Disappointing. All due to some sloppy attention to details. First off I've stayed at Hilton hotels on loads of occasions and on average the experience has been ok. You want your hotels to feel like your temporary home, which includes those little things you'd normally find there like soap. Why did the room cleaner come and take the soap away? They also didn't bother replacing the tea, coffee, milk or shampoo. But soapgate is the thing that got me but it wasn't the last. Anyway I informed the slightly bemused but annoyed receptionist of our angst on our way out for dinner, she promised to rectify the problem. After a great dinner at La Mama we headed back but not before a couple of cocktails at Chocolat, I had the Rizz Fizz and Pippa had a Mojito. In returning to the room we did a quick check and found that all items had been duly replaced apart from the milk, so what you might say? Well it's 1245am, Pippa loves a cup of tea first thing in the morning and now I have to get up first thing in the morning to go get it. Why don't you ring room service you say? Well it's 1245am, I'm tired and don't want to wait up for another 30 mins to wait for a tiny sachet of milk. So Hilton, disappointing, I now have to come downstairs disheveled (it's not get ready shower time yet) to ask you for a sachet of milk. Better still I'll just wander into the restaurant area and grab a load of them as you'll probably need to ring room service where I'll have to wait for it. It's the little things you see, maybe you haven't got the right process in place because everything is driven by process, surely your staff have a room checklist they tick off, doesn't have to be paper, it's now 2019, create an app or knock something up to use on a phone or tablet, after each room they complete the checklist, management can then do audits and checks and stuff, maybe I should consult for you on customer experience and the journey? Does the Rad really have these problems? I don't know really as I haven't stayed in the Rad in Bucharest....yet.
