I didn't think a lamer place than Vancouver existed to party and then I came here

This is a great place, great food and beer! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Their poutine and Mac N cheese are amazing! It's pretty cool to see the actual brewery right behind the bar. Oh don't forget to try their churros for desert, mmmmmm They have new beers all the time and some that stay on the menu, the Stout was my favorite. They have something for everyone, ciders included.

Great selection of seasonal beers. Upstairs was closed for private party but seems like it would be a neat place to sit.

Nice choices for vegan and non vegan. Great beer. Tried one with hint of cucumber. It was refreshing. Service was great also.

Staff is knowledgeable and attentive and there are lots of them. Really great food and some great/some so-so beers. Craft beer is everywhere in Washington (337 breweries and counting) so brewers always need their A game however not all have food available and this is where Aslan delivers. I rate the bison cheese burger as one of the two best burgers I have ever had (and I'm 64) but since this was most recent it holds #1! Had FIFA with it which was fantastic. Followed that with BHam Brown which was so so. I had a French Vitriote Brown Ale in Paris two weeks ago that was better and the French are not known as brewers. All in all the beer choices are extensive and individual tastes prevail so make your choices and decide. Worth the stop. Kid friendly with both indoor and outdoor seating.

Always tasty beers. Amazing food!! Staff is always awesome and super helpful.

Love this place. Great bartenders and staff. Fun to sit at the bar and watch the brewmasters work. Be prepared to wait a bit on high traffic nights. It's worth the wait.

Trendy place serving organic food and beers. Family-friendly. Solid beer line up with a great hazy flagship Batch 15. Food menu. Satisfy every palate, vegan and vegetarian offerings. I believe they could even satisfy fad diets keto, gluten free, etc). They get busy fast, so have patience if you show up during busy times.

Love this place! The beer is delicious and the atmosphere is great. Nice tall ceilings with a very modern/industrial interior design. Their food menu is pretty extensive as well and they also have a ton of outdoor seating.

This great bartender named Matt really enhanced my experience at Aslan. The beer was great but the recommendations were exactly what I wanted. I would definitely come here again.

I had a really great experience with friends and family here. The seating is similar to La Fiamma Burger in that there are larger tables capable of seating multiple parties. The burgers are quality, and the fries are delicious. They have a large variety of local beers to choose from so when in doubt get a beer flight and ask your waiter for suggestions.

Trendy atmosphere, good local beers, good friendly service. Food on the other hand 3/5. Tomatoe bisque was too sour even without the chimchuri sauce and the bacon bison burger was alittle dry with soggy buns. Overall 6/10 I've had better

Good atmosphere, good selection of beer and I was impressed with the food. I will be back. It is worth a day trip from Vancouver.

Prompt attention and service. Food was good and surroundings nice. Quality was good and serving size okay. Price was mid range fir value. Would go again.

Food is good, beer is great which means (unfortunately) long wait times. They do have a good system to get you a table asap. They charged be $22 to fill my 64oz growler with batch 15 when you can buy a six pack of the same beer for $10...

Mask up to enjoy a nice selection of great beer and food. The Waffle Fries Poutine is a favorite. Staff is awesome and service is excellent even during these Covid times. Cheers!

Great food, great brews. Awesome atmosphere and amazing service.

First time for me and old man. Went for our daughter's 32ND birthday along with our young granddaughter. We ordered craft beers, raspberry cider, coffee, root beer, ginger ale, poutin, bison burger, trifecta tacos, coconut curry bowl, tofu bowl, pork burger. ALL was delicious! Service was excellent.

Beers okay but growler prices are way more than anywhere else

Busy, but loud. The beer & food are great! Not a place to go if you want conversation though. Big, open building with nothing to absorb npise. Never had a bad meal or beer in this place. Lunch or dinner; it's all good!

Good food and beer but too loud and crowded. When the weather is nice I would sit outside.

The food was great, and the waitress efficient without intruding. We started with the poutine, which was very tasty. Followed with the bacon bison burger, and the grilled cheese sandwich. Worth another visit during one of my visits to Bellingham.

Food is excellent... but the beer not so much. You would think it would be better being a brewery and all.

Amazing food and amazing service! Loved everything we tried (poutine, bacon bison burger, curry, and beer float) and everyone was super cool and helpful! We sat at a barrel table that was pretty small and it was a little bit uncomfortable (especially for tall people lol ) but I still love the laid back aesthetic! It was very clean and they have a safe but comfortable setup for the whole COVID situation. Loved my experience and going back ASAP!

The Bison Burger was amazing, the kale salad was solid, and the beer was excellent.

Going to have to take away my stars for Aslan, forcing customers to buy a whole new growler for any draft every time is not feasible this far into COVID times. Customer service has also dropped highly unfortunately.

Usually this would be my go to spot for nice beer, food and maybe some conversation with whoever is running the bar. Unfortunately the last few times I have visited, I have been made to wait and given no service even though there were waiters standing by doing nothing but talking to one another and when I asked for service, I was told "this isn't my table, your waiter will be with you" 3 separate times before I walked out after about 15 minutes.

This most recent visit, my food was smashed in a box and the condition was undesirable when arriving at home, also it seems the portions have been quite literally halved for the sweet potato fries (for 5$ , halving the portion is pretty unfair or at least let the customer know when they said they have not been in for over 6 months and the portion size is significantly different.)

I'd really like to give a better review as I've been here quite often in the past and they've treated me well (I remember a bartender named Jake who was pleasant to be around), though being treated wrong multiple times in a row is very dissuading.

I don't drink alcohol but I think this brewery is calm and relaxing. Dogs are also welcome.

We had dinner here last night. The service was excellent! The food was great, and I loved the ginger rye beer. Thanks alsan. We will happily come back.

Great food and drinks. I loved the Disco Lemonade with raspberry and will definitely get it again. The outdoor seating area was nice, staff were all super friendly. They even brought a bowl of water out for my pup!

Let's face it, this is the best brewery in town. Every beer is balanced and refined, even though there are many inventive choices. The Ginger Rye is life. And the food is absolutely killer. I have been known to lure friends here under false pretenses for a chance at the Mac and cheese bites. ;)

The beer was good but the food and service was not that good. Found a crayon in the water bottle.

Aslan is my favorite restaurant/brewery in town. Beyond having an enjoyable range of beer (not JUST IPAs), every food item in the menu I've tried has been amazing. I'm especially a sucker for both the bison burgers, the chicken satay, the macaroni and cheese (best in town! The broccoli is a perfect addition!), and southwestern bowl. There's something on the menu - beer and food - for everyone, and the amount of vegan, vegetarian, and meat options makes it a great hangout spot for friends of all dietary flavors.

Wowzers. Group of 4 hungry men. All 4 dishes we ordered were homeruns! Best food I've ever had at a brewery. Good tap selection. Hostess and server were having a bit of an off-day, but experience was dynamite nonetheless

Great beer, brewery food, and service. If it weren t always so busy I d rate it 5 stars and I know they can t help that they re popular but it can make the experience stunted slightly if you re trying to have a conversation. The location is beautiful as well with huge windows and PNW styling. Also a great place to start if you re intended on a pub-crawl - schweinhaus is just a street over and a good next stop. Check it out, grab a beer or three, and enjoy!

This place is magical! The beers are great, and highly recommend their "staple" beers. The staff are very friendly, and very positive. Food was decent, but recommend the Fried Churro!

On a Friday or Saturday be prepared to wait at least 25 min to be seated, but it's worth it! Food is good, beer and cider are great. The people who work here are amazing and I always have a great time when I come in. It can get pretty loud but the vibes here are good, a must if you are visiting Bellingham.

Staff are welcoming and cool and always have good banter. The food is always on point and it's great for a light snack or a good hearty feed. I had a beer here on one of my trips called 'Captain Planet' and it was one of the best brews i'd ever tasted. My one regret is not being in town for a summers day to drink way too much on their patio which looks rad. I hope to get back to Bellingham soon to have another visit.

Awesome beer with a great selection and great bison burger with awesome service from the staff. I would recommend this brewery over all others in the Bellingham area. They also have live entertainment
