MacMechanic Review

Justin helped me immensely. I originally went in to update my iMac with a new hard drive and RAM. The computer worked flawlessly except for some other issues that popped up regarding input/output levels (having nothing to do with the updates). Over the course of the next two weeks, Justin helped me with a work-around. When that didn't solve the problem, he looked at my computer remotely and, though the issue was unrelated, he had me bring my computer in and fixed it without charge. Really appreciated the care and help.

First rate!. Went above and beyond. Knowledgeable. Resourceful. Great people.

Our association with MacMechanic goes back to Mic's Macs on the Mesa, so we are devoted clients. Joe from MacMechanic helped me save all the documents and files from my old computer whose hard drive stopped working. And when some of the files had corrupted during the transfer (only a single folder's worth, everything else was perfect), he was able to retrieve the originals and make sure I got all of the files I dearly wanted from my old computer. He spent the better part of a morning making sure I got some very specific files back, and I'm super grateful for the time and effort he put in.
I highly recommend MacMechanic for anyone who is having computer troubles. They were quick to return my calls, and were happy to help me with computer questions that slightly exceeded the boundaries of what I was specifically paying them for, such as setting up my new computer with my old computer's data, and creating a time machine out of the cloned drive. Everyone I spoke to struck me as polite, highly competent, and patient. Hopefully I won't need computer help again for a very long time, but when I do, I'm going back to MacMechanic.
