Beautiful as always but they need to add places to cool off.
This is a very beautiful zoo. The palm trees lining the front entrance and the enormous oak trees throughout the property are spectacular. Many exhibits were under construction during our visit which is the only drawback. We enjoyed the sea lion presentation, the orangutans, gorillas, giraffe and peacocks.
It was awesome I plan on making the trip to Audubon zoo again this year
Nice ZOO, nice Cool ZOO - wish it is bigger with a swimming pool.
Negative is expensive bad quality food.
Plenty places for kids to play and have fun.. easy to navigate.
We Enjoyed Spending That Day with Our Grandchildren. We enjoy The Face on Our 4 Year Old, This was Her First Time.
Great little zoo. The food was good if a little pricy but that's to be expected. I would definity go back.
I've always loved this zoo. Native to New Orleans and I never tire coming here.
The place is huge, 58 acres, prepare to walk. It was a hot one today, most of the animals where lazy mode in the shade, but the kids still had a blast. It does suck the water park costs more $$ when u pay enough to get in. I was disappointed that they removed the dinasour thing. The worst thing I've seen was every trash can in the park had bees around them, very very no cool. For the most part food was good, park was clean, staff was friendly.
Not a bad light display. I would say that the target age group is 6 and under.
My kids are 10 and 15. They felt a little let down.
Great photo opportunities with different light displays and backgrounds.
I wouldn't necessarily return to see this again, but I still recommend to families with small kids.
So pretty and peaceful, great way to get out and enjoy family time
Regional gem. So many wonderful days spent under the oaks.
Favorite park. We come here every day. Some of the fields get very soggy after it rains, perfect for puddle-splashing with kids. And the brown-bellied whistling ducks sing most loudly between 5 and sunset. A single swan is mourning his mate, and there are three geese: one girl and two ganders who fight frequently.
Had a great time! Just don't go when we did (the month of June) It's too hot and a lot of animals are understandably hiding in the shade.
Great park on The Mississippi River behind Audubon Zoo.
LOVE THE SHADY WALKING TRAIL AND SAFE ATMOSPHERE!!!!
Clean and very beautiful scenery. I love walking here.
Great Zoo. The grandchildren loved it and so did I. Had lunch at the Bayou Cafe. The chicken strips were really good. The children said they were the best they had ever eaten.
This was from 2017 but definitely visit the monkeys!!!!
Nice park. Great trees. Great places to sit. You do need mosquito spray. They have a nice underused pavilion. There is also a golf course. Sometimes I think it's dangerous to walk near the golf course even though I have never been hit. There are two paths one closer to the homes and one closer in. There are a few gym stops for push ups, pull ups, climbing, step ups etc etc. There is also a bike path. There is a place for children to play. And it's labeled for the age groups. Turtles and birds to watch. Please stop feeding them people, but whatever.
Went with grandson had a wonderful trip cant wait for lion exhibit to open.
Such a beautiful space to enjoy!!
Amazing oak trees!! Some are so big! Nice water area with an abundance of water fowl. Plenty of people walking and biking and just out enjoying the day. Bathrooms are open and clean. So wonderful to have this park available to escape to a green space and connect with nature!
The only thing I didn't like was that the gorillas had too much freedom.
The Zoo is great and workers are nice. DO NOT EAT THERE!! I got food Poisoning and Paid $25.00 for a Turkey Wrap. There was no price tag on food.
The park is really big and nice. The adjacet zoo is wayyyyy to expensive for the size and its animal selection.
I absolutely loved the park. So beautiful and spectacular. My favourite part was the rhino. I'd never seen one before.
Nice zoo clean and good enclosure for the animals, good place for children lots of hands on things to do
Great zoo! Lots of walking, as to be expected at a zoo.
A peaceful and relaxing place great for the visit with wonderful gardens I recommend !!!
Beautiful park. Absolutely huge. Right across the street from Tulane, and goes all the way down to the river. Lots of parking, but a lot of it is residential, so watch where you park. There's free parking on the Magazine ST side. Right next to the zoo, sometimes you can bark back and forth with the seals. Great walking trails, lots of playgrounds, and full of gorgeous live oak trees. Close to lots of food options, and Uptown area. Usually lots of people, but never crowded. Great place to bring your dog or small children.
The new exhibits are amazing and give a more immersive experience.
Awesome zoo! Look forward to visiting again when everything is open again
Love this zoo! Very clean and beautiful! Friendly staff.
The animals all looked super hot and not many animals had any water to drink
Very challenging golf course. Do not let the short yardage fool you. This is a tough course.
Very nice kept grounds. I enjoyed the golfers and the frat parties along the sides.
Lights at the zoo were fantastic. I enjoyed it and look forward to returning next year.
A beautiful open space for just strolling around and stopping and looking at the scenery
It's always clean and beautiful. Great place to exercise or chill.
What a scene early mornings or late evenings. Perfect two mile walk around the loop.
Tranquil grounds. Lowers the blood pressure and puts the visitor in a hypnotic state of relaxation.
I love this place! It's really cool you can watch a monkey while drinking a beer.
Great park for running, walking and cycling. New playgrounds are fantastic for kids!
One of the best zoos in the nation. We do an annual membership even though we're 300 miles away. It's that good.
Ride your bike, check the Zoo. Go to the Fly and watch the river. Have a cookout, hang a hammock. Golf and baseball. What a great place.
