Great volunteer experience for youths. Took my 10 year old and we had a great time. Make sure to have closed toe and heeled shoes! Be prepared to have fun while giving back!
Had a company event here to salvage food in their product rescue center. What a great way to give back to the community!
I worked with the food bank for my senior design project. The people here are very nice and enjoyable to work with. They really care about feeding people and they do everything they can to help those around them.
This place is amazing they offer food and shampoo, conditioner, toys, and pretty much anything you can get at a store for people who can't afford it themselves this is also a great place to vollenter the Warehouse is very friendly and happy and you get to work with new people who will help you out and it's really fun then I would very much recommend people going to help out and honestly it's fun just to go because it's interesting to see all the things for example when I went there I learned it they sell jalapenos and applesauce containers you know like the small plastic containers with the peel off Lids they put jalapenos in there was very interesting I also learned that a lot of stuff can be used from stuff in your everyday house in that can bring a lot of joy and happiness to people it also feeds people.
One of my best volunteer experiences. Bring your family or your department and make it a day you will not forget.
People doing good for the community. Volunteer some time to join their mission.
My company volunteered to sort food here for an afternoon, and had a really great experience.
I went to cooking class every week, and I learned so much from that class.

Easy to drop of...they have help that unloads for you and they love to do it
Atlanta Food Bank is not so responsible. We have been trying to make a donation and no one is there to answer the phones.
So organized and amazing what they are doing for the community
FULTON ATLANTA COMMUNITY ACTION AUTHORITY Shares excellent ability to serve families with distribution to the elderly who are unable to independently acquire goods and services so critical such as food and hospitality.

A feeling of worthwhile satisfaction when you volunteer at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. The Lead in charge "Big Mike" is very patient and cares about his volunteers' well-being. Thank you Atlanta Community Food Bank.
First and foremost....if you have time come down and volunteer here. If you don't have time make some! Help feed families....everyone isn't as fortunate as others. Will be back VERY soon! Shout out Tabitha & Jill
Amazing charity!! It was a pleasure working with them, alongside Phoenix Brand Management Group, to help those in need. Thank you for giving back and helping so many people.
Great place to volunteer! It s very well organized, expectations are clear, and they have an excellent mission serving much of the greater Atlanta area. Kids can help out too!
Everyone is pleasant, and the customer service is great
There is no teamwork honestly throughout the department. A lot of hating on one another a lot of favortism and the ones that do perform good work they are not appreciate. I love the food bank I believe in what they do but in the warehouse department I do not like who they have in as a supervisor.
They are doing great things here! Contribute to help feed those in need!!
They take great strides in helping the unfortunate. Great organization

What a great mission and wonderful staff!! Lived my time here. Wish it were longer.
Jan is an absolutely amazing curator. She got our young girls engaged and loved having her.
This is an outstanding organization and location dedicated to eliminating hunger in the Atlanta area. They have multiple good opportunities for volunteering and especially team-building in organizations and companies. As of the time that I'm writing this, over 97% of their money goes directly to people in need so they are extremely efficient and good with the resources.
Such a lovely place. People are extremely nice. Fresh produce was really fresh looking. I enjoyed my visit there.
People doing great work here to feed those less fortunate. I've volunteered here several times and always felt good amount helping them
The Atlanta Community Food Bank help feed all of the State of Georgia and they receive food donations from all over the state too. They let organizations that have 501 C-3 purchase food from them at very low prices to help out communities with food problems. They also go out and develop gradens, help communities decides what they need, and get local farmers to help evaluate what communities need. They have volunteering programs and array of others services.
What a remarkable experience. Nothing like giving back to the community.
Awesome. Me, my team, and my coop members just want to say thank you. I. Always have to mention David at the front desk. Love me some David. Thank you Atlanta Food Bank.
TekStream Solutions is proud to support the Atlanta Community Food Bank. We find that by allocating a portion of our work week to the community we build strong ties and meet great friends that help keep the people in our city health, active, and happy.
Wonderful place that is doing a lot of good.
In response to a previous comment, it is a food bank not a food pantry. From what I was told they work with food pantries and distribute the food to them. you cannot just walk in and directly get the food from the Atlanta Food Bank.
This organization is making a difference and it gives me a bit more hope in humanity
Tough place for a 53' OTR driver to get into if you've never been there before. I recommend calling for directions. GPS can and will jam you up. Facility was clean and wonderful with awesome friendly staff.
Can't say enough about this place... Simply a great place doing great work
Great place to receive your total goods to help those in need
Great place to volunteer and give back to the community. There are lots of opportunities, and the staff is very friendly and respectful the volunteers.
I appreciate the food as it helps feed my baby girl but sometimes I wish they had nicer products. I mean why should I suffer becuase I can't afford nicer things?

The Atlanta Community Food Bank is a non-profit organization that has been serving the community since 1979. The organization's mission is to end hunger in America by providing food assistance to those who need it most. With over 700 partner agencies, the Atlanta Community Food Bank serves 29 counties in Georgia, including metro Atlanta and north Georgia.
The organization's vision is a hunger-free America where everyone has access to nutritious food. To achieve this goal, the Atlanta Community Food Bank works tirelessly to provide food assistance to those who are struggling with hunger. The organization distributes over 60 million meals each year through its network of partner agencies.
One of the key programs offered by the Atlanta Community Food Bank is its Kids In Need program. This program provides nutritious meals and snacks for children who may not have access to regular meals outside of school hours. Through this program, children receive backpacks filled with healthy snacks and easy-to-prepare meals that they can take home on weekends and holidays.
Another important program offered by the Atlanta Community Food Bank is its Mobile Pantry Program. This program brings fresh produce and other healthy foods directly into communities that lack access to grocery stores or other sources of fresh food. The Mobile Pantry Program serves over 100 locations each month, providing much-needed nutrition for families in need.
In addition to these programs, the Atlanta Community Food Bank also offers a variety of services designed to help individuals and families overcome poverty and achieve self-sufficiency. These services include job training programs, financial education classes, and assistance with accessing government benefits like SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program).
The impact of the work done by the Atlanta Community Food Bank cannot be overstated. In addition to providing essential nutrition for those who are struggling with hunger, their programs also help improve health outcomes for individuals and families living in poverty.
