Flexibility and great service
This has been my garage for years. Before that I changed garage every 2 years because there was always something. I've been a customer for 16 years. The great thing is: even if something does not go well, Autoweerd provides a solution. They are flexible and provide a great service. The car rental is easy and SUPER cheap. A must for everyone!
I have only good experiences and I recommend the garage wholeheartedly. First rented cars for a longer period and then bought a car at this garage. Reliable, fun and helpful staff. They think along and are flexible. Very good help by Fred with the purchase of my car. Nothing was too much for him. Hats off!

This place swapped out my lug nuts with rusty ones when they replaced my tires. Do not go here. I only noticed it about a week after when I looked at a photo of my car from right before it went in. No rust on the lug nuts. Now only my front tires (which they replaced) have rusted bolts.
Other than that they were nice enough. This made me sad. Maybe it was an accident?
Car taken for the first time to the Utrecht trade garage for an annual service. Several points were downright sloppy and amateurish:
- Blown fuse at the last minute, preventing me from taking the car
- no replacement car offered
- part that had been replaced, not properly fastened so that I could return within a week
- a much higher mileage is noted in the maintenance booklet than actually
- invoice is incomplete and unclear
Two stars in the end due to the service after it went wrong. Catered for with a vacuumed out car and chocolate. Unfortunately a bitter aftertaste.
I have been a satisfied customer for more than 20 years. The service is good and I have confidence in the workmanship of garage Autoweerd. They always give a quote in advance, so that you are not faced with surprises. Nor do they go straight for the big money, which I find so attractive.

The regular garages such as the Kwik and Profile did not know what to do with my car after the first MOT did not go well: a disapproval.
A repair would cost at least 600 euros. Because I did not trust it, I started looking further. I first came to this garage via the internet (and then through confirmation from friends). What a luck! These men (and / or women?) Have done everything possible to get the cart inspected again. They succeeded, and for almost half the money: 350 euros.
The telephone feedback was also good, a clear story of what was done and what was wrong, also for the layman (me) to understand.
Quite a difference with the average surly employee who I was allowed to do in other garages.
I am very happy and know where I can send my friends / acquaintances and family from now on. Of course I will come back myself.

Top garage! Just picked up my Peugeot, which was 'written off' at the fast fitter due to high MOT costs, more than 1200, -. Now at Autoweerd for 430, - my car is fine again! And before the expiry date. Completely happy with it :-)

Recently rented a car several times from Autoweerd. I was warmly welcomed and every time the car was clean and tidy, and could drive away immediately. I will definitely come more often!
Last thing you want on a holiday is a broken down car. A problem with the alternator was solved at a reasonable price and professional service.
Very friendly, however I don't rent a car from these nice people because I couldn't show any credit. The credit card is required for the deposit of 600. My Gazelle E-biKe Nw. Value 2800, - was rightly rejected as a deposit. The owner v.d. Vakgarage gave me the tip, try it at Sixt, they will do without it. credit card. For your information I could not rent a car either. A disappointing day for me ..

Highly recommended. This garage is professional, cooperative and not only focused on the car, but above all on the customer. And you don't see that much anymore. Our entire fleet (now 1) is and will remain in maintenance here. It is the people here who make the difference.
EXPENSIVE! and not professional. have it read and diagnosed, 80 euros. 3 ignition coils need to be replaced; 350 euros in total (incl 80). I want to replace 1 ignition coil because the car only cost me 500 euros, I run the risk: 270 euros and if I choose to replace 1 ignition coil I get "no warranty". NO GUARANTEE? and where is the manufacturer's warranty then? nice try...
besides. the car was just running; without a working ignition coil (because I have 3) the car will not drive. I only had 1 ignition coil broken. if you have a broken socket in your house, you are not going to replace all sockets.
the plugs of the other two ignition coils were a bit loose, that's right. but that's not the problem I need you for. those plugs that still work and can be secured with a tire rip.
For several years I have been coming to Vakgarage Autoweerd with my car for MOT and repairs. They have already helped me a few times, think along and provide reliable advice.

A good garage with a good price is recommended for everyone
Went to the garage on Friday afternoon with a car that was not driving well. Despite the awkward time just before the weekend, it was immediately looked at. When the problem was found, they showed what was going on and - very transparently - they showed which parts had to be replaced (incl. Price). They immediately called whether the parts could be delivered immediately. The same afternoon the car was already repaired. Great service!
Not the cheapest garage, but correct, friendly and honest service, and that is worth something to me personally. Recommended for me.
That helped quickly, dare to charge me 25 euros for a readout of 5 minutes, where nothing is clear ..... At the opticians I also check my eyes for free

Very neat, expert garage. You will immediately notice how you are helped by the fact that it is a professional garage. By means of a clear conversation, without all kinds of jargon, it is indicated what to expect. Nothing more, nothing less. I bring my car here every year for (major) maintenance, but Auto Weerd can also help you with configurations of your rims, tires, etc. Even after a check of new tires, I went back for a double check (free of charge) where the car is also immediately washed and vacuumed. What service. Highly recommended as a garage in the city center of Utrecht, very reliable and very helpful. Every time again: the 5 star rating is well worth it.

This garage had a good name, so I take my car to Autoweerd for MOT.
Car had problem with the brakes, diagnosis cost 80! However, they had not told me that it would be charged.
I told them that I did not want to pay that 80 euros, I got the answer that I DON'T RECEIVE MY CAR !!
Therefore, the rear brakes but made for 170, but was not good, car was still not by MOT.
So almost 200 euros wasted and nothing further advanced, I am now going to another garage to fix it.
Great maintenance, good help / advice and clear communication.
I am very disappointed with this garage, once but never again.
They propose to check something, but do not say that 80 euros will be charged. That was a very nasty surprise. No discussion possible. They said if you do not pay, they will keep the car under lock and key, so you basically have no more choice than to pay .. Hourly wages are no less than 90.75 euros incl VAT.

Despite the pressure, the garage was able to schedule an appointment for me the next day after telephone contact for a purchase inspection (super happy). But after this inspection was completed I got a list that everything was okay with 2 points after. But after the purchase, I later found out that there were several flaws that I was not told.

Excellent garage with surprisingly good service. My Alfa Romeo 159 has been here for a major overhaul, timing belt and MOT. During the entire process I was kept very pleasant and very neatly informed about the entire process. I was even offered a free loan car because they needed a little more time (there was a bit more to replace than I had anticipated). Finally, I was offered the bill, that shocked me .. What a (h) fair price! Don't get me wrong, it was still a large amount ... but compared to other companies you simply end up cheaper at Autoweerd. I used to go to Euromaster for all my maintenance, but that is now a thing of the past. You have a new loyal customer!

Paid a lot for the repairs twice. The costs at my old garage were more than 30% cheaper. At MOT they indicated repairs with high costs, assuming that it would take more work without actually having done research.
When I asked for an explanation, I was not treated very seriously.
Very quick and efficient. I was well informed throughout the whole process and the staff were very friendly.
I have a preference for old cars. Just because I think there is more character in it. Cars used to be unique. The disadvantage is that there is more often something wrong. I have never had a permanent garage. Because I couldn't find the right one. I often went to several garages to have the car checked. Prices and advice varied enormously. Except at Autoweerd. Always sincere interest in the problem, they always look for the right solution, both financially and qualitatively. It will be resolved. Ready. Add to that a pick-up and return service and aftercare. At a fair price. I seriously don't know a better garage in Utrecht and surroundings.

Last week we visited Autoweerd for some maintenance. Found out that it was more than expected, but the gentlemen behind the desk explained everything neatly and thought along with me. Because of this it was not so bad in the end and I could quickly hit the street again! It's great that everyone has helped!
Repairs are done well at a decent price. The downside is that it is 'too tight'. I come for a fan and ask to have a look at an indicator light. That does not happen because it is not on the order form. I had to go on a bloody family holiday without air conditioning because no time (1 hour) was reserved for the repair in advance. Pfftt, that put a damper on the holiday ... But staff is friendly and quality is good. Now a bit of flexibility ...
Recently my fiat punto in maintenance at this garage. I've already had some complications, but they were resolved within a day. Was able to drive in for my lights this week. Top garage!

I have been servicing my car here for about 5 years now. All very professional. Yes you pay a little more, but it is also a trade garage. I'd rather spend a little more money on real expertise, and you'll definitely find it here. Loan bicycles are also useful. You must make appointments for maintenance well in advance, 3-4 weeks.
problem with my lock, solved quickly and for free (!). The mechanic has injected some oil into it and now it is working again, at least temporarily. If the weather does not go well then I know where I am going.

Today I tried out car weather on the advice of a colleague garage. Once and never again.
At my old garage I had spent less than 60 euros for 3 new spark plugs and 1 new ignition coil. Here, however, you have already lost 115 euros for only 3 spark plugs of 9.45 each (the price I had asked for before he wanted to put them in, indicating that I could not spend too much). He then put in an ignition coil for almost 120 euros. So I would have lost 235 euros for an ignition coil and 3 spark plugs, something I could not miss at all. I indicate this, then only angry looks, the new ignition coil is taken out angrily and some extra labor is charged and the folding sign is thrown on the counter without even looking at me. Something that took a total of 20 minutes, is counted as an hour's wages. In addition, 35 euros is charged for reading your car ...
Clear how this garage makes its money, to the rich, I think. Transparency about the price only comes with payment when you can hardly go back. The only transparency I got before anything was done was when I asked myself how much the spark plugs cost given that 3 had to be put in.
We rented a car from Vakgarage Autoweerd for the months of January and February 2016. The car was fine and the price was very reasonable. In addition, contact was extremely friendly and pleasant, both in advance by email and on delivery and handing in. Car weather a must also for car rental.
Had our air conditioning repaired here last week. Because of the good reviews I had contact with Vakgarage Autoweerd and discussed our problem. Very nice to experience what a garage should be like. Clear agreements, proactive and professional. My feeling was confirmed when the car was picked up. Neatly delivered, protective cover on the seat and steering wheel were removed and the car rinsed and cleaned inside! This makes me happy. I take good care of our 11 year old car, Autoweerd too !!! Top!!
Unfortunately, not a pleasant experience. We had our car (small japannertje) brought for a big turn. Then we were told that the radiator was leaking and had to be replaced. Ok, so be it. Total costs were almost 600 and I think that for a large turn plus a radiator replaced for this type of (small) car pretty spicy. When I then asked when I picked up the car whether I could see the old radiator for a moment to see where it was sitting, it was said that it had already been thrown away. Not neat and not transparent towards the customer!
Then when I asked if it was all right and the leak was solved I was only told "yes for now, but we can not guarantee anything"
Quite an uninterested, meaningless answer ...
Given the many positive reviews on this garage, I really expected a more customer-friendly service level ... and especially for this price! I did not feel valued and taken seriously as a customer. Disappointing.
Edit: Meanwhile, the garage has called me. Glad they take their reviews seriously. My first (disappointed) feeling is not removed, but I certainly appreciate the effort they take to make a phone call.

Efficient service at a reasonable price.
Took my car here to get the bobines replaced, they did exactly what I asked for, no surprises, no extra charges. It was even cheaper than other places, and also worked fast to get the repair done in 1.5 days.
The staff is friendly and made the effort to communicate in English which I appreciate very much. Highly recommended car garage!
Friendly and nice staff. I passed without an appointment because my brakes squeaked. They did a free brake check and service! My brakes were fine, but I'll definitely be back again.
