Ponds with ducks, walking paths, tea room, golf course, picnic tables, there is just so much beauty here that it almost hurts my heart. Old oak trees, old homes, so much history. Come, take a look. Sit and read a book. This will always be one of my favorite places.

(russian) I just have never met the best place to stay in my life. Yes, you heard right. You come, like, to the zoo to the beasts. But in the end - this is a major entertainment center, taking into account the interests of absolutely all visitors. In hot summer weather - swim in a beautiful artificial river with beaches, a fast current, with bridges and even with the beach - it turns out heavenly pleasure. Issue rubber rings made spray. Who wants to - goes with the children right to the local water park. Here we celebrated a birthday - a special hut for guests is given.
If a person wants to walk around the zoo - no problem - he begins his journey into the country of wild animals.
Beautiful peacocks appear everywhere in the territory - they sing songs, they dance or just walk between people.
The architecture of buildings and structures is generally a separate issue. You can walk past the high colonnade or walk between the low columns towards the terrarium. It's impossible to tell everything - the zoo is very large.
Do not forget, at the entrance, to the right in the cafe, buy a delicious blue cocktail - it will give the trip unforgettable emotions.

Calm.

Love it, great park to walk with the kids or exercise. People watch, golf, playground equipment for kids when covid is over. But stay until dark. Get out before dark. Youll notice everyone but the hoodlums stay when it gets dark.

Endless oaks and a paved walking/bike path ringed by a dirt path make for a great place to get outside. Kids love the playground right off St. Charles and feeding the ducks in the central lagoon. The well-maintaned bird sanctuary in the middle of the lagoon attracts all types, from waterfowl to songbirds. Also home to the Audubon Zoo on the river side of Magazine, ending with the Fly on the riverbank. All worthy of separate visits.

We absolutely loved the zoo and the aquarium! My son really loved the plastic created animal sculptures because even tho he is five he is very passionate about saving the fishes. He loves the ocean, animals and wildlife. Thank you so much for an amazing experience with the beautiful Christmas lights, letter box to Santa and the beautiful peacocks walking around majestically.

I love this park, and the location is perfect. You can do some many activities in the park and around the park. You also have the zoo right there. I love this park to run because it has a lot of trees that provide great shade.

This is THE spot to go to to play tennis or ultimate frisbee in the area. THe tennis games are uber competitive, with a good group of people always there, and ditto that for ultimate frisbee. Kudos to the town for providing the quality fields here

Great place for family of alllll ages. Love the play areas. Thankful that there's someone who thought of a safer play space. Born and raised in the city yet now live in Houston. My ASD 3 year old was able to cover sensory, fell in love with the music portion, and I don't have to look over my shoulder or feel on protective mode. Ferdinand (my son) even made a couple of friends in his own way despite being non verbal. No strange looks when he hag a meltdown over not being to go to the swan and duckies. This wasn't a planned trip. I haven't been since prior to Katrina yet, I'm happy I went and it'll always be on my list to stop by now every time we're home. (Adult daughter lives here so we're here approximately 3 times a year.) This visit had up been the highlight of our trip thus far until firework night nevertheless I'm almost certain it'll be top 2 for my miracle one pound birthweight now 3 y/o 30lb bundle of Awesome THANK YOU Drew #9 and family. Greatly appreciated
