Zach was my artist and I love my tattoo; however, I had made an appointment and paid a deposit and when I arrived at the shop he had just started 2 walk-ins because they overlooked who my appointment was with. The front desk apologized and said it wouldn t take long, so I waited, but an hour past my appt. time and my tattoo still wasn t started. It was an hour and half past my appointment before my tattoo was started.

Been in a few times now and absolutely love this place! All the pieces are custom work so none of that FLASH art that 5 other people on the beach are gonna have and the artists are super awesome! Prices are very good for this area (remember you ARE ON THE BEACH), better than what I d found elsewhere. And to top it all off the place is SUPER clean and that s a huge deal for a tattoo studio. The moment I walked through the door I was greeted by a very kind and courteous staff. I did not have an appointment but every effort was made to fit me in. I was assigned Richie. Richie took my tattoo idea and spun his magic to create an awesome design. The end product was I got a tattoo that far surpasses my expectations. Richie provided great conversation as well as walking me what he was doing with the tattoo at the time. I would definitely recommend Atomic Frog Tattoo to anyone. I got a tattoo here and it was extremely sanitary and everyone who helped me was incredibly kind. I love how my tattoo came out. They also gave my friend a nose piercing after they had already closed which was so nice of them.
John boy was a great tattooist and the workers were cool and nice. My girlfriend got one and her sister got one also. Heather did theirs. They were very polite and professional about there job great work on the bull John boy it looks sick! This was our first tattoo great experience.

Almost a year ago, I came into the shop wanting a simple under-boob piece. It was two words, 3 letter each. Not complicated. I had chosen the shop based on its good reviews and felt confident in my pick. I consulted with an artist (I don t remember his name) about what I wanted, and showed him my references. I thought he could do it, and I was excited to have this piece. My first red flag should ve been when he said we tattoo really fast here. This wasn t my first tattoo and I should ve questioned it, but I didn t. He put the stencil on, and began working. About 7-8 minutes later he was finished. I got up to look into the mirror and immediately realized something was wrong. Some of the lines were thicker than others, there was a weird dip in one of the letters, it just didn t look how I pictured. I didn t say anything then, I wanted to give it time to heal and settle with my body. That s when it got worse. Fast forward to now, the tattoo is COMPLETELY blown out. Its wonky, and jagged. I understand that other people have had good experiences here, I just feel like my artist didn t take good care of me, and maybe didn t have my best interests and desires at heart. All he saw was a 120$. It s now my least favorite Tattoo and I hate having to look at it everyday. I hate my partner seeing it, or anyone seeing it at all. I m not bagging the shop all together. Everyone was nice, my tattoo is just a nightmare.

I was in Florida on vacation fro Oklahoma and decided to get a new tattoo. I did some research and found Atomic Frog at the top of the list. I arrived around 8:30pm on a Saturday night and this is what I found.

Everyone was super awesome here. I walked in wanting my daughters name in a font I liked and got exactly what I wanted. Elliott is good at what he does, it was done precisely and he went over his white spots that he saw, said if there was any he didn't see to come back in. I really love it and super glad I went and checked this place out.
I live in Michigan and have been wanting to get a tattoo in memory of my uncle who had passed away almost a year ago. While vacationing in Florida my family and I decided to look around at different places but we were VERY impressed while looking at Atomic Frog. I made my appointment and was tattooed by Brian. He was very professional yet made me feel at ease while getting my tattoo. Everyone there was very professional yet extremely friendly and welcoming. Not to mention they are very clean and sterile. After getting my tattoo done, we were all so impressed that my mom and dad decided to get tattooed while we were there as well. We plan on coming back to Florida in a few months and going back to Atomic Frog to get tattooed again! Absolutely everything you could hope to find at a tattoo shop and more!!

Myself and about 15 people walked in around 9 o clock all looking for some tats. Expected to be treated with annoyance and disgust because of the largeness is the group, couldn t be more happy with the experience. The staff, the artists, the couch s, chairs, etc. we talked and chatted with the workers and spent about 3 hours and had a great time. The perfect way to do business
From the time I walked in the shop I was politely greeted by everyone in the shop. I could tell it was an extremely clean place. Diamond Dave pierced my nose last week while I was on vacation. He was incredibly funny and helped put my mind at ease when I was a little nervous. He made sure I knew everything that was about to happen and made sure I knew how to take care of it after I left. Later in the week I brought my daughter in to get a henna tattoo and it was a fabulous experience as well and it turned out beautifully. Highly recommend this place!!

While vacationing in destin, my boyfriend and I wanted to get tattoos so after reading reviews we stopped here to schedule an appointment for our last day in FL. Unfortunately they weren t going to be open on Labor Day so we ended up not getting them here, BUT I wanted to leave 5 starts just because of how awesome the staff was here!! They were beyond friendly and helpful. They spent time talking about the tattoos we we re going to get and then directed us where we could go to get them done. The shop looked great and you could tell it was just an over all good environment. They all have beautiful work as well.
My wife and I were on vacation for a day in destin and decided to get tattoos last minute. I got a beach bicycle and she got a large collage of flowers. We had the lead artist, Tommy, tattoo both of us. His line work is top notch! Every little detail of our tattoos were captured exactly as we wanted! Dave was there as well and he welcomed us and made us feel absolutely comfortable throughout it all. I would 100% recommend this shop to anybody!!

Just got a tattoo here, me and 3 friends. I had Cody and so did 1 friend and he was both kind AND did a fantastic job. Zach did my boyfriend's tattoo and again, it looked fantastic and he was very personable. Ed did the 4th friend's tattoo. He was a little more on the quiet side but he did a very good job and smiled almost the whole time. Overall a great experience.

While on vacation, I decided to go with my wife and get my first tattoo for my son. I walked in, immediately was welcomed, and met my tattoo artist immediately, Johnboy. He asked what I wanted, sat down, and sketched it out in less than ten minutes. Satisfied, he prepped everything, called us back, and within the next 35 minutes he was completely done with the product. The entire time he kept engaged in conversation, and was very conscientious about explaining everything needed for a first timer.

Stopped in and got a tattoo from Brent, he did amazing. He made me feel super comfortable the entire time and he has a very light hand. I highly recommend him, I couldn t have asked for a better experience!
Unfortunately, the tattoo that my daughter got is really poor quality. The font is hard to read, one of the words has a little smear above it. And the last word in the quote is unrecognizable. She literally, has to tell people what it says. I wish I didn t have to leave a bad review.Everyone was nice and professional and it was a nice atmosphere. She has a consultation tomorrow to start the process of lazor removal.

Walked in yesterday and they were able to immediately tattoo me. I believe Chris did mine and both tattoos turned out perfect. They were all also super friendly, like we had known them for years. So glad I decided to go with them! Highly recommend! Also I read some reviews complaining about babies being there but I think it is great to be so family oriented. Plus the babies were super cute...good for the owners to allow their employees to be with their children!! Love love love that!
