I love the clothes I find in this store but its dirty and disorganized compared to other locations. Also last weekend it was so packed I was nervous for my safety (corona-wise). They should really make sure people keep proper distance from one another, especially when the store is so busy and the lines are long.
I tried to sell my wife but they said they only accept "gently used items"
This new building is a disaster. A mess inside and very high prices for a Goodwill. I will opt to shop at other, better, more reasonable 2nd hand locations. Do yourself a favour and drive down Route 38 to the shoppe in Lumberton. A much better place. Or, drive west into Cherry Hill. Skip this place. Anywhere but here.
The place itself is nice but if you're looking for cheap, cool stuff don't come here. They have dollar store items but are selling it for more. Careful shopping at this one, the prices are a bit high for a Goodwill.

This store used to be a great place to treasure hunt . Well there was a lot of merchandise it was at least played fairly neatly and cleanly on the shelves as were the books. The prices were great, fair and reasonable and the staff is always friendly and courteous. My understanding was that the Goodwill stores were supposed to be nonprofit and to benefit education of the disabled. So it always seem to be a win-win situation to be able to shop there and also feel like the money was going towards a great cause So it always seem to be a win-win situation to be able to shop there and also feel like the money was going towards a great cause Now, there seems to be new management after the pandemic crisis and all of the prices seem to Have doubled, tripled, or more. Most of the items are just strewn randomly all over the place in parts and pieces. Many of the items are also priced above what I could purchase them for on Amazon or eBay which is absolutely ridiculous.
Each and every time I am in there I hear a multitude of people complaining and grumbling about the pricing and many people walk out with half the items they would normally walk out with including me It s a shame and I wish the manager would consider replacing these items and having someone try to keep the store in a bit more order
The new store on Rt 73 & 38 is nice and clean, well laid out and you can get some great finds
I beg to differ on the last review. I shop at a lot of second hand stores and ever since they moved to this location, it has gone downhill. Although it is bigger, it seems dirtier and more disorganized. The stuff is just thrown on shelves in no rhyme or reason, glasses which are put in bags and taped up are half broken and nobody is cleaning them up. I don't think staff are trained to take care of the store. I think they would sell more dishes if they didn't tape them all together.
If your looking to spend more then retail on broken used stuff this is your place! Walked around in there for a half an hour couldnt find a single item worth what they were asking... Left drove down the road to Lumberton Goodwill where we proceeded to over fill a cart and spend $200.. Shame on you Maple Shade goodwill.. Worst Goodwill I've been to.. And I've been all over the COUNTRY..
I've been going to goodwill almost my whole life .
Eighter people aren't donating that much anymore , or the workers are taking the items that are in good shape home. As for the outlet in Belmawr nj , donated merchandise is just being destroyed everyday. It is awlful. I know a few employees that told me that they take the valuble items home frequently. They need a better overseer
I do love this goodwill store. Wish we could try things on as it can be costly of you guess wrong. Maybe if they let one person in every other stall. Can't wait to try the Bellmawr store.

New location is much larger but the furniture selection is awful. I was looking for a TV stand but every thing was junk. I bought some nice pieces at the old location so this was disappointing. But if your looking for clothes or housewares, they have a lot. Housewares don't seem to be as organized as the Cherry Hill location.
I was very disappointed with our visit last night. We were there last week and the store was clean and the dressing rooms looked great.There were employees asking if any one needed help and they were working hard.
Last night the dressing rooms were disgusting. They reek with a disgusting odor. You could not go in one of dressing rooms because the smell of body odor was so bad. Clothes were on the floor in piles and throw around everywhere. Clothes were spilling out of the dressing rooms. There were only 2 people working at cashier. They had no comment about how bad the dressing rooms were.
Was highly disappointed.

On the past ten years, Im this type of customers that loves visit every Goodwill store that I found on maps or on my way every time I can.
Im in love with the services and prices, not only I buy for me, I loves to help others that needed.
But this email its not about my past experiences with you guys( best until today)
I find out after couple trips on rute 73 the new locations that you guys have it. Old building still have the signs and its very confuse.
I stop today at the new store located on 2834 NJ-73, Maple Shade Township, NJ 08052, around 5:45PM, just need to see if you guys has some fixures for a donation to a family member that needs.
A lot of traffic of customers walking in on that time but seems that they turn around and leave the store. When I walk into the store a lady between the clothing aisles scream to me that "we're closed"(very unprofessional). I keep walking because I think that the person wasn't talking to me. This lady cross at front of my way and said that "Sir, we already closed", closed but what time you guys close on Sundays ( I ask her) she respond that at 6pm. Thats OK! Its 5:45pm so I have time to look around quickly I responded. This lady said NO SIR, YOU NEED TO LEAVE BECAUSE WE ALREADY CLOSED with an attitude. So I responded that if the door said to the public that you guys close at 6pm and the front door still open i can walk in, but because I just came to see something quick im going to walk in and walkout ASAP. I keep walking to find my treasure but find out that my wife try to walk behind me and the lady escort her outside.
I deside to leave the store but this same lady walked next to me with an attitude like she wants to hurt me. I deside to ask for a MOD, she said that she's the manager on duty. I ask for her name and she respond me that her supervisor was on the building and he will said the same of leaving the building.
I ask for her name again and she turn around on my face ignored me and walk out, I followed and ask for her supervisor name, she disappeared thru the aisles. I leave the place at 5:47pm.
This is the first time that a Goodwill store really made me angry and my opinion to the AD has to take knowledge of my experience to understand how this feel.
I desided to took my money to other places. Thank you.

This used to be a great store. Must have new store management as prices have skyrocketed. Not worth the time to go to anymore!

I saw a item with a 1.99 original price sticker when it was new, marked 3.99 by this goodwill. How can you mark something higher than a it s original retail price as a new item. The manager refused to lower the price. I should have contacted weights and measures. Customer service at this goodwill is non-existent in my opinion.

It is clean and looks good it's really nice and spacious and it smells so good. You would enjoy it you must go there and try it out.
Prices are very high for a thrift store! I do not recommend this place at all will not go back. Went over to boscovs right cross street and got new stuff at same cost if not lower...
It had a large selection of things to browse through. We were looking for a vase and we found exactly what I wanted. We also found a lovely flower arrangement and my husband found a few summer tops. We will definitely go there again. It didn't have any figurines that I collect, however. Maybe next time.
What everyone else is saying... the store over charges for items. The same items I'll find at other goodwill stores for half the price. It's also a hot mess
Super messy, prices are a bit high, very little order as to where things should be, nothing of real value unless maybe you're looking for clothes. It's almost like they put out every little thing that gets donated, so theres a lot of pushing through almost literal trash to see if there's anything of interest.

They have a lot of stuff to choose from but surprisingly a little high price for used items. Case in point a butter dish. It was price at over $6 when I can get one at Walmart for about a dollar less brand new. But other items were worth the price so I guess it's depending on when you go and what they have
The manager is very unprofessional the way she talks to the customers and look down on people. I asked a simple question about a item that had the original tag which was $15.49 the goodwill over priced the item for $25.39 ! I ask can I buy the coat for the original price, she looked at me and rudely replied no . Items that are not marked she raised the price high to high for a second hand store . They employees put the items they re taking aside so they can take when the exit of duty. The manager the woman with the orange/blond hair is the worst . They stealing money and items from the people in need. This pls e need to be overlooked 7/16/2020
I love shopping at Goodwill. They run specials at this Goodwill on Sundays so it's a lot of fun searching out those bargain colored tags. I purchased clothing and housewares. It can get very busy at times with a long line but I went a little later today and missed the rush. I strongly recommend shopping at Goodwill.
I bought a whole name brand in style outfit tonight including shoes.
Goodwill always has a variety of high quality items and extremely discounted prices. Give yourself an upgrade and get on over to Goodwill. You'll be happy you came!!
For a Goodwill store it's surprisingly well stocked. Good selection of clothes, movies and home goods. Larger store with a small store attitude. Check it out, you won't be sorry.
I just want to add this to my post. I found a Ralph Lauren sweater, with the store tags still it. It retailed for $90 and I bought for $9.99 at this Goodwill.
This is the best Goodwill I have been to! I m not worried about the prices being too high. They we priced right for brand new sweaters and sweaters hardly worn. Everything was separated by size and I really found a lot for Winter, which is what I m looking for now. Kudos to the workers, they too, were very nice. I m definitely returning to this Goodwill location!!
Bought a large cabinet and left it there to get my truck, by the time we came back, the cashier we bought it from sold it to another customer within the hour. Bill will sell your stuff if you leave it and not get in trouble. Don't bother with this store.
The most chaotic, disorganized Goodwill I have ever been to, and I've visited the vast majority of the region's Goodwills.
However, that's not necessarily a bad thing if you're into picking through pilled up junk. Like other Goodwills, a lot of the miscellaneous junk is overpriced. Piles of bags and tangled miscellany in shelves is hard to go through. It also uses way too much air freshener that can trigger allergies.
On a positive note, this store is spacious.
