Sunday Brunch with the girls, was amazing! $2.50 Bloody Mary's. I had the Elvis Pancakes with a yummy peanut butter sauce. The waffles with chocolate topping seemed to be very popular. It's a happening little place! Get there early, or you will have to wait. Limited seating.
I really wouldn't eat here again. Silverware was dirty, and when I got to the bottom of my glass I discovered that it, too, was dirty. Food was ... Okay. Good flavors, mostly. Service was good from everyone but our server. Just overall didn't impress. Also a 2.5% fee on credit card transactions is hooey.

Drinks were great. Bartender had the disposition of a lump. She was more interested in entertaining/talking to the servers than being involved in any conversation with the patrons.

You walk into a beautiful room. Stunning wood and brick. Hostess greets you immediately and you are seated. From then it gets weird. The waiter brings you the menus. Then he brings water and wants to know if you are ready to order; two minutes . . tops! You order a cocktail and watch the frowning bartender ask other staff how to make your drink. The drink arrives and your companion, who didn't order a drink, is asked if he wants one now. You were told, by the way, that there is a Friday night steak special . . .the waiter has no idea what you are talking about and has to ask someone else. As you finally order, you inquire as to if there are some vegetable options included . . waiter is confused again. Oh, and, you are beginning to get worried because it is 7:30, on a Friday and you are only one of two tables in the restaurant, but you have come there because the food reviews are really good. (Service not so good. Understand that now.) Food arrives quickly, delivered by the manager. It is fantastic. Tender brisket on a bed of mac and cheese. Absolutely delicious. Great meal. Would have enjoyed some type of vegetable offering. Would have enjoyed not being in a really weird group of staff. Oh, and, the smiling hostess barely addresses you as you leave. No smile, no thanks . . .creepy.
Loved Chico the bartender. Jewel the manager was very active and nice.

Went here because my friends raved about it, but I wasn't that impressed. The food is good, but the portions were kind of lacking. The service was pretty awful. Our server continually forgot our orders and seemed really out of it. I wanted to order more drinks (their mimosas and bloody Mary's are rather big for the price), but he took over 20 mins to get us our drinks in the first place.
Not impressed. Wait staff not interested in serving customers. Brunch is offered from 11-3 online, on menus and on banner in front on restaurant however, once seated after a 30 minute wait with 4 empty tables we were told brunch ended at 2 because they were trying something new. Try another restaurant.

I love the food here, and I go as often as I can for martini Monday. They have amazing martinis, and a great selection. Their meals are amazing and just enough to fill you up. The desserts are to die for. I love bringing my friends from out of town here. The small plates are expensive, but if I go in Martni Monday it isn't as bad with the drinks being on sale. They also have the best guitarist / singer in there quite often.

Not a good breakfast place for food for me came luke warm cold. Chessey grits were very good. Mimmosa and bloody mary special draws them in. Noisy...great location if you want to try it yourself. Has some waffke pancake specialties. Staff was nice. Usually has a wait. Walk to from many hotels.

This was my second time going, the first time the food was great. This time the food was very bland, the blackened salmon didn't have any taste, the spinach and hollandaise sauce didn't have any salt. My red velvet pacakes did not taste like red velvet they were just red. My BFF didn't like her food either. The kids liked the oreo pancakes. I won't be going back for a long time.
My food was good. Everybody else's came out cold (they all ordered the same thing: chicken and waffles). The best part of the while ordeal was the 100 oz mimosas tower! The hostess was rude and cursing (she was fired in the spot). So the visit went down hill from there. Our waitress was slow. We never got water refills. We had to ask for silver ware. When we complained to the manager, he was snappy, rude, and unprofessional. He actually asked us if we still wanted the food we sent back and WALKED AWAY, before we could even answer...smh. Needless to say, we did not pay for any of our food. I might go back if the management changes and the servers are better, as I've heard great things about this spot

Nice place. Great atmosphere. Awesome staff. And they serve Mimosas and Bloody Marys on Sundays BEFORE 11 a.m.!!! A big plus in my book. Definitely coming back again the next time I'm in Memphis.
My experience was great! Food was phenomenal, service was wondrful, and my 3.50 mimosas were the cherry on top.
Also, that guy that complained about the bartender who complained about not getting tipped enough, 20 percent of 63 is 12.6 dls, don't be an ass, tip your waitress and and bartenders what they deserve. Moreover, don't make yourself out to be this highly righteous person, yes the bartender should have never made a comment on the tip to begin with, but come on bro, automatic slims is kind of pricey, you brought your out of town guest there to show off Memphis, I'm assuming tipping the extra 4 dollars wanting going to break your bank, your just a cheapskate at heart. Next time just go to an "establishment" that doesn't doesn't have people who serve on you. Everyone's problem is solved.
Fun place for brunch, they were busy when we went but we were seated quickly and food and drinks came at a timely manner. Lemon meringue waffles were fantastic!
My husband and I were traveling from Arkansas. We decided to stop at Slims because there was a long wait at Magestic Grill. When greeted by the host, she stated that stated that the wait was going to be 45 minutes. During our wait, serval tables were cleared off and the hostess did not seat anyone. Once we were seated (at a table that was cleared 20 minutes prior to seating us), Our water glasses were not clean. I ordered the banana foster French toast and husband ordered chicken and waffles. The table next to us ordered after us and received food before us and finished eating before we received our food. When we notified the waiter, he responded unprofessionally. Once we recieved our food it was cold and not made how we ordered it. The chicken was bland and dry and the waffles were tough. My husband ending up sending it back and ordered plain pancakes. Overall our experience was not a good one!
Very friendly staff. Salmon benedict was a religious exoerience! Spicy Bloody Mary's...amazing! Our server Cassidy was both charming and knowledgeable, what a gem!

I am giving this place 4 stars because everyone in my group enjoyed their food. We ordered the chicks and waffles, cheese sandwich and French toast. I personally had the chicken and waffles and the chicken was well seasoned.
We went on a Sunday and the service was very slow. They even started turning people a way. They hold tables an hour and a half before the reserved party arrives so that slows them down. Also, Jazzy, our waitress, never came to our table unless we called her over, which also slowed down our visit.
Though I enjoyed my chicken and the potatoe hash, my waffles were cold. But over all good food.
The place is really cute, but small.
They have a 100 oz mimosa bong for $34 and if you're in a group of 3+, it's perfect. We met some locals here and everyone was nice, accommodating, and fun! I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for something enjoyable and friendly with plenty of good drink.
Saturday brunch with my brother while I was in town visiting him. I was between pancakes and the blackened salmon eggs Benedict. Our waitress highly recommended the salmon benedict. I was not steered wrongly! Wow! The salmon, sauteed spinach, eggs and hollandaise worked perfectly together. One egg was a little more well done than I typically like - no runny yolk. I got a side of hash browns to go with my Benedict and wound up dipping them into the left over sauce on my benedict plate! Mimosas were good and unbeatable price at $2.50. Would highly recommend a stop and try the blackened salmon eggs benedict!
There was a large piece of shell in our eggs and the Eggs Benedict were really over cooked. Also, they charged an extra 2.5% for using a credit card, and didn't tell us that before hand. I would have used cash or a debit card had I known. Also, there's no free parking and they don't validate parking.
Brunch is amazing! Great brunch menu. This is a very busy place for brunch so be prepared to wait! Beautiful venue!

The good news:
My wife and I went for dinner before the Brit Floyd concert. She loves the Georgia Peach martinis. I like the beer selection. They have upgraded the menu from mostly sandwiches to some strong entrees. The crab cakes and the shrimp and grits are excellent.
The bad news:
When we walked in, a loud group of about 10 were having drinks. After we ordered, several ugly looks from me didn t quiet them, and only spurred them to call me names. These people were 3 times louder than a party of 50 upstairs. The hostess and our waitress could see that we were not happy, and other parties were leaving early. Our waitress got the manager, Julianna, to speak to them, but it did no good. She came and spoke to us, but she said, I can t do any thing about it. I told her she could, but she just won t. Evidently, she prefers their business than to mine, and to others who don t like loud.
You ought to eat here, but if it s too loud for you, come back another time. Julianna won t do anything about it.
Well, the menu is slim for sure... slim pickins. But the food wasn t 1/2 bad. After I found a hair in it.
The up side to this place is the wait staff was pretty good. The management was pretty oblivious though. Now I remember why I rarely come here. :/ it s a shame too because the food really wasn t 1/2 bad!!!
The food and customer service was horrible. They didn t want to accommodate for the fact that the food was not cooked properly. The manager said the steak couldn t be made medium because it was too thin. The bananas in the banana foster were not cooked. The gravy in the biscuits and gravy didn t have sausage nor was it cooked properly. The male manager was very rude and didn t try to help us at all. This out of town experience was the worst!

The pictures looked great. But they don t actually serve food between 2 and 4. So we didn t get to eat. Which was sad. I wish it would have been advertised on their google listing before we planned. But we will try again.

Great food! Service was slow and unorganized (there didn't seem to be one set person assigned to the table). The quality of the food superseded the deficits in service. My family and I will definitely be returning. Just a hint: the Buffalo egg rolls are awesome--not too spicy but full of flavor.

My gf and I came here with high hopes for a great breakfast! Unfortunately, that was not the case. The restaurant was probably 3/4 full but most people were finishing their plates and leaving- I was expecting a quick turnaround but it was quite the opposite.
There were 3 tables around us that sat 15-20 minutes after we sat, they all got their food before us (we ordered two sides and crab Benedict). It took 1 hour and 18 minutes to get our food! Literally... Our waitress never apologized and didn't do us any favors on the check.
Furthermore, the food was bland and Luke warm.
We will not return and I suggest y'all don't go either.
Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday. Nice place with good food. We sampled the tenderloin omelette, grilled cheese, and Elvis pancakes. Everything was well cooked and nicely plated. We definitely enjoyed it.

Don't bother if you want good service and a proper martini. The first time my husband and I went in, the service was decent and so were the martinis, so we decided to give it another try and we had planned on having dinner there but ended up going elsewhere.
The 2nd time we went in and sat at the bar and requested vodka martini's without the brine and with a twist of lemon. We received half a glass of a martini each. I made a comment as we saw many many other martini's almost to the top. The bartender commented that was the proper amount of liquor for that drink. She made others after ours with twice the amount of liquor as well.
We will not be going back, it's too bad because we don't live far and could've been regular customers. We'll just take our money elsewhere in the neighborhood.
Drove 35 minutes to this place and arrived at 2:15pm just for them to tell us the kitchen closed at 2pm when the website says brunch ends at 3pm. Tried calling several times beforehand to ask questions and didn t get an answer.
Memphis downtown dining week brought us here. The location is easy to find, specials for the week were good and the ambiance is nice. Will definitely have to visit on a regular week.

We eat here often. This is a stop on our Tastin''Round Town food tour! When you want to taste a bit of the best Mid South you need to eat here.
First, had difficulty getting seated, then coffee first came out Luke Cool... Food took 1 hour to come out which is fine for casual brunch timing, but then Food was also not Hot as the Automatic Omelet should be. Only potential excuse could be that serving a table of 9 all at once could pose some challenges to the wait staff. Would have preferred for plates to come out as they were ready.

So this is my second time. Just bland food. The risotto, the Red Fish....just no seasoning. My first experience was DOWNTOWN Dining....everything me and my friend ordered had NO SEASONING.
The only thing tasty was the Fried Ribs and that is Both times in have gone. Smh smh! Will not be going back.
