door was even left wide open. That alone was disappointing. Now this morning I notice that my sprinklers came on at a very odd time and I discovered that the sprinkler system settings had been permanently changed and the sprinklers aren t performing properly. I can t even figure out how to fix the problem either. I support and understand testing the system but think it s unprofessional and not their right to completely change the settings permanently.
Felt the Inspector was rushed and didn't communicate to the Buyer much about the property. Not even a recap. Buyer wasn't happy.
Detailed report (122 pages) complete with photographs. I was not able to attend the inspection personally but the inspector took time to walk through the results with me over the phone and answer any questions I had.

Your better off having a preschool class to inspect your home! They hire people off the street, train them, and call them certified! Hire a liscened electrician, plumber, and general contractor to inspect your home, only years of experience in these fields will give you definitive answers about your home. Inspectors should know building codes and how everything works. Axium left all of the windows unlocked, and two open in 35 degree weather. When I called them and complained, they admitted the inspector didn't know how they worked! And that their inspectors don't know building codes! What else didn't he know? Call that an inspector? We left 3 major code violations, and Axium didn't find any of them. But they found a12 inch seam around a window that needed caulking! Very impressive! Since this posting, I recieved a threatening phone call from the owner. 4 days later, I found inspection plates left off my boiler and water heater, also my garage door was squeaking, I found that the lock had been engaged and not returned, which caused the door to eventually jam and not open or close properly. For me it was a simple fix, but for someone else they would probably not be able to figure it out, and call a repair man.
We are in the process of purchasing our first home. Beau Beyer was thorough, but also took the time to explain his findings during the inspection. We have been quite pleased with Axium services!

Wanted to share an update that we discovered after moving in that our water pipes freeze. We looked in our crawl space and there was clear signs the previous owners tried to burn thr pipes to melt them and had extra insulation around them. I was disappointed our home inspection didn't point that out. Bobby did our inspection before we purchased our new home. We didnt call to go over the report but he was very thorough. He even pointed out little things I wouldn't have though of, like cracks in the driveway. Thanks Bobby!
As a realtor, I was pleasantly surprised with Jim's work. He was incredible. He had a trainee with him, but I don't think it slowed him down at all. He was focused, knowledgeable and had quite a few insights.

Excellent service, highly recommended. They were extremely detailed, looked, noted and documented with pictures everything possible from all major items, appliances, roof, crawl space down to minute details such as dings on walls, sinks missing a spot of porcelain and missing screws on wall outlets. Report was over 100 pages, I would never hire anyone else if buying in Denver.

They were on time. But thier service went way above and beyond what eas expected. We used Jason B. from the Springs. He is very knowledgeable, professional and was alot more thurough than I expected. He even called us as he was leaving to share some concerns which he did not have to do. He saved us alot of money and time in the end. This is my 3rd inspection this year and I will only use Axium (and Jason if we can get him) as thier office scheduling staff is always helpful, curteous and plesant to work with. They send everything online to pay and to view the inspection which makes it super convenient. To add, they gave me a super competitive price and a discount on my 3rd inspection. Can not say enough good things about them as a company as a whole. You don't get customer focused care like this anymore even though customer care is a commonly used idea; they make the idea a reality! Great job Axium!

Sean did the home inspection for us and was great. Very knowledgeable and thorough, I would highly recommend him. I would give him five stars, but the radon and sewer guy left quite a lot to be desired, so four overall. I would suggest going with another company for those services.

My recent home inspection with Axium Inspections couldn't have gone any smoother! The inspector, Jeff Krause, was on time, thorough, professional, and knowledgeable! He answered all of my questions, walked me through the entire inspection, and took time to explain his findings. I received a detailed report, including pictures, which documented all findings and was easy to read, even as someone who doesn't know a lot about building materials, electrical, heating/cooling systems, etc... The report was sent via email to me the next morning and my inspection was at 4:00 pm the previous day. I was nervous about the inspection and didn't know what to expect but Jeff Krause and Axium made this so easy and helpful for me! I learned a lot and feel confident about my home!
