Over crowed in an over populated city. We couldn't even see any of the sharks and most of the fish because there were too many people standing in front of the glass window. My mother in law brought my four children and I on a day she believed would be slow. Boy was she wrong. We are visiting from Texas and my children would have loved to see the penguins. Maybe next time.

Beautiful place to visit especially on a weekday morning. If you get in early enough you can watch the workers clean the tanks and catch shows presented by them. If fish aren't enough there is a Lorikeet house where you can feed birds and have them perch themselves on you to enjoy some nectar. Great for kids and adults alike.

Good fun for the whole family. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of how crowded it was. That's simply a byproduct of any successful business but it is a bit of a pain when you're schlepping around small children.

The touch tanks were amazing! I got to feel things i never thought i would in my life. The sea animals looked in good shape. They seemed to be taken care of. The place was huge. The only flaw is how everything was so expensive. I mean, it was acceptable because they had to make sure everything there was in good shape. Meaning that is what they put the money to. They also spend the money on helpong endangered sea creatures. The people that worked there were so nice and told a bunch of stories about the sea creatures.

This was the first time I've ever been to the Aquarium of the Pacific. It's pretty cool place to go, although it would of been better if there was not any construction going on. Nonetheless amazing place to take the family

I enjoyed my time at this aquarium ! I went on a Wednesday so there wasn't an insane amount of people. My favorite part of the day was watching the sea lions, they were very playful and had cool interactions with the staff. I did not eat at the scuba cafe, but some of the food looked pretty good, I'll give it a try next time. I went in for free due to free tickets but I wouldn't have mind paying the $20 plus. The exhibits were all fun to look at, I also highly recommend you buy the bird nectar right next to the main door that leads to the bird exhibit, the birds will want to land on you and drink out of the cup, it's pretty cool and a fun experience ! You'll have a great time.

Clean and interactive with great attractions! The parking and admission was reasonably priced and the attractions we're clean and responsible! This is a wonderful place to take the whole family.

It was nice to see all the different types of fishes. Beautiful location. Bit crowded and a bit smaller than expected. Suggest to go monday through friday less people so you can see more. You can see everything in like 2 hrs.

My son had a blast! The only down side is how packed it can get. Lots of lines to see the good stuff. Has to squeeze through people to catch a glimpse of the sharks. Overall good aquarium if you go at the right time.

Very fun aquarium but also very busy. More expensive than I anticipated but worth the payment. Lots of cool water guys and even some water birds to checkout. They have many touch tanks for kids too!

Pretty fun stop for out of towners like me. Large exhibits, lots of variety. Only flaw is that there's a significant portion of outside only exhibits and if it's cold and/or rainy, can really take the starch of your kiddos.

Fun trip...used a coupon and it took awhile for staff to figure out how to apply the disount, but they figured it out. Excited for expansion...it is crowded! Overall staff were friendly, cafe selection was vast and everyone had a good time.

Its okay and i went on the behind the scenes tour and it was just really boring the exibits are cool but you are just getting told nothing really about the marine life there with a few facts here and there.

This place is great! The staff are very friendly, and patient with the kids. I love the section outside where you can pet the sharks, rays, and horseshoe crabs. There is plenty to look at, and they have a new bird enclosure.
Very good for the whole family. Recently took grandma with us, who is in a wheelchair, and can't see very well, but even she had a great time because she could touch some of the animals, too!

Lots of interesting displays and so many animals to discover! Why the 3 stars? This place was WAY TOO CROWDED. I get it, we visited on a Saturday, we should expect many visitors. It was overly packed, IMO. You pay a steep admission fee for maybe 1.5 hours of exploring; for that price, some crowd control is in order. And I know this comes off as whiny; I don't meet to sound like a complainer. I just think people should be prepared for the crowds if they come to the aquarium on a weekend.

If you love aquariums this is the place to check out. The place has both indoor and outdoor sections. You can easily spend a couple of hours just browsing the exhibits. The shark touch tank seems to be the most popular with the kids. There is a cafe indoors, but there are also many restaurant options outside within walking distance. They have a parking garage which you have to pay at a pay kiosk before you leave. I deducted a star because their parking does not offer any places for vehicles that are tall or oversized.

Nice, little aquarium. Lots to see in what feels like a small space. Some exhibits felt kind of bare bones like the shark tank though the touch tank with smaller sharks make up for it. Lots of jellies if you're a fan. There is a lot of variety but again, the space feels kind of small. If you take your time though, you can definitely make a day of it.

This aquarium is in need of some attention. The glass is scratched and etched in a lot of areas making it difficult to see and appreciate the exhibits. The big tank feeding was definitely a must see while you're there. I would recommend going to the Monterey Bay Aquarium instead, it's worth the extra time and money.

This is a nice family day trip, although it feels like a small place.
They have a wide variety of species, such as seahorses, several sharks, penguins, jellyfish and birds.
I m not sure if I like the fact that they allow visitors to pet some of the animals such as sharks...
The educational part is great, everyone can learn something!
