This is a nice hotel in a good location. It's a bit of a walk, but in walking distance to Old Town, lost of other things like restaurants, museums, shops, etc. within walking distance. The breakfast is a pretty good spread with omelets made to order. It's really good if you are in the Hilton Honors program.

The beauty of a hotel, all the amenities around are superb. Do not miss the spa and fitness center - go from day one to stay. A heated massage pool in stunning outdoor winter.
Clean and beautiful rooms
We had dinner in the Japanese restaurant - disappointment.

Athenee Palace Hilton has always been a great place to stay. Their staff is very courteous and helpful. It is the place of choice when visiting Bucharest. If at the hotel visit the cook at the breakfast buffet she will put a smile on your face with her outgoing personality. .

I had cold water in the shower. In mater if I'd tried it at the morning or at the evening it was always a bit warm, but not even 40 degrees. Staied there for 4 days and nothing changed.

Everything else is just perfect! You can't wish for more. Very professional and kind staff.
Thank you ...but please fix the hot water supply on the 6th floor

Excellent pied a terre to explore Bucharest. We had a suite which is perfect for families with kids. Sunday brunch is excellent quality and very relaxing - live piano music and a play area for kids.

Disappointing. All due to some sloppy attention to details. First off I've stayed at Hilton hotels on loads of occasions and on average the experience has been ok. You want your hotels to feel like your temporary home, which includes those little things you'd normally find there like soap. Why did the room cleaner come and take the soap away? They also didn't bother replacing the tea, coffee, milk or shampoo. But soapgate is the thing that got me but it wasn't the last. Anyway I informed the slightly bemused but annoyed receptionist of our angst on our way out for dinner, she promised to rectify the problem. After a great dinner at La Mama we headed back but not before a couple of cocktails at Chocolat, I had the Rizz Fizz and Pippa had a Mojito. In returning to the room we did a quick check and found that all items had been duly replaced apart from the milk, so what you might say? Well it's 1245am, Pippa loves a cup of tea first thing in the morning and now I have to get up first thing in the morning to go get it. Why don't you ring room service you say? Well it's 1245am, I'm tired and don't want to wait up for another 30 mins to wait for a tiny sachet of milk. So Hilton, disappointing, I now have to come downstairs disheveled (it's not get ready shower time yet) to ask you for a sachet of milk. Better still I'll just wander into the restaurant area and grab a load of them as you'll probably need to ring room service where I'll have to wait for it. It's the little things you see, maybe you haven't got the right process in place because everything is driven by process, surely your staff have a room checklist they tick off, doesn't have to be paper, it's now 2019, create an app or knock something up to use on a phone or tablet, after each room they complete the checklist, management can then do audits and checks and stuff, maybe I should consult for you on customer experience and the journey? Does the Rad really have these problems? I don't know really as I haven't stayed in the Rad in Bucharest....yet.

Very nice staff, clean rooms... One issue though: My daughter slept on the sofa bed, which had a mattress that sagged so much it routinely fell through the bars that were meant to support it. So as you can imagine, it was certainly not a pleasure to sleep on.

The location of the hotel is excellent, and the staff are very friendly and attentive, however the rooms are somewhat dated and the facilities tired. We had a suite, and it certainly did not scream 5 star. The air conditioning did not work and the hot water in the bathroom took several minutes to warm up, and even then having a hot shower was not an option. Overall it was fine.

We came for the weekend.
The stay was pretty average and I'd expect for something better from Hilton brand hotel.
The bathtub was very old and the pressure of the shower was lame.
The amenities were poor.

The staff was helpful.
The suite was really nice. However, there was one bedroom only
Lounge was nice, wouldn't pay for that especially

Enjoy your stay

Probably the most high-end hotel in Bucharest. I collaborated with them for a few events and the staff was very professional both as collaborators as well as catering to guests' needs. We had high level guests and they were quite pleased with their stay.
The building is a historical landmark so the overall decor and atmosphere can seem somewhat old-fashioned but it is trying to preserve the original style.

I would have given 5 stars, but the directions from the hotel entrance to the event hall were few and rather biased. I had to waste a lot of time and wait to ask the staff to figure out where to go. Of if the room was large and clean, with everything that could be useful in the meeting

Lets get real with the ratings !Dirty glassware in the executive lounge twice, mag strips not working in the elevator b..s system to go between floors. Like most Hilton's of late under staffing at the registration desk. When there are two or more guests waiting in line and the single staff member workings the station, does not signal the back for help, then the penny pinching Accounts are in control of guest services. In an ideal world there would always be some one waiting to serve the next guest during 10am to 7pm. With the large numbers electronic devices needing power, each room needs more the two free power outlets.

City with a thousand implications, characterized by imposing historic buildings in degraded neighborhoods ..... Be careful when you pay .... I paid 2 express 20 lei against a taxi of 6 ... there are two types of life, the tourist to pluck and very economical local life market .... 1 kg of good strawberries she paid 7.90

Disappointing for a 5-star hotel. Sitting room cluttered with extra furniture like a storeroom. No interesting channels on TV. Poor room service menu and order was delivered incorrect. Dreadful, cheapskate disposable razor which cut my face. A run-down feeling. Needs investment and training in service ethic. One good area is the lobby - the decor and people were very pleasant there.
