Love the slide! Not for the faint hearted but so worth the money :-)
Love the slide! Not for the faint hearted but so worth the money :-)
Kids loved it, probably best to book in advance (which we didn't) but we luckily got squeezed in.
A great experience with the weather was deadly hot
great experience but it was hot as hell on the 23rd of july
It a great place to go for the hole family.
You can do as much or as little as you like
Very family oriented. And places to eat and drink. So you can stay all day.
Booked this for the family to do on our trip to London. There was some initial nervousness about the height but we explained it was quick and everyone looked happy as they came off. Queuing was very social and we chatted to a lovely French family whilst we awaited our fate ......I mean turn. The team working there were very good and efficient. Great views from the viewing area. Would recommend and would have loved a second go. Had to shuffle out of the bottom of the slide but I all of the people that I saw didn t fully slide out. I was reassured by the team member that I had time to get off.
Really enjoyed the Olympic Park, the AMO and the slide! Worth the money
Abit overpriced, but you get a good view and the slide is fun
great experience and hold on now it was fun and it went wildly strong.
Book to go on the slide on the 19 August for 2 clock. To then be told they are not letting any one on the slide as doing test . Because of the weather as was raining they said it could take 30 min so we waited till then. Then got told again that they are still testing it and it could be till 3.30 PM till they open it. The crew did say we can give money back or other day. I took my money back which could take 24 hours to 48. Cant belive this went for a family trip for half team as off for 2 weeks and this had to happen. Because of the rain
Although rather expensive it's an impressive view from the top on a clear day. Also the giant concave mirrors are great if you're a optics geek ;)
Overrated, expensive bar and not good for photography.
Not worth it to be honest . Expensive and its over in like 20 seconds . Not for the thrill seekers ! Go thorpe park instead . Its so quick and at some points so dark in there you cant see anything at all .
The Britain's biggest sculpture must be one of the most interesting ones in London. Great memories by capturing its grandor in photography.
Awesome day, a unique day out, awesome structure, not something you can do every day. Incredible experience.
The slide is very fun and exciting, although the wait isn't something to envy. The views are pretty good and it is generally a good experience.
Very friendly and welcoming staff, great to see Olympic Stadiums still being used. Amazing views across London, the sonic mirror was fun and the slide was great fun. The adrenaline is still pumping;)
Kl experience, but can't really quench the thirst of an adrenaline junkie
So much fun I did it twice repeat runs are discounted if not too busy. Excellent 360 view of London East end.
The construction is nothing special, definitely is original and different. I think that everybody should visit whole Olympic Park!
Very nice and modern designed with a lot of activities for young Childern and teenaged also it s very relaxing park for adults as well.
This place is awesome, you should visit this place .
Very cool staff, so gentle. Would give five stars if when you go up, previous to The Slide you d have the chance to drink a proper tea/coffee. It would be a must!
Great place if you have a head for heights. The location is by bridge 5 in Victoria park and it's a really nice place for a walk.
The staff were great - ready to answer questions about its construction and even the man in the elevator was really friendly. The mirrors are interesting and the views across London are nice. I think the addition of the slide will be a great improvement!
Well organised with covid measures put in place...good fun
Best place dude. I am from America and I enjoyed the visit. I truly recommend this place
Nice views, and then... ...the slide, the slide. Wheeeeeeee...
Stunning views over London.
Shame the helter skelter was sold out...
The Arcelormittal Orbit has a very good sight of the town. You can almost see whole London. Its a very high sculpture in Stratford. If you fear higher places maybe it's nothing for you, but you can always try of course. Nice all in all. I can highly recommend it.
Great slide. Worth it for the extra money over just the observation deck.
Staff were great and the ride is awesome. So much faster than I was expecting! If your in the area and fancy a thrill this is the place to go!
The viewing platform is great, such great views. I visited to do the slide which I was completely terrified about doing but totally loved it and am already looking into booking it again, definitely is a hair raising experience!! I also saw that you can abseil down the Arcelormittal?!
Make sure you phone ahead to check that the slide is running
Great view from the top of the sculpture and very fun descent. No need to be afraid: the glide is smooth.
Very local and it took me 9 years to actually visit. I feel very ashamed to be honest. they have also a slide a pool next to it and apparently thy do abseiling sometimes. just waiting for that abseiling so i can post a pic. a perfect day out for me considering i live in a city.
The world's tallest slide (slide).
Reservations are required.
You can see London from the east.
The Premier League West Ham Home grounds overlook London Stadium.
Great fun absailing down from the top with some amazing views of london
If you like good views you will probably like this.
The structure of the London 2012 Olympic brazier is one of those things that you don't appreciate at first, then you change your mind and find that you are really stupid. Going up to see the view is fantastic, you can see almost all of London and the Olympic village area. In addition, it is possible to go down either by elevator or by going downhill, skirting the whole structure outdoors. But the greatest emotion remains the highest slide in the world that starts from the penultimate floor. Almost 50 seconds of free descent in a tube placed after the Olympics. Do not miss and book which week before, so as not to give up. I recommend going there in the evening to see sunset and skyline in the dark.
Really nice views from the top of the Orbit. My teenage daughter loved the slide but my husband rated as an average thrill.
What a fantastic view of London from the top.. and you have to do the slide! I screamed all the way down but immediately wanted to do it again. Happy and welcoming staff also added to the experience. Highly recommended.
Amazing experience worth every penny especially with the membership.
One of the best views in London but the carpet descent doesn't give you the thrills you would expect
It's really cool because you can see a great skyline from here. I was expecting the information at the top to tell me more about the Olympic Games though.
Expensive for what it is, but the view of Olympic Park is beautiful.
40 seconds of thrill. No worries about this actually being tallest and longest tunnel, 11y old are allowed to slide!
A stunning view of London, but the price was high. Would have been nice with a cafe on the top.
Even if we didn't had a go on the slide we enjoyed the view and descending from the top on the stairs... Can't wait to get down on the slide next time we get there
Something different. Got better since they opened the slide which I've been down. It's very fast and mostly in the dark. Good fun.
Not a great deal going on here... Impressive views of the city. Worth visiting just to do the slide. There is a nearby play park and a decent Cafe / bar close by too. You'd only need to spend about an hour here at most.
Eeeeeek! I was terrified but so proud of myself for doing it.
I slid down the huge slide at the ArcelorMittal Orbit! It was great. We got there early with my friend so we were told we had to wait around 45 minutes! Even though there was no queue! But otherwise it was an amazing experience and was overall very fun!
it's good but just take kids , they charging 12.50 for an adult which I think it's too much expensive
I thought the slide was slow with no thrills. It was so slow that you didn't make it out of the end of the tube and had to crawl the last 6 ft to get out. Big hype, safety pads and hat but not as good as a helter skelter at an old fashioned fair.
Me and my family really enjoyed this place and we will definitely come back again.I like the spirit of this place.I can't never be bored here. Many things to see I love London. I will See you soon London.
The slide is good fun and pretty sanitised health and safety wise as you would expect. That said i did bang my head hard on the side at one point but i survived! I visited just after it opened so was pretty expensive at about 20 a ride. Would be worth doing at under 10 which it inevitably will be disvounted to when the initial popularity fades.
A disgusting manifestation of the Antichrist. Ruined the Olympic park. This excuse of an "art" exhibit belongs in the deepest pits of hell.
You can experience the autumn colours.. beautiful place for relaxing!!
It has some good views but if you're going up any other tall structure, give this a miss.
Great experience! Would love if you could do the slide more than once but really thrilling. Could do with a bit more things adding to the viewing platform.
Have to pay to go up but good views of the London skyline.
