I purchased 8 bar stools from Art Van in Feb of this year. 2 weeks after I put them together they started falling apart. i called the store I purchased them from and they said they would leave a message with the manager. I never heard back from the manager. I called 5 other times and got no response. I saw a one of there television commercials so I decided to call the store again because we only have 3 usable chairs. I finally got a manager and explained to her the situation. She told me since I got them in February and I did not buy a warranty there is nothing they can do for me because I waited so long to call. They can send a service person out to look at the but they will charge me 60 bucks. I told the manager so you sell junk and you back your products. she told me that if I would have called after I purchased them she said they might be able to help me. I told her I did she said she has no record on file of me ever calling. I said that figures. Bottom line I will never buy from Art Van again because they sell Junk and unless you buy a warranty they wont help you or return your phone calls.

Great Experience. Rich Lisaeth was amazing to work with. He genuinely took the time to listen to my needs and point me to furniture that would meet my requirements and keep my budget in mind. Rich gave me space when I needed it to make a decision and was available to answer all of my questions. The delivery of my furniture was on time and the delivery drivers were courteous and efficient. And it was a holiday weekend! I could not be happier with my furniture and the experience. Great job Art Van!

2nd shift trailer jockey literally came out of his truck and threatened to "whoop my ass" if I dropped a trailer in the only spot that I could because the lot was completely filled. Since I was already out of my truck, I said to him "I'd like to see you do it" and "where else can I put it then?". He backed off quickly, and said "I guess right there is fine, it's just that you container drivers think you can drop just anywhere.". Be a professional.

I just closed on my 1st house and needed to get furniture. Went in to see what options Art Van had available. I told my "salesman" i was comparing quality and value with gardner white and value city. Told him i was looking at for a sectional and he walked me to the clearance section and told me if i liked something to come find him. He then walked back to the front of the store by the rest of the "sales people". I mean what a joke! I work in sales and that was the poorest example of salesmanship i have ever seen. These people are jokes and will pray on the weak to just make a sale. They give Art Van a bad name and based on that experience i will never go back to Art Van and sway friends and family away from them. When he dropped me off and the clearance section i immediately left the store and when i walked past him at the front of the store all his buddies just stared at me. Sounds like they were intimidated to me. Management needs to teach these people to sell not be scum salesmen!

Keith Harris was our sales person. He was excellent. We had done our homework and knew which dining room chairs we wanted. We gave him the number, he looked it up and told us there were 6 chairs...We only needed 4 and he did all the paperwork and we picked them up out back. Great experience. The chair look awesome with the dining room table. Thank you.

Paul was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Not pushy at all!! We pretty much knew what we wanted but still had lots of questions! He patiently answered them all and when we were satisfied we had the right mattress, he wrote everything up & explained delivery & pickup options!! Even carried the sheets & mattress proprietor out to the car!! Would highly recommend!!!

Art Van called the day before delivery and gave us a 3 hour window for when they would be here.

The driver called about 10-15 minutes beforehand to give us a heads up on his arrival. He arrived within that window, assembled the table (the chairs were already assembled), and was on his way.

A special thank you for the guy who assembled the table. He did a great job and was both friendly and very professional.

Way to go Art Van for hiring a great individual!

Please check with the salesman and distribution center on the COLOR and HARDWARE before leaving and bringing it home. No hardware was sent with table and luckily I liked the darker grey chair cushions instead of light. But someone may have not.

Jason and James did a wonderful job of showing us what we wanted and what we had conveyed to them as our likes. They didn't try to take us off task and push us towards other pieces that we really didn't want. I would recommend both of them to anyone looking for furniture. Knowledgeable and not pushy.

ART VAN HAS NO INTEGRITY. If it were possible, I would choose NEGATIVE 5 stars. I write this review in the hope that someone in upper management with some decency reads it and reacts appropriately. I recently directed a young immigrant couple (with limited English abilities) to Art Van after they told me that they were having difficulty finding a reputable furniture store that they can afford. Their budget was $1,500.00. I knew about Art Van's Outlet showroom and so I recommended it to them. They didn't waste any time and within a week their bedroom furniture arrived, and all seemed to be well. When I asked how much they spent, they told me $2,100.00 and that they only needed to give the store $400 and the rest would be paid monthly over a year or so. When I asked to see the finance contract they signed, they told me that they did not get one. I called customer service but I was told that the signer would need to come in to the store. The next day I went along to translate and when we asked for copies of the invoice and finance contract, we were first told that neither are available. The staff would be able to view them on their computer screens, but they would not be able to print them. I complained and I finally got a self-described Office Manager to print copies of the invoices. They made one purchase, but they gave them two invoices. That struck me as odd and I was suspicious as to what end. After nearly 20 minutes of going back and forth with several staff members we were able to get to the bottom of what clearly is a con job. The young couple, with nearly zero English communication ability, were coerced to purchase items they could not afford, enter into a lease-to-own binding agreement that will in effect cause them to pay $5,128.95 for the items they purchased, and just for signing the agreement they got to pay $51.94. So, they didn't buy anything, and for all intents and purposes they are now renting this furniture. The down payment they thought they put down, is deceptively camouflaged as a "refundable lease deposit" that the finance company will apply as their final payment only after the 27 payments of $173.63 each is collected every two weeks! Art Van, your actions are reprehensible and unacceptable.

The customer service was great. I purchased a kitchen cart that turned out wonderful, just as I saw in the store. The only thing is that I had to assemble it myself. It was so many pieces I almost threw it out the window. I will never buy anything that needs assembling again from Art Van.

I've spent over 50k at art Van in the past two years, service and quality used to be great here for a very long time but it's gone waaaay down hill since.
I've had problems with delivery on two occasions, also scheduling service and replacement of the wrong items sent was a small nigjtmere. Time windows not accurate, crappy quality and overpriced lamps that I had to assemble myself.

Buyer Beware: price posted on furniture is the sal...

Buyer Beware: price posted on furniture is the sale price. Even though the price posted will have a % off tag right next to the posted price, allowing us to assume that we will get that percentage off the posted price, it turns out tot be a sham.
I feel the % off ticket was a misrepresentation of the sale price, and it certainly wasn't a liquidation sale price.
It seems if a price is posted and you have a sales % tag right next to it, that you will get that % off the posted price. NOT at Art Van.
The salesperson had to explain this to me several times since I believe this is illegal.
There were not enough sales people on the floor and the ones that were there were overwhelmed and certainly expressed feelings of anger and unfairness.
I hope to re-negotiate the price of the item I purchased since the price was not what I consider to be a "sales/liquidation" price, which should be more like 50% off - not 15-20%.

I walked in, salesmen was a great guy. I spent 6 grand that day. I paid for Delivery. My couch didn t come for two months. My bed showed up the next week. The movers walked on my carpeted house with their work boots. After I politely asked the worker to please remove his boots he responded I am taking my boots off . They proceeded to push my bed upstairs ripping the mattress. I called customer service and no one took care of me. I will now go to Gardner White every single time.

I received amazingly exceptional service from Art Van sales associate Keith H. He was not pushy or irritating. He stood to the side barely noticable......except when I thought of a possible question and turned around to look for him and "boom!" He was there! Lol I was amazed, he was like "superman" , I felt a bit bad cause i kinda ignored him a bit earlier when walking into the store. I just have had bad experiences in the past with other stores that seem to birth pushy irrigant sales rep. But after this experience, I feel like maybe some companies have a different approach with their business tactic. To sum it all up, I had a very positive, refreshing shopping experience and definitely can't wait to do it again at Art Van! Thank you !!

Although my transaction was quick and smooth I highly doubt I got the price I should have. The pricing on budget mattresses was not marked. He took off about $40 bucks but I think I still overpaid for the item. About $50 or more. I ll be sure to bring an ad next time. The salesman was fast and friendly; which helped but overpaying always sucks.

Me and my husband had a initial bad experience with a salesman very pushy and obnoxious . Then he sent us over to Rich who has been great. I took my Mom there over the weekend so she could buy a bedroom set from him. He was super nice and helped her out alot. I will be calling him today to add a loveseat to my order. It's a pleasure dealing with him.

If I could give zero stars I would. Me and my husband went to Art Van to furnish our first place together. We bought a 7 piece living-room set and a king size bedroom set. The sales person we had was extremely nice but other than that the experience has been the worst. The furniture all LOOKS good at first but it is very cheaply made and fragile. We have had the furniture a little over a year and with only two adults using the reclining sofa and loveseat they are already breaking down. We used the progressive leasing program as we didn't have much to work with and ended up paying thousands of dollars for cheaply made furniture that will not last 5 years we will be lucky if it makes it past two. Save your money and go somewhere your investment will actually last or if you must penny pinch go to IKEA or order online. I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from here ever again!

Stay away from art van I bought a dining table they gave us a cleaner with it for additional $70 with free refill we started using that cleaner from day 1 after few months there was scratches , I went to the customer service and told them they said WE DONT COME INSPECT IT FOR FREE BECAUSE my receipt shows that I bought over 1 year I showed them some pictures shows these scratches and they said if you wanna get the table here we can inspect it BUT NOT FREE + they said its damaged so we cant fix it for free
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY IN ART VAN

Unfortunately, my husband and I are not happy with the service we have received with our purchase. Due to the fact that we spent so much money, we qualified for a free TV. Due to the fact that we put everything in layaway for a week until our house came through they talked us out of receiving the TV that day and told us we would get a email as soon as we made our purchase with the code to go pick up the TV the next day. A week later when we paid everything off, our sales guy forgot to include the TV in the invoice so he had to wait until we got it delivered another additional week before he could add it to the invoice. A week later came and he was not in for multiple days to talk to and the cell phone number he gave us would not work. Once we finally got a hold of him three days later, he told us it would take 7-10 business days for us to get the email for the free TV then you have to order through a website which will take another few weeks.

If I could give negative feedback I would. Furniture is cheaply made and over priced. Save yourself the sales pitch and empty promises, just do a bit of research and order your new furniture set online. You'll be much more happier. The couches I bought were $1650 it's been a little over 2 years with just myself and fiance sitting on them and it's pretty much ready for the curb. The handles all snapped just after the 1 year warrenty.. kinda funny right? Then they want 70 dollars for the first 30 minutes of someone comming out to tell me what's wrong when I can clearly see and explain what's wrong and then send someone else out to fix it at that rate AGAIN.. screw you guys. I'll fix it myself, I bet Art has not a 1 piece of furniture that sits in his showroom floor in his own home, BECAUSE IT'S GARBAGE and over priced. Assclowns..

We had a great salesperson, James Conley. He gave us enough space to look around by ourselves, but was always keeping an eye on us if we had questions. He was very knowledgeable about the various pieces we were looking for. In addition, he was patient and efficient. The store itself is set up well and is very clean. All our lives, we've browsed various furniture stores, but we always end up purchasing from Art Van.

Was quoted a price during a phone call to Wally at the Art Van Outlet store on 14 mile. Asked specifically if it was an Out-the-door price and was assured that price quote include tax and there would be no additional charges. When I arrived at the store to purchase, price changed. When I questioned Wally, his excuse was that he was on 2 phone calls at the same time - the inference was that somehow impacted his ability to do simple arithmetic. Art Van refused to honor quoted price even though Wally admitted his failure. Very disappointing!

I'm a first time buyer and he made it easy and was very clear about my options for what I was looking for. Thank you for assisting with a plan that works just for me. I would give less than one star if possible. The service department is beyond terrible. We purchased a sectional couch which had to be delivered twice because the first crew didn't know how to get it through the door. We recently moved and discovered paint from the doorway on the back and the frame was broke in half. Because we didn't move the furniture away from our wall where they placed it for us to inspect it, it was our fault for not noticing it and they won't do anything for us because it's beyond warranty. We spent over $20,000 at Art Van and all we are looking for is the piece to repair it but they won't even do that.. Stacy from the service group was beyond rude and apparently is the CEO because she won't allow us to speak to anyone else.

I will start by saying the two gentlemen were respectful and professional. However once assembly of my table began they found the some pieces to my table were not there and defected that results in an extra additional 4-day delivery to complete the assembly. I was also told prior by phone that ALL pieces would be in boxes including the four chairs. Nothing was in boxes that may have contributed to a small knick on the table! I'm now wondering if the set was a floor model?? Should I be compensated for this inconvenience? May I recieve a furniture polish care product for my table? Still love my set tho! The salesman, Darius was not overbearing or pushy to sell me something. He was very helpful and wanted me to be happy with a sofa that I loved. He worked with your interior designer, Sha to help with my indecisiveness.
I'm very happy with my purchase of a sectional and two tables. I would go back to that store and ask for him specifically.

Had a delivery scheduled for 1/11 and the delivery was made but they needed to return on the 12th because pieces were missing , now the 12th is my daughter's bday and plans are made but now we are waiting on the drivers instead of being the first delivery due to Art Van's mishap we were given a window of 2:15 - 5:15 but a bday dinner is scheduled for 4:30 .

After calling today February 18th, the lady let's us know it wont be here until MID MARCH now. Absolutely shameful. Very disappointed with the amount of money we were going to spend at art van to furnish a whole new house. We wont be taking out business back here anymore ever!

When I arrived, I was told one price for an item. A couple hours later (had to take kids home), I was told that price wasn't valid, and given a different price. Upon checkout, I was told an even higher price because I was using my Art Van card and the discount doesn't apply! What was originally supposed to be 20% off the item ended up being less than $100 off.... Cancelling my card and not going back; horrible customer service.

I can honestly swear by Art Van. Ever since I left my parents house, I ve always shopped with Art Van for my Furniture. My second apartment my wife and I furnished our entire apartment through Art Van. I strongly suggest the service protection plan,for any large piece of furniture you purchase(Sofas, couches, and etc) just to protect your investment. We ve had our furniture from Art Van for approximately 10yrs, we no longer have it due to a flood in our basement. Other then that we would still have it until today. I highly recommend Art Van to anyone.
