Autonation Toyota Thornton Road Review

I went to autonation looking for a 4Runner 4x4. After looking at 4 other dealerships, I found the one I was looking forward. Barry Henry was amazing throughout the entire process. He walked us through the various 4runners on the lot and the options. He never pressured us and made my first new car buying experience easy and stress free. Even the finance guy, Will, helped us decide what warranty and protection packages we needed and walked us quickly and efficiently through the process. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish and love my new 4Runner. If you need a new Toyota, I highly recommend them.

I will never bring my car for servicing here again. I was told I needed front and rear brakes because both pads were showing less than 2 milligrams of depth left. I brought it to a reputable place and was told front brake pads needed repair but rear had over 50% of pad left. There's one reason why people don't bring their cars to dealers for repairs.

First, the employees were very courteous once they decided to ask me if I needed help. I saw five employees sitting at their desk staring into space. To be fair they may have been waiting for something specific. I was in for the initial 5,000 mile check. I waited for two hours for a tire rotation. The dealership was busy but two hours for just tire rotation was excessive. My next visit will be for an oil change. I cannot imagine how long that may take. The maintenance is free of charge to me, but MY time is valuable to me as well.

I found a truck listed on the dealerships website, I was told it was available for the price listed on website. I made an appointment to come in the next day to see and drive the truck. I received a phone call shortly after from salesperson confirming appointment time and price of truck, they even texted me several pictures. I got up next day and logged on website and the truck had increased in price by 2,190.I called and asked about price difference, I told them I had screenshot of dealership website of lower price and was told I would be ok and to bring that proof. We get to dealership and find out we can t even drive the truck because it hadn t been processed in yet. The salesman told us there was a change in price and manager would be over to talk to us, I told them we wouldn t pay more than price I seen and the salesman told us the manager could not give us that price. The salesperson, Curtis was great, but the manager didn t even have the decency to come talk with us. Very poor on their part, they advertise no haggle price but raise the price of their vehicle overnight and I wasn t told the lower price was only good for that day. Cant recommend this dealership at all

Everyone at this dealership made my car buying experience exceptional! My sales person Chris Brown was waiting for me outside the dealership when I walked into the dealership. He was patient and not overly aggressive in assisting me in choosing the right car for me (in my price range). Chris and Solomon (Finance Director) were extremely helpful in finalizing the purchase to my satisfaction. Chris delivered my car to my home the next day! I had a very positive and warm customer experience at this dealership. I would definitely recommend the Toyota dealership in Lithia Springs, GA for your next car purchase.

I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. Customer service is terrible and tell lies to get you to cosign for someone. Never gets back with you in a timely manner.

Very poor customer care. Long waiting hours for prior appointments and incorrect billing too.

Just bought a used car from them- was smooth sailing, very friendly.
Would have been 5 stars had they detailed the new car as we were in paperwork... instead, we drove home with a dirty car. I do have in writing that they will bring me a loner car as they do detail as we are in Woodstock- just wish they would have cleaned it prior so we could be done.

UPDATE: They brought me a loner and took my car for it to be detailed. Missed a few things... don t know how since they had the thing for two days. Anyways- it s cleaner than it was!

Kevin Echols in the internet department was very kind and helpful. He went above and beyond to put me in my new car. In addition, I did not have to spend hours waiting around at the dealership. It was a pretty pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend Kevin Echols and the AutoNation team on Thornton road for anyone who is looking for a new car.

Bought a car from them two days after I make the first month payment it breaks making ah everyday left turn to work and now they not holding up to they 90 day warranty and fixing my car and now I don't have a car going to lose my job and they don't care so get a car somewhere else!!!! please they will ruin your life!!!

Chris Brown was friendly, honest, effiencient and informative. I will recommend people based on having a great experience. I believe this dealership is concerned with taking care of the customers which create sales, and not trying to creating sales which can lead to a loss of customers.

I really appreciated the help Ricky gave me when I brought our Rav 4 in for servicing. He took time to check what needed to be done and explained it to me. After the car was finished he explained what they had done and that I had one more free tire rotation. I appreciate the awesome service!

Can't do paper work correctly especially living outta state. Want me to make a car payment then cover 1400 in sales tax that should of bee n in contract. No one willing to help. Saying I have to eat the cost.

Got my corolla 15K service done. Superb ambience for waiting with outside benches. Service Manager Daniel helped to get the service done with peace of mind. Overall great experience.

While I thought Chris Brown was a bit pushy in calling me and demanding a time for me to come in, I am grateful I landed with Angela once I got to the store.

Angela was very patient in my indecisiveness in which vehicle I wanted to test drive. She was helpful in listening to my needs and helping me narrow my search.

I am a college student who interns about 45 minute to an hour from campus. My old Mazda finally died on me and I needed to find a car to finance ASAP. Despite other dealerships and even my bank having issues getting me financing, this dealership was able to figure something out that worked for me and had me driving off the lot that day. My salesman was Edgar, who I can only describe as knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. Edgar and this dealership as a whole are the exact opposite of the stereotypical sleazy, lying car salesmen. I would without question recommend shopping with Autonation.

Mamadu has very good personality, great customer service, excellent communication, very informative and knowledgeable about the cars. He did give me great advise which helped me make good decision about the car that I eventually ended up buying. I highly recommend Mamadu and I will definitely use him again for my future purchase.

it was seemless and with no pressure, Jackie Njucke has got to be one of the best salespersons I have come across, there was absolutely no pressure none I mean nothing she showed me what I wanted and gave me options and we went on several test drives to really give me a feel of the product. I got the financing that I wanted thank you Gary and walked/drove away very happy. I decided on the Toyota Corolla 2017 model.

I bought a 2015 Toyota 4runner and out of all the cars that I have purchased this is one of the best and exciting time ever for me. My salesman Lou Bernier was awesome he made sure everything went as smooth as possible for me , he was not a pushy salesman at all which was what I loved the most after trying one vehicle out it was good but I knew it was not me so I let him know my next vehicle in line which was my 4runner, I test drove it and was very pleased with it and I m still very pleased with the choice I had made and anyone that tells me they looking to buy a vehicle yes i will for sure recommend them to go see Lou Bernier thanks Lou. #goseelou

I just recently purchased a 2017 Tacoma; my dream truck. I was very skeptical being that I didn't wish to "barter" concerning price. This feeling was quickly eased once I spoke to the staff at AutoNation Toyota Thornton Rd. They worked hard to located, obtain and deliver the truck I wanted; even better they found one I liked more. I highly recommend seeing the staff there; dealing with Junior, Winston and Solomon. They will get it done for you.

My car has been in service since last Thursday morning. Before I made the appt for service I confirmed that the parts would be in and completed before Monday and I was told they would be. I was supposed to pick up Monday morning. I called first to make sure it was ready before going to pick it up and I was told someone would call me with an update. End of the day....NO UPDATE. I ve had to have my husband call and get an update we ve been told parts aren t in and they haven t received my insurance payment. My car has been at the shop 5 days now and no one has said anything to us until we ve called numerous times. Completely unacceptable. I will drive out my way to another Autonation before I come back to this location.

My service advisor Corey was AWESOME!! He took the time to listen and take care of my issues. The kennesaw location could take some lessons on customer service from Corey and team!

Had my Toyota Avalon serviced yesterday and was extremely pleased with the quality and timeliness of service and the professionalism, courtesy, and helpfulness of Service Advisor D. Freeman, who kept me informed of the progress of the service and responded to my questions.

I took my RAV4 in today for my complimentary service and when I left I noticed a large crack in my windshield. I took it right back to the service center and showed the service advisor and two managers. I was told there was no way it was their fault and they basically argued with me. I had a mechanic friend look at it and he says it looks like someone popped the wiper blade down and busted it. After leaving a second time we placed a call for the general manager who has yet to return our call. DO NOT GO HERE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Everytime I show up without an appointment they say an hour and a half to 2 hours. If I call for an appointment I'm told I don't need an appointment. If I make an appointment and show up on time they say and hour and a half to 2 hours. My last visit the guy helping me new I was irritated and he did a great job making me feel better about the time but it still took and hour and fifteen minutes to put a patch in my tiresume and I had an appointment.

It was the first time taking my Camry there for brake job. After my car was serviced, something was not quiet right. Went back to the service man, the one who tells you what is wrong with your car/in charge of payments. He had an attitude, very angry man. I was just asking him a question for clarification on the service done, he got so angry like a maniac...bald head latino guy.

Very helpful and upfront pricing made the process much easier.

Bought '17 Camry XLE V6. Very pleasant buying process from quote to delivery of car. Nice people working at this dealership. Mr. Kevin Echols got best deal also Mr. Kevin Smith in sales including other personnel in sales and service department are very helpful and they did take care of me very well. Had a really good experience working with Auto Nation on Thorton Road! Everyone was very straightforward and honest, which I absolutely prefer compared to the "typical" car sales mantra. Great experience. Will Boyce was very consistent and everything he promised checked out in the end. The process was long as expected but he made it a successful one.

Purchased a 2019 Camry XSE. Saved Thousands. Took 12 days to receive the spare key for the vehicle. Some sales associates with little or no knowledge of what's going on. Management that doesn't return phone calls and miss deadlines they set themselves. Convenience isn't always best. However there were two sales associates who went out of their way to make it right. Breonna, Elizabeth along with the sales manager Lacy made it all possible. Thanks again

My car buying experience at AutoNation Toyota Thorton Road was made memorable by Jorge Gamboa and Matt Metts. Mr. Gamboa was very attentive to my specific want/need in the car I was looking to purchase. He answered all of my questions throughly. Mr. Metts, I believe was very opened and honest about the vehicle in question and the concerns that I had. A big shot out to Mr. Christian, one of the finance managers. He made me feel welcome and reassured during the process. I strongly recommend this dealership if you are in the market for a new or preowned vehicle

From my first email inquiry, the staff was very responsive in getting back to me with information. The vehicle I was interested in didn t have pictures loaded quite yet but Travis sent me some via text almost immediately. I never felt pressured throughout the experience. They worked with me and ultimately made a deal I was comfortable with. I left in my unicorn vehicle I had been searching for. On the way home I did notice a chip in the windshield (it was a used car) so I text the sales manager who set up the repair on his day off. I live about 45 min away so had the repair company come to me.

The service team is by far the most helpful I've worked with in 20 years.
They've prevented unnecessary repairs being done on my vehicle and done quick assessments of my issues without expense. As long as I have a Toyota I will be a loyal client.

I implore you to read this article if you're thinking of purchasing a vehicle from AutoNation//Thornton road! I went in today to purchase a vehicle that is listed on their website as $14,888. I get there and they try to add additional document and dealer fees (not the AVT). When I brought it to salesman Donald Smith's attention that he was engaging in an illegal practice, he proceeds to tell me that they only had one at that price and they sold it to the day prior. This is also illegal advertising!!! Per the state of Georgia's website, they must have enough on stock to meet consumer demand or label the advertisement as "quantities limited". DO NOT LET THIS DEALERSHIP TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!! If you've bought a car there and DID pay these fees, go to them and ask for them back! I also encourage you to file deceptive business practice and fraudulent advertising claims against them with the Governor's Office of Consumer affairs as well as the BBB, also notify the media outlets and review on Goggle, Yelp, etc like I have!

Good service rep who was so kind and addressed my needs and questions

Service was great and service tech took care of all my concerns, she exceeded my expectations.

The last service visit was very frustrating. I came to get an oil change and attendant reminded me that there was a service recall on my 2019 Toyota Tacoma. He said it would take 2.5 hours to replace and that he had the part in stock. I was not planning to spend that long getting my vehicle serviced, but figured It would to save a future trip.

I waited the 2.5 hours in the waiting room until I saw my car being parked out front. I went in the back and had the attendant paged. When he arrived to check me out, he told me that the recall repair was not completed because they did not have the part after all. So I waited 2.5 hours for an oil change that should have taken an hour or less. I also now have to make a separate trip for the recall repair.

I don t feel like my time was valued.

My experience with AutoNation was Outstanding especially working with my salesman Gary Escoto, to complete the deal to purchase my 2015 Tacoma and his responsiveness to my follow-up requests after the sell. I can not say enough good things about Gary and I would recommend AutoNation to my friends.

Managers could be more polite than they are now. Arrogant!

Lamin was Awesome! With a challenge credit score, Lamin still worked out a perfect deal that left me very satisfied and honored to be a customer of Toyota Autonation. I would recommend anyone interest in purchasing a Toyota Lamin is your guy to see.

I had my Camry towed to AutoNation because it was the closest dealership. They gave me an incorrect diagnosis and then when I asked them to look at it again they told me I needed a new motor. Which I thought from the beginning. I called at least 3 times to have them email me my trade in value and cash value, along with the full diagnosis details. I never received it...I just ended up having a different dealership pick the car up

A truly wonderful experience at this dealership. Everyone was very helpful and willing to go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant and smooth transaction. The level of exceptional service I received should be an industry standard.
I am looking forward to going back there when I need another car.

High pressure sales environment. For some reason the salesperson made us speak with a manager before we could leave the lot without taking a test drive. Just leave me alone and let me look at cars ffs.

I pre-applied for financing and then spoke with a sales manager to let them know what I required to buy. They said there would be no problems and then made me an offer 7% APR above my current rate which I declined. Then they offered me a rate 3% over. I thanked the sales person, declined and left. I received an email the next day with a message that maybe I need "to do a little research" on interest rates. Very rude and lacking professionalism. I would not recommend.

Well this is the second time I have bought a vehicle from AutoNation on Thornton road and both time they was good to me and if I ever by another vehicle it will be from there.

Sorry, you had one chance, and your estimator person did not wish to contact your corporate office to get me my payoff approved for my 2019 civic. He referred to the appraisal system as the only means of pricing out my car. I will not try to purchase a vehicle again from your business, certainly not happy with the way you observe and value trade in cars. Still, have a great day.

Thankful for the great help from Zanobia and her manager. I didn't intend to go through such a quick and easy process in purchasing a new car but they made sure all my needs were met, including the color of the car. All features were discussed in detail and even a few were practicedoing on the test drive. The family is overly excited and I'm elated to have a safe car to travel with. Thanks again

The service here is great. Very friendly, responsive, and finished up my oil change w/ rotate and balance quickly. They also provided lunch for the people in the waiting room. I would definitely recommend.

My service advisor Cecilia Thompson provided great service and got me in and out within 1 1/2 hours. Price was the quoted price and there were not surprises.
