The animals appear underfed. The staff is friendly but the overall experience isn't one I would pay for again. The train ride was enjoyable and the host was very knowledgeable, and entertaining as well. I came to Audubon Zoo expecting to leave with a memorable experience, which didn't happen. A good place to take young children or a date if you're just looking to get out; the overall time I spent there with my wife was no more than 3 hours.
