Great school that really cares about the kids and their learning.

We moved to the area and this is hands down the best school my son has EVER attended. The teachers, administration and support staff are excellent and caring. The school is clean, safe and orderly. Prepare to work and be educated! You will get out of it what you put into it but it is worth the pursuit. Your kids will have to work but all of their methods are fantastic. IF you are searching for more and better, this it it!

One of my grandsons graduated from Arete Prep; and another one is there now. The teachers, admin, and curriculum at this school are top notch! The kids are taught HOW to think vs WHAT to think. It's so nice to see young people discussing great ideas like truth, beauty, goodness, justice, etc. I highly recommend this school!

Mr. Gillingham the principal at Archway Arete, is a great leader! One of the most effective ways principals sway the tides of growth, teacher effectiveness and satisfaction, and lead overall, is being in classrooms and in front of students: you'll rarely find "Mr. G" in her office. The mission and vision of classical education he helps lead there is fantastic for youth to hear about the things that matter in life, with the teaching of virtue and moral values: honesty, integrity, character, etc. Keep up the brilliant work!

Great school, we have been impressed with everything.

I have four kids who attend Arete and have been at the school since its opening. It's always been an outstanding school but the handling of covid has been extremely impressive. The planning, communication, and care that the school has for its families is fantastic. If you want a school that will partner with you in your child's education as a whole human being, this is the school for you.

It is difficult to understand how much a school can impact your children until you are sitting at the dinner table hearing their lively and joy-filled conversations about virtue, their favorite stories, and the other content they learned that day - not to mention hearing them recite poetry. Most of the time I m secretly looking things up on the internet to keep up with their conversations. I am so deeply grateful for the opportunity to entrust my kids to this school. (Posted below is my son with the Headmaster on literary characters day!)

We love this school! We ve attended for 5 years. The teachers have a passion for the subjects they teach, which is contagious to the students. They re learning how to think critically and communicate clearly. All classes are AP level and prepare our child for college success!
