My family and I went to see the stinky cheese man over the weekend....my son really liked it... the performers were very energetic and involved with the audience .. it was a really cute show... I was kind of disappointed in the costumes.. I thought they could have done a lot better with looking like their character... they were just in regular clothes mostly with just a few props on them .. mostly made of what looked like bed sheets and recyclables... other than that it was a good show.

Great theatre with excellent productions. Some are better than others but I've never been disappointed. Parking can be a challenge in this area so consider alternative modes of transit if possible. Plenty of great restaurants at all price points nearby.

Nice place to take the kids. Performances are always kid-friendly and the seating arrangement is just the right size, allowing everyone to see from all angles. The price is right and discounts are often available. The actors are always phenomenal! I will keep coming back with my grands.

It's been years since I last went to the Arden but I'm so glad I went back. Every show there is a true treasure. Part of it is the layout of the theaters; they're wonderfully designed to fully immerse the audience in the performance. The performers are definitely the best part though.

There's a certain quality about the performers at the Arden that I can't quite put my finger on but they put on the best shows in town. It's the little things about the performances that will stick with you forever. I still remember like it was yesterday when Erronius was jogging between the sections of chairs counting his laps in the 2006 performance of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Likewise, I'm sure a decade down the line I'll still remember the Emcee coming around to hold hands with audience members and the other stars of the Kit Kat Club coming around to chat (in character) before the show Cabaret began.

If you haven't been to the Arden yet or if you've been away a while like I was, I urge you to go. It's an experience not to be missed!

I saw Once here, and it was truly magical in the Arden. I had seen clips of it at other more traditional theaters, but the Arden was able to use their theatre-in-the-round style to bring it to the next level. It was really cool to have the music surrounding you, and be able to see audience reactions across the room from your seat.

One minor thing I did think was a bit of an inconvenience was that the seating on rows near to the exits only had one entrance side, so you had to clamber over twenty people if you had a seat all the way on the end.

Very nice place. I watched the play "Gem of the Ocean" and the actors played their parts well. Seats were okay and the actors were very accommodating after the play. Good place for a trip with the family.

My wife and I saw Once on Broadway for our 10th dating anniversary several years ago, and when the chance to see it at the Arden came up for our 12th wedding anniversary this year, we jumped at it. We were not disappointed.

Once is a show that thrives on being in the scene, where you're transported to a bar in Dublin, a music shop, an apartment...and a Hoover shop. The setting in the round was more effective than the production was on Broadway. You're there, and in the middle of it, and the entire soundscape surrounds you.
The cast was top-notch. In a show like Once, where everybody is playing their own instruments the entire time, you need a level of dedication a cut above your usual musical: you can't relax if your downtime is also playing during the show! Musicality, both instrumental and vocal, was amazing. The a capella reprise of Gold was stunning, with the cast surrounding the audience on catwalks.

We loved it more than the original production on Broadway. We're thrilled with the production and the Arden. We'll be back.

This production of Ragtime is spectacular.

This production of Ragtime is spectacular.
Brilliant cast and staging. Theater in the round is so wonderful. I can t say enough in praise of this show.
Saw Ragtime on Broadway in 1999 with the original cast after it won many Tonys and I was so excited to see it again.
My takeaway, my laughter and tears were heightened in this production because of the trauma of this world we live in now.
Don t miss an opportunity to see theater as it s meant to be seen. Til October 27.

When I first told my 8 year old son that he was going to do this camp he was very upset. In fact, we had a fight about it. Much to both of our surprises he LOVED IT. Basically Arden Theater took a child who had no interest in acting and made it really fun. He is now not only willing, but interested in signing up for more. This is an extremely well thought out camp. It's very educational, and supportive and well done. At the end of every day parents are handed a summary of what was done, along with some guided questions that you can use to illicit a conversation between you and your child to learn more about his or her day. I was thoroughly blown away by this camp. It exceeded all of my expectations. A very grateful parent.

Puts on some very interesting plays including a few musicals. It is a rather small theater and the seating resembles a slight upgrade from your high school bleachers. Reasonably priced, it's a decent trade off.

74 Second to Judgement is an incredibly powerful and timely play that deals with very heavy topics that our society continues to struggle with. The cast is amazing in how they draw upon emotions in walking us through these complex issues.

Great play. Excellent and quality effort put forth by the actors. The Arden does a good job intreprating the theme and story in a small venue. Affordable ticket prices makes the Arden a very attractive value. Gem of the Ocean is a very good play.....See it and one should consider a membership subscription.

Today we went to the Arden to see a production of the Snow Queen. The play was great and the kids (4/5 age range) sat still throughout! The theatre is intimate with great seating. The actors were professional and entertaining. We had 6 adults and 7 kids and everyone enjoyed the show. Would easily go back. Parking is available right at the theatre (albeit tight fitting and not free but not expensive either).
