Arden Cahill Academy

Really bad ... my child was really sick the first day of the camp and couldn t come to the rest of the camp. I had to also cancel my 4 years as I couldn t leave my sick boy alone to drive 1h round trip to bring her. Right after the first day, I called to explain the situation and how my son (and daughter) couldn t make the camp at all and I had prepaid for all the after care, the lunches, the extra poney club ... and they refused to give me any kind of money back. That is on top of making you pay cash for a t.shirt that should clearly be part of the package.... or charging you 10$ to pay by card... the Poney club might as well be one poney that kids get sat on for a quick walk around the small courtyard... the pool time was apparently so short, my son described it as we jumped in and it was time to get out ... the rest is just a large loud classroom with not so great activities. When I picked them up... So here you have it. It looks good on paper ... but it s all made to just rip you off of your money it seems...... THEY DO NOT CARE FOR THE CHILDREN!

My granddaughter has been attending Arden Cahill since she was about 18 months old. She has been treated like a member of the Cahill family since the very first day. The attention the babies receive is unbelievably perfect. My granddaughter is now in the Third Grade and loves going to school. The education is advanced and the staff goes out of their way to make learning fun. I highly recommend Arden Cahill to my friends and patients. Great school if you want your child to excel and want them to be treated with respect and treated like a member of the Cahill family. Take a tour of the school and I assure you you will not be disappointed.

This school is just terrible, especially the teachers

i have gone to this school since kindergarten and have gone to the summer camps. This school is and amazing and a very child friendly school. I loved going there for school and camp. You make friends with everyone (younger and older). this school really prepares you for High School and even College. I graduated with the class of 2016, and I still talk to people who graduated years before me and are in College and they said that it helped them. I now work the camp at Cahill. I love this school and miss it very much. I highly recommend this school for kids as young as 2 months old - 8th grade.

I attended Arden Cahill from when I was two years old up until 8th grade. I made some long-lasting friends and the teachers prepared me well for high school. I believe the school has a very comfortable atmosphere and I would recommend it for any parent looking for a welcoming place for their children.

My son has been going here for a few years now. And I have grown more and more to really dislike this school. Some teachers are really great outstanding. But the rest are horrible. They are lazy. Not to mention they do not challenge the kids like they say. Not to mention the school is money hungry. Everything is a fee. Such a strict dress code. But no uniforms and claim freedom to express. A kid got charged $75 for a faulty battery FROM A 5 YEAR OLD computer. The computer itself is valued at $99. I m so glad my kids no longer attend this school. They are now adding a 9th grade but no expansion. Just squeezing the kids in a already tight school. Do yourself a favor and save your money for a better school !! My kids now go to a school. It costs more but honestly they are learning and growing way more than they could ever at Arden Cahill!

I started my daughter at Arden Cahill when she was less than a year old. I really loved the amenities available to the children. The classrooms were beautifully done, the activities in each room were age appropriate and encouraged play and learning, the grounds were serene and the kids went on walks/strolls to the farm everyday, as weather permitted. I had a few minor complaints at first, such as the trash can (where dirty diapers are disposed of) repeatedly being placed up against her crib and her being bitten (with bruises) twice within a week's time. However, the last and final straw with this school, and everyone in it, occurred shortly after my daughter's second birthday. When dropping her off in the morning I checked her bin to see if she needed any pull-ups. I saw that she was low so I went to my car to get more. I was out of the room for a couple of minutes. When I returned to the room all the kids were sitting against the wall in the back of the room. One of the teachers was standing over a student (younger than my child) hitting him in the face several times while yelling at him "No, No, No, No, No! NO biting!" She then pulled him to his feet by his arm and walked him to the "timeout" chair (which is when she saw me and turned beet red). I was beyond shocked! I collected ALL my daughter's belongings and went to the office to complain and officially withdraw her. Ms. Betty (the administrator of the infant center) seemed concerned about the incident and asked me to write a report on what I observed. She later called me back that day (and again few days later) to ask if I could rewrite my complaint, saying "Did she HIT him or TAP his mouth to stop him from biting? Did you hear the slap? Bc if she hit him,well,that would be grounds for termination, but if she was just teaching him not to bite..." It really gave me insight into the "culture of the school" and what was considered acceptable behavior. I ran into another parent months later and found out that teacher is still employed and that her daughter had an experience where she broke her arm in this same room and was not informed that her daughter had been hurt until SHE brought it to the school's attention the following Monday. I would not recommend this school to anyone and would encourage any parent who has a child there to pop in on them without announcement and observe what happens when you're not around.
