I went in for my first tattoo here last April while on vacation. My experience was not what I had hoped it would be, seeing as how the shop was rated so well. I walked in to talk about my idea with an artist, but did not feel like the time was taken to visualize or discuss my idea. Not sure what to expect since it was my first tattoo, I went ahead and filled out my paperwork and put down my deposit after I met the artist that would be giving me the tattoo. I came in later that week for my appointment, and was told that another artist would be doing it. Through conversation, I realized that he was new to the shop, and he didn't seem to have an idea of what I was getting, even after talking and showing him a general picture. I understand that every artist has their own style, but he seemed generally uninterested in my idea, and went ahead with his own rendition of my tattoo. I wouldn't have been as upset if the tattoo was actually done well, but it is nowhere near symmetrical, and the lines and shading were clearly rushed. I am not sure if this was a fluke occurrence, with the artist being new to the shop, or if this is a representation of what people should expect at Atomic Frog, but my entire experience was less than satisfactory. I would love to discuss this with the owner, and would gladly raise my rating if this could be discussed or resolved. Thank you for your time.

Got my first piercing here. I was nervous, he made me feel comfortable. Fully explained how to take care of my peircing. As soon as its healed im going back to get my other side done. Would recommend 100%

My daughter got her first tatoo here. The guy was young and friendly enough, it took him 40 mins. to do, it wasn't hard design....this place charged $315.00. This is way too much $ for the simple tatoo she got. My daughter just turned 18, I really feel like she was taken advantage of when it came to talking of price.

Best work I've ever had. Made it custom to my liking and extremely friendly artists. Best in the the area for sure!

This place is awesome! Family run Tatoo studio. Our artist Tommy "Gunns" has over 20 years of experience tattooing, and was amazing. His color work rocked! I whole heartedly recommend stopping by if you want GOOD ink in Destin, Fla.

I got 4 piercings yesterday, i am pleased w them all.. Staff and facility is very clean and efficient, changing gloves and equipment w each one. Inviting atmosphere, Very friendly, family oriented, down to earth, and all around good group of folks!! Definitely looking forward to working with them in the future!!

Absolutely love my tattoo from here! Was a walk in and didn t have to wait long at all all 3 of my friends and I got a tattoo on a girls trip. Everyone was very friendly and did a great job!

Had a old tattoo that I have been told 3 times that it could not be covered up. Talked to Richie and he did it. Done an unbelievable job of getting me the jumping bass and boat I ve wanted. Plus added a couple things to it he thought of. Have had many compliments on it also. Great A+ place. Thanks again guys.

I went in today on the last day of my vacation to get a tattoo. They were super friendly and accommodating. It was my first one and Chris was absolutely awesome with his mannerisms and his line work and shading were perfect. I enjoyed the entire experience.

When scrolling through reviews the only complaint you see is with the fact that the shop owner s children are running around. It was honestly really nice and the atmosphere of the place was so friendly. I feel like if kids can have fun there and lighten the mood of a potentially scary experience then they should be there! It was still clean and inviting. And who doesn t love a family oriented place? I totally recommend.

Our family was on vacation in Destin about two weeks ago. Our 20 & 16 year old daughters wanted to get a nose and cartilage piercings. Looked up places near our rental and found all the great reviews on Atomic Frog. We showed up the next morning before they opened. They opened on time and I noticed how clean the place was. My daughter's love their piercings and never has any issues with healing. Thank you!

I just got finished getting a tattoo of a Tiger Shark from Cody. It is absolutely beautiful. Cody took great care of me the whole time. The work was done just above my ankle which made sitting for it quite awkward but Cody made sure I was as comfortable as possible the whole time. I highly recommend coming to Atomic Frog.

Just dropped in with my soon to be wife and received the best tattoo and experience we could have asked for. Tommy was a very precise and professional artists with amazing lettering skills. Thank you so much for making our trip memorable and would definitely recommend this shop to anyone!!

This place is awesome. Dave was so professional and friendly!! My friend was getting a tattoo with me, but Bc she didn't have cash she wasn't guna be able to get one.. THEN Dave invited us back after he went and got a machine for her credit card! The professionalism and comfort of this place is ridiculously awesome. I had a piercing done on vacation and it swole up. The staff there pulled out the two small ring and put a bigger one in. He was so nice and gentle!!!

Atomic Frog Tattoo is by far the cleanest, most professional, and most reasonable shop I've ever been too, and I've been to different shops all over the country. My primary artist, Zach, is one of the most talented artists I've ever have the chance to work with, as is evident by the fact that I have two of his original pieces tattoo'd on my body. If you're looking for a great shop with a great vibe, this is the place.

originally zach was going to do my tattoo but cody finished one of his appointments first so cody did my tattoos and he did a phenomenal job!!! i have bad anxiety and he made me feel safe and was extremely nice! i will DEFINITELY be coming back for more tattoos!!!

My momma died a week ago and I knew that I wanted a tattoo in remembrance of her. I was recommended to give these guys a try and was completely blown away by the guys in there. They are very passionate about their art and i discovered they are also passionate about the people that come in. I told them what I wanted and they did beautifully. I got my nose pierced there and they totally messed it up. The piercing was way too big and was a sticking out like a nail and overall just pierced incorrectly. Went to another place to get it looked at and they said it was wrong and i had to get it REDONE and pay more money. Wouldn t recommend going here for piercings.

So No Surrender Chris is hands down the coolest cat in the tattoo game!! His attitude and personality was on point!! Gave my son exactly what he wanted. Atomic Frog Tattoos is clean and sanitary, artists and staff were friendly throughout the entire process. I appreciate all the ladies and gentlemen for staying late. This experience was amazing!!! I went here with a girlfriend to get her nose pierced. The place was clean, and the owners were very concerned about keeping the piercing environment sterile. The man piercing my friend was soothing, humorous, patient, and very friendly throughout the whole process. He's had lots of experience with piercings and tattoos, and he himself has all of the aforementioned. Their jewelry selection isn't that great, but he could order anything you wanted from his wholesaler. The only downside to our experience was he didn't give us a hard-copy of the piercing's after care instructions, he mentioned salt water soaks as we were leaving.

My boyfriend and I got tattooed by Chris. We had a great experience. Great atmosphere. Definitely coming back soon.

Brent was great. Such a nice guy and fun to talk to. Everyone in there is very nice and its an amazing atmosphere.

Worked with Dave on a side project for his business and he's a treat to work with. Not only very professional, but a pretty cool guy as well. Arguably the nicest tattoo business I've ever seen. Highly recommend his services.

First visit and went well. Got a real simple set of words done as a walk in to add to my continued arm project. Drove from Pensacola just to do a walk in because I heard they will take me as I am and not working a normal schedule job.
Chris did a great job of understanding what I was looking for.

My friends and I took a quick day trip to Destin and decided to get brave and get small tattoos. Both of my friends, it being their first tattoo, were very nervous and anxious, but the staff did a really great job making them feel confident and comfortable with their decision. In the end, they were both ready for another and one is even talking about visiting again next week. (Making a 4 hour drive just to see them!). They have such a friendly staff, and it is such a clean place. Will definitely have to visit them again!

Tommy at the Atomic Frog is phenomenal! I def recommend anybody looking to get a tattoo go to him! He listens to what you want. He's light handed. I will never go to anywhere else to get new work done

Chris was my artist and he was fantastic. Took the idea in my head and made it even better on my arm. Not only was he great at what he does, but funny too. The place is clean, the people are nice, and the art is fantastic.

Couldn't of picked a better place. we checked in on other shops and noticed the art work was phenomal at Atomic Frog!!! xander did amazing work and he also let me talk his ear off which made it all worth while. My sister and I are from Huntsville Alabama, we came in and got tattoos for my birthday from Zach and Cody, we could not be any happier with the result!!! The other artist Xander does awesome work too! Great atmosphere - this is my shop away from home!

We are here on vacation and we chose this place because of the reviews and the price that was quoted over the phone. We got there and the price changed from $65 to $125. The tattoo took 30 minutes at best to complete. The artist did a GREAT job! He was also very personable. Just pricey for what was done.

Got a piece done by Zach, and I am very satisfied with the outcome. Will definitely come again.

Specifically asked for no shading on my tattoo. Artist decided he was going to do it anyway. Pretty annoyed but what can you do. Make sure your artist will respect what you ask for

Me and my husband decided to get new tattoos while on our honeymoon Chris did ours and they both turned out absolutely perfect!!!!!!!! I highly recommend this tattoo shop, to anyone that is wanting great quality work done. I got both of my half sleeves done here by the artist Zach.. And all i can say is he is an amazing artist. Very light handed and very detailed in his work.I let him do some of his own touches in the ideas I wanted done. All I can say is his free hand work is spectacular
and line work looks as a computer Drew them. He definitely is highly recommended for any ink work younwant done. And will work around you're schedule if needed. The shop treated me like I was family and always ask me if I needed anything while I was getting my work done.

Diamond Dave is excellent. He did two tattoos one me and one on my friend. We loved them! He followed everything by the book! It was very clean in the shop. He did GREAT color on our tattoos and had a light hand!

A few weeks late posting this review... This place is WONDERFUL. Super chill, clean, and efficient shop. I had been wanting to get my piece done for a long time but certain medical conditions had held me back and it was very nice to find people that were knowledgeable of working on someone with blood thinners. After taking a look at other artists in the Destin area I ( very happily ) chose the Atomic Frog and Chris took wonderful care of me. The design is beautiful and the colors are stunning - everything I wanted and more :)

Just had my septum done there and it was amazing. They were friendly, didn t make me wait too long, and tried to make me more comfortable while I was there. My best friend got her belly button pierced and I can honestly say it was one of the most fun things. They even gave me extra swabs Incase I started bleeding again and made it wide enough to hide at work. Thank you guys!! Piercings done by Brent

Just went and had a wonderful experience with Johnboy, I asked for a Mandela paw print and name on my forearm and he delivered!! I absolutely love it and would totally recommend this shop to anyone looking to get some amazing ink while in Destin.

I was on vacation with my family and decided I wanted to get a tattoo while I was there. I had been wanting this tattoo for awhile. Heather did the tattoo and she was awesome! She worked with me very well and helped to make it look the best where I was getting it. It was my 4th tattoo, but I still get a bit nervous and she made me feel so comfortable. I've been inked here twice and peirced as well. Diamond Dave an crew have a great shop. The atmosphere is one that is hard to anywhere else. If you are a clean freak, this is your shop, it's spotless an feels sanitary. They make you feel like family an once the frog gets you, you'll be back!

Cody hooked me up wtih a fire rose tat. Great artist the place is very welcoming and professional I recommend coming here for tats.

Absolutely my favorite place to get a tattoo! Friendly people and very clean. I have gotten 2 here so far but definitely plan on getting another next year when I m down in the area. I d give them a 5 star rating any day!
