Atomic Frog Studios Review

We showed up a few day ago and scheduled 3 tattoos $180. We showed up for the tattoos, When parking, we pulled up and we 4 of us saw a baby climbing on the inside of the door at the end of the office building locked inside (filthy! In just in soiled diaper) in there with an extension cord in his hand! NO ONE was in there. NO ONE we were told by the boy that came a few minutes who was maybe 10 (bc the couple we were with has an 11 yr old) we refused to leave a baby with a soiled diaper alone in a space with an extension cord (Atleast we could see him. A minute more and we were calling cops). He said they lock the baby in there so it doesn t run into the street but grandma was coming to get them in a little bit. What the heck!?!? I m assuming dad came out shortly after and we walked in and we told the lady we aren t getting our tattoos. Which was fine. Keep the $180. I refuse to support anyone who practice that kind of childcare . But from what I understand, when we went elsewhere and got our tattoos, the artists we got our tattoos from, they have also heard that about them from other client that he s had often and they hear complaints about 8 kids running around. Then, just makes me grateful we left bc of cross contamination. (When we walked in to cancel, there was a baby riding a trike around in a tattoo studio!) like I ve never seen this kind of stuff before. I was extremely disappointed bc it was not like that when we booked or I wouldn t have given them any money what so ever. But I am thankful we found the other tattoo studio just up the road! So much more laid back, quiet, clean!

Chris was phenomenal!!! He was patient, engaging, and professional! I would recommend him to everyone! I def plan to use him again next time I am down for vacation!!!! Thanks Chris!

Came in over weekend (probably too late) just got 2 simple wedding bands and a piercing. Was taken for a $$$ ride over $230 for everything. Husband was told a price then I then when it came to pay it went. still we tipped both artist(not their fault) loved them and thier attention to details got what we wanted but they could of had a bigger tip.
Piercing was soso she didn't have correct jewelry (had to settle for whatever ) then she literally dropped the ball over 4 times still better then every place on FWB landing thier artist would only give black bands and had no one to do piercing. Absolutely nothing's wrong with family atmosphere. Suggest a local discount, maybe some basic clear pricing, discount card or something if your getting multiple.

Zach gave me my first tattoo. I walked in with a rough sketch of what i wanted and he knocked it out of the park. I came in we sat down for a total of 7 hours. (It was a pretty big piece). Zach and i talked a little and everyone else in the tattoo shop came and made conversation with me as well. Everyone seemed super friendly and they took really good care of me. Post tattoo they gave me a sheet on how to care for it while it heals. Overall great experience, great work, and they were super friendly. I plan on coming back and having zach put a few more pieces on me.

The artists know what they are doing here and do good work, however we got tattoos for the first time and gave us no information on how to take care of it properly. On another note the employees have a bunch of babies in the back, one would be confused as to if this is a daycare center or tattoo parlor when you walk in -unprofessional.

My first tattoo was amazing and Chris did my dads tattoo and did amazing they treat you like family

This review is a little late but me and a group of three others came in over my spring break about a month or two ago and we all got tattoos. They were AWESOME and the price was great too. The people were so friendly and didn't complain at all when we made them redo the placement over and over again to make sure it was in the perfect spot. Since all of us got tattoos, we were in there for a pretty long time and left feeling like all of those guys were really our friends! 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone! Super clean too!

If you want the best experience, friendly environment, and awesome work done go to the atomic frog...Diamond Dave has done all my work and he is the best I think there is...Tommy Guns hasn't done work on me but his Traditional is out of this world, and Josh Smith if you want awesome sharpie work he literally draws on you its just amazing....so if you want the best go HERE! NO BS price is very reasonable and they are great people! Check it out for yourself!

Just got tattooed by Cody. He took what I brought as a reference and went above and beyond what I expected. I can't thank him enough for doing this and just to let him know my mom loved it as well. If your in Destin or passing thru and want a tat this is the place and ask for Cody.

Chris is awesome. He did exactly what I wanted. The staff was very friendly and not pushy at all. Very genuine group of professionals. Highly recommend this place they will work with you on getting exactly what you want. Thanks Chris and we will back for a weekend just to get more work done.

I went in wanting a tattoo in Memory of my sister who passed in December 2016. While being on vacation in Florida from Mississippi I decided it would be the perfect time. The Staff was not only Professional but they treated you like family. Heather done my tattoo and she done an AWESOME job. I got a lighthouse on my wrist and I absolutely love it I showed her a picture and she out done herself on it. She added her own touch and it is beautiful. My sister would be so happy. If you are ever in Florida and want a great tattoo go see these guys. I am one very happy customer!!!!

Dave did a fabulous job on a sea turtle tattoo for me Friday evening (9.14.18). He s very light handed and I can honestly say this tattoo hurt less than any I ve ever had done! It s healing nicely and hasn t bothered me at all!! I ll be checking them out again when I return to Florida! Thanks Dave and Atomic Frog Tattoo!

We came in from New Orleans as we always do to enjoy the beach. My cousin lost his nose ring in the water so we drove around in search of a new one and stumbled upon Atomic Frog. He got the nose ring he was looking for. He said the girl working was very nice and helpful. Plus we got a cool sticker for each of our cars . Thanks

I came to Destin for vacation and chose Atomic Frog for my tattoo because of the good reviews I read. Johnboy did my tattoo and I was very pleased with it! Not only did he do a great job but he and the entire staff was so friendly. This place has a great atmosphere and fair pricing. It s well worth the money!

This place was amazing, im 16 and came here with my mom and twin to get a matching tattoo to symbolize the day we were all united. I picked this shop out of the rest because of the reviews it had gotten an it convinced me an i experienced it first hand. Also it was my first tattoo and of course i was nervous and i wanted it to be amazing an it was nothing but the best experience, i love my tattoo an the artist are cool an the vibe was amazing. I totally recommend this parlor for anyone looking for great work among these outstanding artist. Diamond Dave was are artist he did a amazing job!

This shop definitely did not disappoint!! Cody did a great job with helping me narrow down and perfect what I was trying to get done. Definitely an amazing artist with clean line work. I have other tattoos, but this was my first shop experience and everyone was super chill and easy to talk to. Family oriented, and down to earth. I'll be coming back next time I come to Destin. If there is one thing I don t do a lot it s leave reviews. I just have to say this tattoo studio is awesome. I went in last night (2/17/18) and I wanted something unique and but simple. I expressed how deeply I didn t want just another tattoo that someone else had. I first spoke with Diamond Dave who would have done my tattoo but he was booked so he recommended Ritchie. So I sat down with Ritchie who broke down everything from what they used (so I knew everything was sterile) and then we discussed my tattoo. He was very helpful in helping me draw it from scratch and made sure it was perfect. I am so happy! Diamond Dave and Ritchie are awesome! Another thing I loved is the fact it s kid friendly. I was worried about what to do with my kids since I am on vacation and a single mom. While I was getting my tattoo Ashlynn (who does henna) helped watch my kids and gave them each Henna s. Her Henna s are reasonably priced and she is very nice and worked well with my kids. She did an awesome job. I recommend this place highly. I will surely recommend any of my friends and family from NY who visit here yearly to check them out!!! Thanks for the awesome works everyone we had an amazing experience.

My husband just got a tiger tattoo done by tommy and it looks amazing!!! They were super nice, Tommy was super professional. Defiantly getting another one done here next vacation to destin!

Zach was great! We were there on vacation for my birthday and I was very pleased with scorpion design Zach made me. He also touched up a tattoo on my neck and I love it! Shop was very clean and everyone was awesome. We will definitely be back!!!

Chris Perez is an excellent, experienced artist. I love his work! He has tattooed me and several of my family members over the past few years. We are all extremely happy with our tattoos.

This is probably the best tattoo shop I have ever been in, and Tommy is the best artist I have ever had. My family and I were vacationing here in Destin for a week and decided at the end of our trip to get tattoos. Thank you Atomic Frog Staff for making this a memorable experience. My parents have never had any tats, but Tommy exceeded their expectations in doing their first tat. Thanks guys! We will be back, and this is definitely the place to go if you're in Florida.

I drove 5 hours from Jacksonville just to get work done by David Bouge and I will definitely do it again. The shop is very clean and well organized. The artists all treat you like family as soon as you walk in. Not only did David do an awesome job on my shoulder but the staff was also able to convince my father to get a tattoo by Elliott after 10+ years of him saying "I don't know, maybe one day." If that doesn't exemplify a great business, I don't know what does. My dad and I will definitely be back.

The wait was pretty long but over all, very professional people.

The shop was clean and the staff were awesome. Dave did a cover for me today and his artistic ability was more than what I could hope for. Im loving the new art and can't wait to heal and get back in there! Thanks again guys!
