Very good brewery!! Have eaten there a few times and everything is great and fresh! The bowls are great (pictured below) along with their burgers and tacos! Everything in the menu is a total hit! Would totally recommend!

Stopped here for dinner on our way home from Canada. Great space for a brewery, very open and bright. Decent selection of beers. Homemade Rootbeer was not to my liking, I found it too spicy and not enough sweet. On the other hand, the lemonade was perfect. Very true lemon taste and tartness. The cheddar bison burger was REALLY good! Very nice taste and cooked perfectly. Yam fries were great too.
I was not a fan of Aslan for the first year they were open but they seem to have found themselves and are turning out great beer and fantastic food! It's always crowded for a reason. Aslan takes the title from Boundary Bay as the best brew pub in Bellingham with their maturing selection of beers, vast selection of gluten free options and great eats. Everything on the menu is good. The stand-out for me is the waffle fry poutine. Aslan also forces you to be social with large communal tables. This will be a plus for some and a minus for others but I count it as a plus. I've met some great people thanks to the seating arrangement.
If you haven't been to Aslan in a while, give them another shot. They're much improved!
Got in right as it opened, was promptly greeted with 2 bottles of water and a doggy dish of water for the pups. Service was super prompt, great suggestions from the wait staff, and of course, the beer is damn good!
Love this brewery! A few too many IPAs for my liking, but just a personal preference... Huge amount of seating, super friendly service, great vibe. That's not "poutine" but delicious nonetheless!
Outstanding stop. Major was very generous on allowing us to try any beer we were interested in and the beers were great. Ginger Rye Ale is extremely unique! Look forward to being back very soon!
Great experience. Beer is great with a lot of options. Food was amazing. Serving experience was unbelievable.
Nick. Let's hope you get this guy. His service to my table was amazing. As a restaurant manager, I hope for people like this on my team. He was attentive but not over bearing, fun and when our food accidently got not rung in (due to a totally innocent mistake!), Nick tracked down what happened and got the kitchen to make our food as fast as possible (and it tasted amazing).
Nick, you made our experience amazing. Keep being an amazing hospitality representative regardless of your position (you get that promotion tho!).
Aslan Brewing Company is a great place to go after mountain biking at Galbraith. An added bonus is that the patio is dog friendly. The food selection is good, and the items are reasonably priced. The draft beer and cider choices are always interesting to taste what's new.
Excellent place to stop on the way home from a BC fishing trip. We ordered the two different bison burgers cooked @ medium and split it: one side poutine and the other tomato soup. Fabulous! Pair it with a beer... A+. Place won't disappoint. Enjoy
Love that this a B Corp and organic! The beers and food are absolutely perfect. The poutine waffle fries totally hit the spot. Great spot for the whole family. We will be back!!
Great beers on tap, delicious food, and great interior design. Very spacious and they even have a mezzanine to rent for events. Customer service is always good!
Love how they brew and bottle on site and use all organic ingredients. Very happy to see them grow and expand as a company!
Good beer, enjoyed the lot 15 IPA. Good food, simple menu done well. We ate outside. Lots of servers, even though they were busy it was still good service.
I'm not usually one that enjoys small brewery's beer. But this place was amazing. Other places I've found try too hard and make terrible tasting beers. Aslan was not disappointing like others. Food was very good too. Probably the best burger I've ever had.
Food was delicious, but some of the servers you could clearly tell we're annoyed with customers coming in 30 Mins prior to the kitchen closing. Not that big of a deal... But Bellingham servers need to amp up there customer service
One of our favorite breweries in Bellingham. Great beer, great atmosphere and great food. My wife and I went on their brewery tour and had a blast! Highly recommend!
Love it, but EXPENSIVE. Really and seriously expensive considering it's a bar/brewery which is doing "in-house" all it's beers. You would expect cheaper prices since they are saving some money from intermediaries, but they just make that money and keep it to themselves. Now, the overall ratio price/quality is fair. Beers are amazing, best brewery in PNW. Food is simply delicious and extra tasty. Great quality for ingredients. However, food is especially expensive. We are loyal to Aslan, we drink their beers all the time, and you get an amazing experience in their "home" venue. Note: We drive 2hrs each way to Bellingham just to get drinks and dinner at their place every once in a while. We like Aslan that much!! Yet, it's expensive.
Loved the place and most of the good despite a tough, hopefully one-off, experience. Got the bean dip. Was good. Spicy! Got the jam tacos. Once some lime and hot sauce added they were excellent. Got the fish tacos, and 2 of the 3 were extremely fishy. Inedible fishy. Server didn't do a great job of dealing with it, but ultimately the restaurant did do the right thing. Manager was excellent as I explained the situation. Will be back.
Excellent vibe here! I'm not a beer drinker but I really like this place. The food is delicious (what I've had so far)! The only downer is that it gets kinda loud at times - hard to have conversations
If you want a feel for Bellingham, go to Aslan. The good is great. The beer is good. I highly recommend their down patrol with a Hawaiian bowl. Sooo good! I love that everything here is local. I believe the people that started the place are also local. Just lots of love put into everything they do here.
Really pleased with the beers. Food was good, about what you'd expect. Service was fast and capable. Looks like the bartender was getting a little overwhelmed when the bar is full.
Pretty decent food, but middle of the road beers. The Megathrust Triple IPA and Rauch Spezial were good. If you are after a better atmosphere, try the Aslan Depot Barrels and Blending around the corner which is a really cool spot with lots of sofas and plush seats (pretty darn cool for a beer bar) - they have several guest taps there with some great choices.
Great food, terrible service. Our waiter was not attentive and had really disappointing customer service skills. Sat for almost 30 mins without being checked on. We will be ordering curbside pickup from now on to save time.
Delish and fun beers, and their Hawaiian pork bowl was super yummy! They have nice outdoor seating that is dog friendly as well! Highly recommend stopping here if you re in the area!
Delicious beer and burgers. Had the bison bacon burger, bean dip, pale ale, and brut beer. Really enjoyed all. Others at the table had great things to say about the disco lemonade and the batch 15.
I've been here a few times and I love this place. Great ambiance, great selection of beers, and surprisingly good food. I love the tacos and poutine in particular. It can get crowded on the weekends, so if you have a larger group and go during peak times, be prepared to wait.
Beer was fantastic and nice location. Staff was friendly. 3 stars is simply for the food that was pretty over priced for it's quality. We ordered salads and a bowl so can't speak on the rest of the menu. Would definitely go back for beer but wouldn't eat here again
Great food to start with. The beer started a little shaky to be honest, but has since improved. I have a few favorites, and a few not-so-favorite, but is a great place to go since they have so many options.
