Loved this zoo. We spent 4 hours walking around and riding the train and still did not see it all. We will be back again soon. I was amazed at how massive giraffes actually were. This is a great place to spend the day but bring your walking shoes.

My dog and I live to go here for walks. We sit and watch all the ship traffic going by. This place is huge. Be sure to look for the giraffes on your way out. Look to your left and u can see their heads over the fence!!!! Great place for kids to run wild and free!! Nice hill for rolling down too!

We visit this zoo every time we r in town and the kids always love it. They are doing a lot of construction and a lot of animals weren't in their exhibit but still a good outing. Bring bathing suits and towels.

This is an incredible park with walking and bike paths winding thru old oak trees with hanging moss. The trails follow the banks of a beautiful lake that has an amazing amount of ducks, egrets and other birds. There are historic houses bordering the park, each one unique and beautiful. On the south end is a zoo and beyond that is a park to walk along the shores of the Mississippi River. You can bring a blanket and picnic to watch the boats go by and enjoy the views. Wonderful!

Even on a muggy and warm day this zoo was cooler and very shady. Best up close and in your face facility that I have been to and my whole family enjoyed this outing without getting whiney.

Beautiful Park in uptown New Orleans, can be accessed from the St Charles streetcar, or the Magazine Street bus. Designed and built for the 1884 world's Fair. Housed within the park is the Audubon Zoo.
