They don't discriminate.

They don't discriminate.
They despise all staff from cleaners to Directors. They are trying to rebuild their image at present because it is so bad in the construction industry.

**BEWARE** Do not approach this construction company for your project. They were HORRIBLE to deal with. They did not notify residents when they would turn off the hot water, or turned off the water all together. They were EXTREMELY rude to deal with over the phone. The WORST receptionists ever.. they should be fired. STAY CLEAR!!! If I could of given them less than 1 star, I would.

I would have given them 5 stars, but the built team were over demanding and hard work and did a lot of work back to front. We've only completed two sites for Ardmore Construction. The first was off the back of very bad publicity, Red warning lights and a poor reputation for stitching up sub-contractors. We had no issues at all on the first site, Durrants Village, Faygate. Complete work and got paid in full including retention. Just finished Sutton Point, Sutton and to date, the payments have been first class without issues.
Credit to their site surveyor, Danny Harrison Best on both sites, but obviously I cannot speak for all the other surveyors.
What I will say is that if you screw something up, you will get royally f****d. If they're in the wrong, make sure your end is tightly buttoned up and every single email is responded to properly otherwise you will leave yourself open.
Overall... we would work for Ardmore again and would also recommend them, but you need to be on the ball and respond to all correspondence and don't allow them to bully you and never take verbal instructions.
We didn't find them much different to Barratt Homes or Taylor Wimpey.
Below is a photo I took in a man cage 23 stories up looking into the 9 storey Atrium we rendered.

Worked very hard there for ayear as a sub-contracter and did not get paid fully.
Workers n contractors s are squeezed, also do not finally get paid.
this is the Ardmore way means no pay and bad treatment.
One surveyor bullied a project manager and also a design manager until they quit. He was proud of this and said his boss told him to be hard.
The family who owns company are suspicious of the workers and treat badly. The workers who do not speak English and do not understand are treated worst.

Absolute shambles and rip-off of a company. They have a poisonous / dangerous working environment, and it's frankly a miracle that no one has been seriously injured or killed.

Project management are pitted against one another in a dog eat dog environment.

Very harsh on subcontractors. They will use any fanciful or unscrupulous means necessary to avoid payment of subcontractor claims and retentions - forcing subbies into costly litigation. Do not tender for these charlatans.

Worked here for over 2 years and the overall management was shocking especially at director level, would avoid this company like the plague. Got promised the world as a graduate and was never given the right mentorship.

Ok

Please don't waste your time they will let you go with no notice but promise you long term work, everyone in Ardmore is expendable, managers a plenty and with no knowledge of basic procedures, a real cowboy setup where everyone lies to each other, horrible work environment, you have been warned, steer clear
