We visited on a gray and windy day, but it was still worthwhile. The structure itself is pretty awesome, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the observation gallery had some helpful screens to tell you what you were looking at, and some cool big curved mirrors.
We went for the slide, which books up by Friday for Saturday, so get those tickets early. It's well organised and good fun - my tween son was impressed. We would go more often if it didn't take us 90 mins to get there. Allow about an hour for your visit, and get to the side 15 mins early for safely great and briefing.

This was absolutely amazing! I would definitely go again. However, it wasn t as fast as it made it seem so there is no need to be scared or get worked up about it being scary because it goes at a nice reasonable speed. The staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful, there is also a little gift shop which has lovely little things like pens, pencils, note pads and things to remember it by. I would highly recommend this as it was very fun and an awesome experience

This slide is a total waste of time and money! When I arrived at the slide they told us it was closed as they had been experiencing problems with the slide all morning. However I think that they should inform people in advance if they having problems with the slide not wait for customers to get there and then inform them. I booked the slide in advance therefore they had my details and it would take a few minutes to call people or even put a message on your website. Awful customer service :(

I will give it another rating when we have succeeded in doing the slide. It was being tested and found to have issues when we went for our booked slot. Still got to go to the viewing platform... And walk down the exterior spiral staircase

Great and unique experience. Very good views and the slide is very fun. Also recommend taking the stairs down from the platform, there is a cool exhibit of sounds from around east London. Only thing is that it is quite expensive considering you can only ride the slide once.

They don t sell tickets for the slide at the tickets desk!!! You can only book the tickets for the slide online!!! This is inadmissible!!! What if you don t have internet on roaming... or your phone battery died... or you you don t have a credit card... or you prefer to buy tickets at the entrance! I m very disappointed and I will never come back!!! Worst experience ever!

Fantastic experience, incredibly friendly and helpful staff ... we were there mid-week in the scottish half term holidays, so we had the place virtually to ourselves. Fantastic for our kids to walk round the Olympic Park and up to the top of Orbit.

An impressive monument that is reminiscent of the Atomium in Brussels. The breathtaking view of London offers a spectacle that will delight all audiences. Do not miss the mirror games on platform 1!
As for the slide, it's a great experience. 178 meters of descent for 40 seconds of thrill. A bit expensive all the same.

Weird looking thing. Only interesting feature is how weird it looks, almost as if the only reason it exists is because some bumbling oaf with half a brain and less of a clue was in charge of decision making at the time. Has a slide you can go down... also you can abseil down it if you absolutely have to.

I had tickets from a gift I received and it was surprisingly good. It was very simple just looking around but when it is not busy and on a nice day, it is rather soothing. Though, I am not sure if I would pay to do this.

Great views from the top and the slide is fun, although it was a little slow on the day we did it due to humidity. Quite pricey, though, especially for a family and it is best to book in advance. Even after booking, the wires were pretty long so be prepared for your visit to last a couple of hours. MLS

Much too expensive for what it is, the view is not incredible and the slide is for my part "nil" for the view I highly recommend "The Shard" which is a little more expensive, but the view is magnificent.
