Scam company. They sell products knowing that they are useless due to abandoned software.
Archos once its objects sold does not care about the follow-up of its customers, I waited 1 years so that they send me back my electric bike which was under guarantee to finally never recover it by telling me that it was no longer available . They only made a transfer to me under pressure from my legal department and again they kept 50 euros for the transport costs!

Do not buy Archos, deplorable after-sales service, HS battery (inflated) on AC50DHE model after one year, after-sales service return no expertise but exchange supposedly standard, therefore new smartphone and 2 months later still swollen HS battery (bizarre battery with faulty crimping of the case and traces of wear on the barcode and other suspects, recovery battery ...?
The original battery was inflated after one year but the casing and barcode intact ...!
ARCHOS is one of my favorite brand. I have been a customer for years and have never been disappointed with their product!
The Archos Core 60s smartphone actually has good device properties. But:
The Android operating system collapses when charging or after charging the battery. After restarting the device, data must be backed up again.
We thought that only happened in the warm season. But it always happened.
All of this happened about 10 times in a year.
The battery doesn't last long either. We were used to better from the ARCHOS Power.
There is also no replacement battery. That's why we actually decided on the device.
Incoming messages and missed calls are now also missing. - A serious shortcoming if you first have to call up the SMS app, phone app and WhatsApp individually to discover new messages.
We have been very patient with the device and would now like to give it back after a year.
The retailer e-joker referred to the manufacturer because the return period would have expired.
Then we sent the device to the Archos Repair Center in France, about 18 EUR postage, one week by post. The receipt there was confirmed by email for February 25th, 2020. You can track the repair status on the service page. But no progress could be seen there.
We asked the service hotline at the end of March. They wanted to investigate, a replacement device would be provided. After the second call to the hotline, because we did not receive a message about this, we should now wait for a delivery to be received after April 14, 2020. Nothing happens. Nobody can be reached on the service hotline. On May 12th, 2020, an OXYGEN 57 4G 32GB with a poorer camera came as a replacement. The battery doesn't last long either. At least the system is stable.
Customer service looks different.

Flee this mark !!!!! Failure on a laptop Archos core 55s ultra. Portable sent in September, I'm promised a new phone (another model because so-called rupture) before November 1. Obviously 31 October morning, I am told that nothing has been sent yet .... My rage goes up !!!!!!!!!
Purchasing an Archos core 62s in December 2019, it worked for a week when nothing new fell on the phone, half of the touchscreen no longer worked.
Now the customer service ... Mdr there is no search by I tried to call them 3 times for 2 hours from 2pm to 4pm it's impossible to have them, it's incredible. It's not over I managed to get them once for tracking the phone they tell me we can't find it ...

A business of crooks, without exaggeration. Their EVs don't work, but they deny and force the referral which costs them more than a refund and have the dishonesty of wanting to charge the customer for additional referrals! As for after-sales / customer service enthusiasts, don't bother to answer by phone or online.
