We are currently here, it is now the fourth day and we are thrilled. Food is great, something for everyone. The beach is super nice. My daughter loves the water park, so it's always the first place after breakfast. Despite the Corona time, we feel very comfortable here.

Those were wonderful 12 days I missed nothing ... thumbs up ... I'll be back ... thanks to the staff always friendly always there ...

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and cared for the environment even on cleaning. Spotless dining room and good food. A compliment to the very attentive and friendly head nurse.

It was a nice time but there are hardly any shopping possibilities the website of the hotel is wrong I am still waiting for the information about baby sitter service massages are too expensive I mean 1x45min 65euro that is full price and no surcharge or fees otherwise they make great here Program and the food is very tasty the pool bar closes at midnight sharp and then the end the staff was on average very nice but many could not be so stiff. Conclusion: a great vacation if you want to rest I would come again

Excellent service, many leisure options ... good beach. .quiet peaceful place

We stayed here for one night as our booked hotel was overbooked. The complex itself is very nice, restaurant and grounds were great. The beautiful sandy beach with the beach chairs invites you to swim. The staff was nice and the food was delicious. The bathrooms in the double rooms could be renovated. The air traffic over the hotel I found interesting. We were more disturbed by the car noise of the nearby motorway. I can not say much about the price-performance ratio. It is clear that we felt pretty comfortable here in the hotel.

I have been only on the beach and it was very nice and beautiful place

Hottel great, beach ok, but if you want to walk in the evening, then you have bad cards, there is nothing.

At the end of the season the visit to the hotel was very pleasant. The buffet is always fresh, clean and has a wide selection with different themes. Good offer of drinks. Rooms are clean and cleaned daily. The decor of the bungalow is basic, but adequate for me. Wi-Fi is free and on the beach and in the area with good reception. The beach is clean and the beds are comfortable and free. The pool is clean and windless on windy days. The location of the hotel is quiet in a no village with 2 shops. For shopping you can take the bus, a rental car or can walk about 2 km to the next town.

Very friendly staff. Nice location and great rooms. It's just a shame that it is an approach lane. But you get used to it. I will gladly come again

Perfect in everything. I enjoyed my vacation alot. My children were crying when we left the place. I have never seen sach a hospitality,happy faces, delicious food.Thank you Arina, we hope came back soon.

Nice hotel, service very nice, food varied and very tasty. Hotel directly on the beach.

This hotel offers exceptional food and service. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The pool is lovely and it s great to also have the sea so close- perfect for swimming and snorkelling. There are enough sun beds but the area immediately around the pool is busy. The entertainment is satisfactory and the Cretan night is great fun- even for the second time if you have a longer stay! The area around the hotel isn t that interesting but there are shops and cafes within a easy work. Otherwise the hotel has a perfect location to explore the East of the island and is only about 20 mins from Heraklion and Knossos- both of which are well worth a visit.

Nice hotel in a great beach location.
The beach is very narrow but really nice. The complex is generally very inviting and the food was always very varied and there was enough choice so that everyone could find something for themselves.
The pool bar is great and the drinks are very good and of high quality.
There are original Aperol which is not standard everywhere.
The staff always tries very hard, the waiters are all friendly and give everything only the lady at the front desk doesn't seem to have much fun with her job.

The only negative why I can only give 3 stars and not 5 was our room in the annex. It is very old and totally out of date. But there is a sea view.

The rooms that we saw from friends in the main building are renovated and beautiful.

The hotel is located near the center and the airport. Very friendly staff, good services, diversified food, beach arranged with loungers and fine sand, no stones, children's playground.

Excellent hotel! Loved it.
Pros:
1. Beautiful large sandy beach. And sandy flat flat bottom by the sea. Many lounges (free). And besides the usual and more soft as a bed (the first time I saw such). Plus a large pool on site.
2. They feed very well, a lot of different dishes, fruits, sweets, ice cream. Just do not try. It is difficult to leave without having dressed)
3. Rooms are clean, cleaned every day.
Minuses:
Only one - weak internet. Slow wi-fi with a weak signal, which also often falls off. But it works everywhere, even on the beach.

A great value for money, great location right on the sandy beach, huge pool, tasty food, very friendly staff, large rooms suitable for three people

A typical all inclusive hotel that is great if you want to sit around the pool or on the seafront all day. Pleasant reception staff, an efficient restaurant, food and drink available at the pool bar. The wine on tap was vile though. Beautiful location but we like to get around and had to hire a car (which wasn't expensive.) Signs in the bathroom say to put toilet paper in bin and not in toilet and that isn't something that sits well with the British! Though close to the airport there is no noise problem. Would recommend this hotel for people who like to stay in an all inclusive.

Great hotel, delicious food. A bit out of the way but with the bus one is in 20 minutes in Heraklion or anywhere else where something is going on.

Ultra dated structure ..... a shame sold for four stars !!

Luckily they are in the main building. Rooms are very nice there. Food was good and varied in the first 10 days. However, feel like it is wearing off. The service at the bars is underground. Long queues form here. How about a sensible realignment? Still a nice vacation in Corona times.

Overall okay hotel, apart from a few issues ...
Indeed, there is an air corridor above the hotel ... just above. The planes land 10 km further, that is to say right next to it for an airplane ... they have the landing gear down and are very low, therefore very noisy. There are planes from 5 a.m. to past midnight, and very often. It is therefore a significant inconvenience.
The sheets in the beds are too short. Not long enough to cover the mattress at the head and feet. Conclusion, if we want to have the sheet covering the mattress at the top, 20 cm is missing at the level of the feet.
The rooms all have a sea view ... but ours, like others, also has direct bearing on the construction going on downstairs. So, compressor, hammers, trucks, etc. From 7.45 am. It is therefore impossible to spend 5 minutes on the balcony or to leave the window open. Nice as calm between the planes and the work !!!
Animation side, after 4 days, just a pretty pathetic singer one evening ... without any display I have any program, and of course, nobody is aware of any animation programs ... moreover, no animator anywhere.
Decent food and friendly staff.

Great hotel. But the sea view is obstructed by needless structures

Great area for excursions is in the north, right in the middle of the island. This is our first time in Crete and we are so excited. The friendliness, courteous and helpful in the hotel and outside is overwhelming. The food is delicious. thank you for the hospitality

Very nice hotel the food is great there is a huge buffet there is something for everyone the rooms / bungalows are large and nicely decorated the doors are open with card this can sometimes be a real challenge as you get the card in a certain speed and out the door has to be unlocked but that's pretty funny to try

The beach is very nice and there are many beach chairs

What fascinates me personally is that the planes fly 50-100 meters above the ground over the hotel.

The sea is warm and clear even in strong waves and you can stand quite long because it is very shallow at the beginning

In addition to a sandy beach, there is also a very small offshore island next to which you can go snorkeling very well

Great food, beautiful pool, ugly rooms that urgently need renovation

It's very cool and cute! The lobby is huge and has good internet access. The food wasn't the best but edible. For example the fries were completely hard. The aqua park, pool and the sea were really cool! At the bar More

Super delicious food, very nice staff and a mega room with a sea view on the 4th floor. Even the manager, the massage ladies and the cleaning fairy asked every day whether everything was okay.

Structure a bit old but clean.
Excellent catering and entertainment service. Recommended

Everything was great in the hotel. You could live with the current corona restrictions. The planes that flew past the hotel on landing did not bother us.

Accommodation is a little dated. The overall hotel is nice so is the food and entertainment.

We are here at the moment and it is just nice, we are accommodated in the new outbuilding and can even access the pool from our terrace. The hygienic conditions are very well taken care of everywhere, at least by the staff.
The food is very good and there is something for every taste.
The animation is very good and a special compliment to the two entertainers. Overall, it's very child-friendly here.
All employees are always very nice and helpful

Excellent hotel and very friendly staff, very large structure with two games rooms for children, a theater for evening shows, a large dining room for lunch and dinner, a very large and central swimming pool, near the sea.

It is mediocre and today the sea took off a drowned cat and we would go else we would sit still. Also the beach bar has fairly expensive prices

Wonderful place ... we eat from God ... trained and very nice and polite ... only flaw the sea full of algae that nobody cleans ...

It a beautiful place ..with a hard working staff which it's take care of u , quality food so tasty, room in main building ... brilliant , fresh refurbished, our Luck was to receive a twin room so spacious,on top floor and very clean with an amazing sea view.we will not regret our choice on Crete.

Very nice structure and good kitchen!
But the room was always very dirty and with the continuous presence of cockroaches that were circling in the room (behind the sofa there were remains of other cockroaches long dead and never removed) ... despite our repeated complaints with the receptionists they don't have in any way settled the situation! They only provided us with an anti-insect spray.

This time of the year it's a bit windy, but it is still a lovely sunny place

Not to be considered a village of 4 stars: beach full of algae that are never removed, old and rusty umbrellas. As for the lack of imagination in preparing the first in three days I only saw spaghetti, rice and pasta with tomato sauce, frozen potato croquettes and hard meat. We want to talk about animation!?: It is squalid tonight they have surpassed the top of squalor . But that night is proposing dances that even the animators know how to dance. There is no village that does not have the initials. There is not a minimum of involvement, during the baby dance the entertainer turns his back to the audience on stage. I have been an animator in a village and I have never given back to the public and my head animator was always around with all the staff ready to organize evenings with a bit of joy with cabaret and shows that were involved small and large . By this I mean that you are really squalid! For the price paid I was expecting a lot but much more !!!!!

Personally, I did not like that much seagrass in the sea. And I think the cleanliness on the beach would have to be made more intense (sand times by hook, remove cigarette butts (many do not consider it necessary to dispose of their trash impossible something)) Hotel, staff and food was very good. It was also clean pool was also very nice. The evening program might have to be revised.

We felt very comfortable here: it was clean, had enough beach chairs and umbrellas and always friendly staff. The buffets were delicious and varied, the sea in mid-October still herrkich for swimming. We knew that the hotel was in the approach lane of Heraklion. It did not bother us at all, but was interesting to watch.

After a long time not taking a vacation I am happy to have chosen this beautiful place, all perfect. But a huge thank you goes to the Italian entertainers who made this holiday even more beautiful, I will never forget you

Great week-long vacation in the middle of May 2018 .... Hotel great, food great, weather great .... a point deduction because of the stray dog

Nice hotel, right on the sandy beach.
Partly old-fashioned but mostly modern and renovated. Staff friendly. Food tastes good and is varied. Bus stop right in front of the hotel is ideal for exploring the neighboring towns by yourself.

Update: The next day we got a call that we could change the room! We are only here for 2 days, but thank you that it is so uncomplicated, new pictures of the new room in the annex, worldwide difference!

Room:
We are fortunate to have the penultimate room on the property that has not been renovated ...
We booked because we especially liked the photos of the rooms, the first big disappointment on arrival.
In addition, we don't have WLAN in the room, but we do have in front of the door, but it doesn't help us, the data volume is then used up very quickly.
The bed is also very hard, both of us bones hurt in the morning and at night you don't know how to lie down.
Edit: we had complained about the room and the hard beds, only got an extra mattress on one side, as a married couple super, if you have to go up the mountain to sleep together ...

At least the room is clean, but with some flaws, we are just waiting for the shower head to fall on our heads. They had once forgotten to give us towels and were allowed to make our pilgrimage to the gate again before taking a shower.

So if you book here, you can have a super nice modern room for the money (see photos of the others) close to the hotel center with permanent WiFi, or in the last rows in the old, less nice rooms, it's just a shame that the price is the same .., at least we have the booked sea view, but as far as I can tell, all rooms have it.

Food and Drink
Here you really have to praise, large selection of drinks, and it also tastes like e.g. Mojito or beer (had worse in Egypt)
Food is also delicious except for the eggs, which unfortunately don't taste like anything.
You can book yourself in the Asia restaurant, we had done it, but the food was absolutely not ours, the sushi was hardly to eat, and the "fried" noodles were just boiled normal noodles with some vegetables. My wife is Asian and was more than disappointed with the selection and taste, went back to the main restaurant.

Staff:
Very friendly, entertainers nice and not intrusive, no permanent music at the hotel pool, everything was very relaxed, but as an adult I can already sing along to the evening children's program by heart , but that's not a criticism.
At the beach and pool, the staff also makes sure that someone has reserved towels with towels, and then nobody comes for hours, then the towels are taken down, which I think is right.

Connection:
Heraklion is only 15-20 minutes away, the bus comes every 40-50 minutes, costs about 1.70 EUR per person, taxi about 20 EUR city, airport about 15-20 EUR. Otherwise, rental cars are available everywhere for little money. It's worth it!

By and large, we would not come here again, but unfortunately nothing else was possible due to the Corona and our regularly planned vacation in the Philippines was a lot.

We will still enjoy the last few days :-)

We are here right now, very nice hotel, all super friendly, very well cared for, everything will be a great week.

Disappointment. Very close to the airport, on the one hand good, you can get there quickly, on the other hand you feel like at the train station, planes overhead, at least every 30 minutes, but at some point you get used to it. The foyer is super looks nice, new and well-kept. Unfortunately not the rooms. Mold in bathroom, clogged drain, balcony door hard to open. Rooms are only cleaned every 2nd day, allegedly because of Corona. WiFi doesn't work in the room, on the beach either, but if it's stormy, you could understand, not there in the room from the time you arrive, allegedly a technician has been on duty for days, still no WiFi.
The restaurant is also visually pretty. The offer is nominally large, but only a little is enjoyable. One often has the impression that nobody ever tastes it. Often it is too salty or completely tasteless. The "cooks" with the hot dishes slam the food onto your plate in a way that you can be happy when your own clothes stay clean. The cutlery that is not used or left is not cleared away, but rather sprayed with disinfectant along with the table top. After the manager was approached about it, not all of them continued like this, a day later some again. Most employees are friendly, but unfortunately not by default. Etc. Etc.
I can neither recommend the hotel nor will I be going back myself.

We stayed at the Arina Beach Hotel in mid-October. We really liked it there. Our room on the 4th floor No. 1420, as well as No. 1418 of our fellow travelers, with a sea view was fantastic: large, spacious, modern, clean.
The food was very varied and always delicious. Due to Corona, the buffet was served by the staff, but that never bothered us.
Natia at the reception, Antonios at the pool bar and our cleaning lady from the 4th floor, as well as the entire staff were very, very friendly and contributed to a great holiday.
Since the hotel was not fully booked, you could always find empty loungers at the pools and on the beach.
We would book the Arina Beach again at any time, we had nothing to complain about.

Great location, just 10 minutes from the center of Heraklion. All staff polite, perfect food, you should go to Asian Restaurant. Different food choices every day. The sweets offered by the restaurant are for a prize as they are very fresh and the Pastry Chef just has it !! Clean rooms and of course all the staff followed the security measures for the spread of corona virus ..
Very good swimming pools for children and plenty of sand for games with buckets etc ...

Great hotel food is great rooms are clean high praise

Were housed in the outbuilding. An absolute disaster In the room there was a TV bracket but the TV was dismantled, the bathroom was a complete disaster, everything was full of mold. After the shock at the front desk we asked for an alternative because we were also with a child [2 years old] and we were offered a room in the front area of the bungalows that was at least a bit better.

We stayed at this hotel for 9 days in early May 2019.
On the positive side:

The hotel and the complex are large. Also clean in the broadest sense. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The free loungers on the beach are really great. You also get a 15 minute spa voucher.
The food is very diverse.

On the negative:

The food is not the very best now. You shouldn't have too high expectations. A big minus point, however, are the drinks. They are very diluted with water. The cocktails don't taste particularly great now either.
