Like a lot of sales situations, the quality of the service you get at Shrewsbury Audi comes down to the salesman you are served by. Below is a 'one star' review I wrote previously, documenting my experiences with this dealership over the many years I have lived in Shropshire. However, recently I decided to give them 'one more chance' (because they had yet another car I was interested in) and I have to say that things were very different. Some of the salesmen I'd seen before were still there, but there were also some new guys that had come in since my last visit. I was lucky enough to be served by one of them (Ewen) who turned out to be incredibly helpful and approachable - the direct opposite of what I'd found in the past. On the basis of his professionalism, I have to change my rating for Shrewsbury Audi and say that they deserve to be given a second chance.

Unfortunately, this dealership typifies the 'Audi Attitude' at its very worst, with a lazy, arrogant approach to customers that has to be experienced to be believed. I live locally and have visited on 3 occasions, each time with a significant amount of money to spend on a new car. Every time, I have been ignored or patronised by salesmen who spend most of their time lounging at their desks, playing with their phones. As someone who works in customer service, I have been appalled at the total lack of professionalism displayed by sales staff who always give the impression when they are talking to you that they have 'something better to do'. So they didn't get my order for a Q7, or and RS4 or an S1 for my wife, as a result. There are plenty of other good car dealerships locally. Go somewhere else where they will appreciate your custom - that's what I did!
