Had app for 12am Checked in @ 11:15pm Was in a door by 11:30pm. Finally got released @ 7:30am. 8 hrs to get unloaded + 329.00 & I didn't get paid a dime to set there all night. Now what's wrong with this picture? I'm giving it one because I have to!!!!

Been over 4 hours now waiting to unload. No telling how much longer it will be. When they're done they will be paid for unloading what they ordered... Very nice. Give someone something for free and that is exactly what they will think it is worth!

Can check in way before your delivery appointment. They will let you park in the big gravel spot. But no parking there after your unloaded. They got signs all over reminding you of leaving the property after delivery regardless of drive time.

I say we start boycotting these places until they hire there own crew to unload these trucks. 150 - 200 bucks to unload is ridiculous. I don't see why we have to pay for their crap that they ordered.

Regardless of what they say on the phone, don't check in until 2 hours before your appointment time because that's the soonest they'll take you. I was told on the phone that I could arrive and unload at 6pm. But when I got to the gate I was told the earliest I would get called was 10pm for a midnight appointment.

This was not to bad. It is different for everyone but I was in at 2:30 for a 3 am delivery and was done at 5:15. You have to know at these food warehouses, it will not likely be quick but this location has been consistently better than a lot of their other locations. I do not see why so many complain about the lumper fees they charge when you are not paying it anyway. Instead complain about the rates so instead of moving this freight for next to nothing, we can get the share we are due.

They charge me $329 to unload my truck of 18 palettes that took 2 and a 1/2 hours. They said they had to break it down into 48 different palettes what happens to the product after it gets off my truck is not my concern and I shouldn't have to pay for it

Arrived at 2356 for 0030 apt. Told to wait in staging area until they call... 0230 lady pulls up and ask if I'm unloaded I said no and she asked if I have a gate pass? Yes and show her. They didn't even know I was there. 0300 I get a door. 0650 unloaded...plus $389 lumper fee for 13 pallets!

Will kick you out of lot after you deliver at night even if you have no hours to drive and are in violation and there's no where to park

No matter which one you go to its going to take three to ten hours to get unloaded and they treat you like a no good truck driver at everyone. And they are barely capable of unloading a truck. Every single one of them have a smokeing area just outside the drivers enterance. Stinks like a sewer put it by the main enterance so you owners can smell it. We drivers are keeping America alive and get the dirty end of the stick. Especially at associated grocers. You suck.

Write your trailer number, phone number, company name on paperwork. Hand the guard your paperwork and you drivers license. She will tel you to park to the right and wait for call. I didn't even get parked. Parked in dock took paperwork to door 49. Checked in and to the lumper Back to the truck to sleep while waiting. They will call with lumper amount.

I live in Calgary, and was travelling through McBride last weekend. I needed to grab a few groceries to make dinner when I got home, and we decided to stop at AG Foods in McBride so we could stretch our legs. VERY IMPRESSED!! The produce and meat was fresh and great quality, and the buns tasted like they were fresh baked at home. I usually buy extra lean burger, but there was only lean burger so I bought a package of that. I honestly drained off less fat than I usually have to drain off of the extra lean prepackaged burger I buy at home. The staff was so friendly and helpful... THANK YOU for the great shopping experience :)

Got there at 12:30 went straight to a door then waited 2 hrs before they started unloading me then another 4 and a half for paper work. Process was slow as molasses fresh out the freezer. Other then that everybody was cool.

Why is everyone fretting about being kicked off property after being unloaded? All you have to do is delay until you re ready to leave by having difficulty in getting your lumper fee express codes. Simple as that. No receiver will kick you off property without being paid first.

Had a 2200 appointment. Got docked and paid a 329 dollar lumper then waited over 6 hours to unload. The last time I was here it took over 8 hours to get out. UNEXCEPTABLE!!! I drive OTR and have been to so may different locations and not once have ever encountered a place this slow. Even Americold and Wal-Mart are faster then these people.

Really humid (though, that's not ag's fault) pretty easy in and out. Check in with guard on the way in, if early (i was about 5 hrs early), guard will probably park you and call you when door is ready, she tells you door when she (was a woman in my experience) calls. Anyway, back in door and then take paperwork and seal to door 49, and talk to lumper, they call you when unloaded and you have to leave, no matter what. That kind of sucks...

00:00 fri appt. check in @ 22:17 thurs. wait 40 mins for door. Unloaded and paid lumper in 1.5 hrs. Wait on bills for another 1.5 hrs on 10 pallets. Seen worse but seen a lot better

As usual with grocery DC they go by appt only though they have a staging area on site. Lumper fees are super high and they are slow slow slow ...took them 3hrs to unload 14skids that didn't need restacking, bring lots of patience with you.

In the door at 10 PM the bumpers got it off quick but it s now 630 am And I m still in the door waiting to get received this is one of the worst associated grocers warehouse live ever been to looks like they need to be retrained

No overnight parking for the weary driver that just busted his butt all day to get there, then be robbed (take care of your own utility bill [lumpers] people), then be kicked out like a stinking bum at the White House door.

They have plenty of room that they could easily make into truck parking, but they're so evil, they won't do so (because they must think it's funny [there's no other reason] to watch truckers fall asleep at the wheel and kill innocent people).

What a bunch of sick and disturbed P.O.S.s.

First time delivering to this facility and it was not bad.My Appmnt was at 12 midnight.checked in at 11:30pm....got a door at 11:40pm....out by 2am....full load ....paid 149.00 lumper.....no overnight parcking....4 stars because lady in guard shack was rude and with bad manners.

Receiving 1800-0600. You cannot arrive before 1800. They have a big gravel staging lot that you cannot park in after you are unloaded. They have a sign that says you MUST leave the property when empty, regardless of your DOT hours.

The 1 star is for being able to go there early and park but you gotta leave when empty . But other than that it is usually takes 7hrs to unload so be prepared...all the 4 and 5 star reviews you see are fake news

Pretty good place to go. They have parking if you are unloading there, but you cant stay after you have unloaded. I had a pretty good size breakdown on my load and they were quick to unload and get the bill back to me.

It really should be 0 stars. Got here about an hour before my appointment and in a door about 30 mins. However, they didn't start unloading my trailer until about 4:30 am. It took over an hour after paying the lumper service for them to give the signed bills.

Got there a bit too early, you will not be able to check in until 16:00 but they have on site parking for deliveries and will call you when dock is available, friendly staff and guard shack employees. Was a quick unload when in dock. Would come again.

The two stars are for the large areas to park and dock. An hour after I was docked I was waken up and told to move to another door.Checked in@0100 ,was released at 0845 but had 0500 writen on my BOLs.SMH.

Not bad, security is nice. Receiving is nice. Once you pull in write down your phone number and trailer number on the bottom of your Bill's. Then pull over in the dirt lot to the right to park and wait for them to call you. There is absolutely no overnight parking. But you can come early if you're delivering. But once you're empty gotta go. Once you get a phone call head to your door. Reefers are in the back past the dry vans. There's enough room to do a straight line back barely if you setup correctly. Open doors, hit the dock and chock wheels. No need for a safety vest or key card or anything like that. The check in door is between the trailers up some stairs. Keep straight and go around to the window to check in. Then give your paperwork around the back of the check in office to the lumper. (They are very nice too) then head back to your truck and wait for them to finish. Had a pleasant experience here.

Slow loading and even slower unloading, very slow, waste of time - note to self - read reviews before booking a load. Nice people overall but just a slow process. Think they take too many breaks.
Nice break room. Bathroom wasn't too clean, barely maintained. Also seems like most people that work here don't wash their hands after using the facilities.
Can't stay on property after loading/unloading. So make sure you charge $$$$ properly for loads coming or going out of here. 4 - 7 hours looks like the average talking to a few.

I don't know what is happening with drivers... 3 , 4 even 5 stars when in this place hates drivers, they prefer spend money and time letting you know that you are a piece of truck, a merchandise... no matter your driving time or if you're tired or sleepy... get out of here ... dog... where are we going to find a place to park early morning in this hell??
It's not about rights, just humanity.... is this the way to adore God... you owners... should be grateful for our hard work...
extremists with their demands but not with their work, appointment for 12:45 and it is 6:00 and still waiting

It's truly pathetic how Associated Grocers treat common carriers. As long as you have their product they ordered on your truck for welcome to stay on their property. But, the minute that they release you, get the **** off our property, your not welcome here anymore. They don't care if your fatigued or out of hrs.

This is a review for the distribution warehouse. Not the retail stores.

Horrible experience! Have delivered here twice in the last 2 months. They use a third party to handle receiving, Capstone Logistics. They charge driver/carrier to unload the product (lumper fees) $149 for one and $379 for the other. 5 to 6 hours to unload the truck both times. They do not allow trucks to remain on the property after the unloading is complete. Even if you run out of DOT hours. I do not recommend accepting loads going here unless you arrive with at least 8 hours available so that you can make it to a safe haven after they unload you. The Capstone ladies that run the office are nice and respectful. Just not in a hurry to get the load done. The gate officers on the otherhand are not as friendly.

Associated Grocers nor Capstone care one bit about your hours of service or the fact time spent sitting can cost hundreds of dollars of lost revenue.
