I went in to finance a few items on 4/11/16, and I was to meet with a girl I had spoken with two days before on the phone who said she would be there Monday night, she wasn't. The person who ended up helping me was completely clueless, he spoke to me like I was a complete idiot, when I felt I knew more than HE did! He had to have another employee come over and explain the financing process to me. While this was taking place, the kid who had been helping me, started picking his nose; in the middle of the showroom floor. I don't mean to be gross, but he had half of his finger, and then multiple fingers in his nose. I tried not to look, and I don't know if his coworkers noticed what he was doing, but it was impossible not to notice. It got to the point where, after about 3 minutes, I got sick to my stomach and couldn't even listen to the person explaining things to me anymore, and had to leave. I will never do business there, even though the furniture seemed decent enough.
I always have the best experience at Ashley s, everytime my friend & I visit this store we always get the best deal, Thanks to Dartanian. He is not pushy about selling stuff, he will let you choose what you want and make sure you ll get the best deal!!
Jeffrey was very nice and polite and did not push the sale but was very happy to answer all my questions and show me items I was interested in purchasing. Had to go back to the store next day and purchase an item I didn t get the night I bought my couches and had a very nice experience with another excellent staff member.
Was greeted as soon as we walked in, they had exactly what we wanted and in stock. Was done within 15 minutes and walking out. Excellent product and customer service!
When I came in no-one greeted me. I knew exactly what I wanted. When I was ready to check out the younger man looked confused. While checkong out one of the female employees was complaining about upper management. After the transaction went through. No one! not one of the 3 men that was there offered to help carry this large screen out untill I got to the door. Sadly I loved the piece I got but it didn't fit. I went to return it. Again 3 men and a woman watched me as I carried my screen back in. I was asked who helped me the day before and I told them. He yelled for the young man. Over all a very disappointing visit.
Travis wheeler was very helpful, professional and willing to wait for me to make a decision. since it was my first time buying furniture I was very picky, atleast on the mattress. I recommend this store highly.
Edit: Second visit. Robert "Beau" Sirmans was very helpful. Very professional and didn't hound me. Told me what I needed to know and didnt push anything. Will be shopping in the future. Shop here!
Theo walked around the store with us for over an hour to help us find a couch/sectional that we absolutely loved. It felt good to have a saleman who didnt rush us and absolutely cared we were happy with our purchase.
I ve been in this location twice for a dining table I had to wait on for shipment and Jeff was extremely helpful and professional. He answered any questions I had with ease and applied any info I needed on my table and I was in and out. Smooth sailing and I d definitely continue shopping with them for anything else I d need.
The Ashley Home Furniture Store located in Anchorage sent the wrong dining set that I originally purchased that was set to get shipped out to Barrow, Alaska. I had to take in all the trouble of paying for shipping, picking up & loading the 114lb set to my home, open it up to realize it was the wrong one, box it back up, send it back to Northern Air Cargo. Apparently, a worker put the wrong item # on the displayed set which caused the whole 3 week wait time. I was told that the correct set will not get sent out until the 1st set is sent back and recieved. Very little apology with no information of whether or not I will have to pay for shipping again until I asked to speak to a manager. I now have gone without a dining set for 3 weeks as I set down and packaged my old set. Very inconvenient.

When I walked out of the store, I felt happy with everything. Until I followed up with the 90 day lease information, and read more closely on what I was actually signing. I feel like the sales rep wasnt forthcoming with the details, or in explaining just how the 90 day lease can turn in to a 27 month lease with undisclosed interest. I'm disappointed; had the sales rep gone over the numbers with me thoroughly, mentioning details such as how much additional I am paying even if I pay it off before 90 days, versus paying it all at the store, I would have opted to pay it off then and there. I was led to believe that if I paid it off before 90 days, I would only pay the additional 49 dollars at the store. That is not what it is explained as on the lease paperwork. I feel betrayed, which is unfortunate. I can't say that I would have desire to shop there again, unless I intend to pay for my purchase in full.
I was in search of a new sofa for my living room at Ashley s. As soon as I walked in the door I found the right one. I ve shopped at Ashley s before and always found exactly what I needed! The staff was courteous, kind, knew their merchandise and was conscious of the COVID-19 virus by making sure everything was sterilized as guest entered and left the store. Also I live out by Big Lake and was shocked that their delivery charge was only $49.99. Sure beats having to trouble friends with a truck to pick up my sofa. In closing, I ve bought furniture in the past from Ashley s and have always been very happy with the selection and price!
Will Sparrow was absolutely wonderful! He was very helpful and made my choice of a sectional very easy and comfortable. There was no pressure to purchase something that I wasn t comfortable with. I will definitely be returning for all my furniture needs!
William Sparrow was very patient with me making two visits and circling the store multiple times to find exactly what I wanted with two children in tow! I really appreciated him - he gave me the right amount of space but was right there whenever i had a question.

1/21/2020 Upon reading this review, the store manager reached out and corrected the issue. He was kind, helpful and very professional. Everyone is human, and mistakes are made, but I'm definitely impressed with how they stepped up to the plate! Thank you!
As another reviewer mentioned, everything was quick and painless. No issues until we brought our twin bed home today to find out that we were only buying the headboard. At no point throughout the entire process were we made aware that the frame was not included. Now, we have to pay MORE money AND make another trip to their warehouse to pick up the extra piece. Poor customer service in helping us handle this situation and we will definitely not be shopping there in the future. Edit: purchased and picked up the frame only to find out they don't even include the hardware to piece it together with the headboard.

Will Sparrow is an excellent and efficient salesman. I gave him a vague idea of what type of sofa I was looking for, and he sold me the perfect sectional to turn my apartment into my home. Mary was swift in processing my payment and scheduling my delivery.
The lady who I talked over the phone was not very nice. She was rude and not knowledgeable about the questions. She sounds like she was drunk or mad with someone, and express that to me.im so done with that ashly when she said it is not her problem. Definitely no business with them again. I wish someone could listen our conversations since it is recorded. for Ashley customers service.
I came in knowing what I was looking for. Will, my sales rep, met me at the door and after a few questions was able to identify several products in the store that fit my needs. He was quick, helpful, and friendly. All in all, I was out of there in under 20 minutes.
Both of the sales people I dealt with were well informed and very pleasant to deal with. When I made my decision and purchase, the delivery folks gave me a two hour window, which was much better than I expected; not only that, the delivery truck was here right at the beginning of that window. They were professional, efficient, and very helpful in getting my new mattress set up. Great jobs all around!

Just bought a home in Alaska and needed to get the basics, like beds and chairs and a table and called Anchorage Ashley furniture and worked with GabbiAK , who was amazingly efficient,! and thanks to her, we will now have what we need to start our new adventure in Alaska! Will definitely be back!

The experience I had there was a nightmare. I bought a bedroom set with a memory foam mattress. The sales person neglected to tell me that I needed baseboards with it. So, when they delivered the set, the only thing that it came with was the box spring and the headboard. Who buys just a headboard without a base? Not only that, but the mattress they said would be in the 11th was still not in. The delivery date was quoted to be the 15th but when I took off work for that day, nothing showed up. I had to reset a delivery date and took off a day of work for no reason. Once I got the delivery and noticed that there was just the headboard, I gave them a call. The baseboards that they neglected to tell me I needed were an extra $400.00. Not wanting to pay that much extra and since I still had no mattress, I had to buy plastic and wrap up the boxspring and take it back to the warehouse. After that, drive back to the store to pick out a spring mattress and order the rails and base for the mattress. Still have no bed and am sleeping on an air mattress until my mattress is ready for pick up because I didn't want to pay another delivery fee. I appreciated the different sales person trying to fix the situation, but I will never be a customer for them again. Hopefully any of you that are going to shop there has a better experience than I did. Good luck.

Random was a fantastic help finding my couch. He gave me a layout of the store and let me do my thing. When it came time to buy my new couch he walked me through the whole process and made sure I got my military discount. Great store. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Great, inexpensive place to buy furniture in Anchorage! Earl Twillie greeted me as soon as I walked in and I showed him the colors I wanted and he lead me to some very nice couch selections that matched my needs, and were within a reasonable budget. He's very polite, and the rest of the staff is all smiles. The store is very clean and organized which also made it great shopping experience. Keep up the good work Ashely's, I will tell everyone to head to you first!
Went in for the 4th of July sale, even though it was crazy busy, we received directions and answers to our few questions. The price seemed reasonable for the couch we bought. Marianne Y was pleasant and remembered me and the couch I wanted when I returned the next day.
Travis was great. He was personable and made our purchase quick and simple. The only problem I had with the purchase was Ashley s $150 delivery fee. Ouch.
