Had a very good time as a new visitor. Was impressed with how well maintained everything is. All staff we encountered was polite and very friendly. We were treated with a smile at every exhibit. So much to see and even with a couple babys in our party we moved around well. Designated stroller parking made walking through displays easier. It was crowded but we still had great view of the giant tanks. Microphones at the penguin display made it easy to hear the informative presenter over all the oohs and aaahs. Again good time and so much to see.
Definitely recommend this place. My daughter loved it!!
You cant see everything in one day..n they are very kid friendly
Love this place! Enough said! So so many things to see! As a marine bio lover - I loved this place!
The exhibits were amazing to see. My only recommendation would be to put more lighting around the signage and pictures because some of them were very dim and hard to read.
Great for educational purposes. Great aesthetics for holistic substance users
We had a great time at the aquarium of the pacific. They have a lot of different tanks and exhibits here. It is indoors and outdoors with a lot of interactive zones to touch sharks or jellyfish, feed lorikeets, or view aquatic life. They have a food court (which does serve adult beverages) and a very nice gift shop. Popular with kids and parents. They have a very nice program to help accompany you on your visit and see where the different tanks are as well as what is in them. Lots of very beautiful views.
Had a great time here. We are used to the absolutely massive Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans,. That being said, this place was plenty large and had a ton of stuff to do. The shark petting tanks were an absolute blast, and the areas to watch the seals was very cool. Every staff member we came across was absolutely thrilled to talk and entertain with educational and entertaining information.
Kids had a ball they didn't want to leave love this place
It's a place where you can bring your kids and have a very good time together. Plenty of sea creatures to see and places to visit and experience.
This aquarium is very beautiful and filled with many aquatic animals. I recommend going to this place. You can go here to take pictures of these creatures. There are penguins too. If you are a person who work in the schools, have your students to here for a field trip.
Cool. Not too much different from time to time. Once you go you see everything. Expensive.
I loved coming here! They have a wide collection of sea creatures and I love their night discount which is 15 bucks per adult. It is a lot smaller than I remember as a kid but still just as fun.
Every time I go there is something new. Lots to learn about the Pacific Ocean. Great place to take kids.
The best aquarium my little family has ever seen. We spent 2-3 hours at the touch pools alone and that was after we took time to walk through the exhibit. If you don t love loud crazy chaos, try to go after the school group leave (around 1 pm). We also added on the whale watching excursion and saw common dolphins, bottle nose dolphins, 3 grey whales and one fin whale (in addition to birds and sea lions). I would absolutely go again if we had more time.
I come here every month. We love it. I tend to find new things each visit.
I have been to many aquariums around the world, from small city aquariums to Shedds Aquarium and Okinawa aquarium. I was initially very pumped since LA is the second largest city in the u.s. you would think their aquarium would be world class. But no, the aquarium is about 1/4 the size of all other major city aquariums, and the fish tanks are very boringly decorated. The shark tank is a joke, and the walk in Tunnel is not a complete half tunnel. I usually recommend sea world in San Diego, but with the orca scandal I have to sadly say no aquarium is worth visiting in Southern California.
It was awesome and it was my first time going to an aquarium i wanted to see a dolphin does anybody know where I can see one they are mine and my moms favorite animal
Only outside attractions are open. Staff are really nice.
Lovely aquarium and nice place for a corporate event
Great day out, lots of interactive displays, touch tanks & talks. Still fairly compact and food upstairs was a good & tasty combination.
Loved the sea lions! Great staff. Especially Maria.
I loved our trip here. Staff is very informative. Whale watching is awesome and theres plenty of spots to eat within walking distance.
Nice place for the family and for education and for having a good time
Love this place, I took my nephew there and he loved it. They have a great gift shop with lots of cool stuff!
This is an amazing place... my kids always have a blast here.. love the aquarium
Great aquarium... their is lots of interesting animals and thing to do and see. The honda center imax movie was fantastic.
If you go on the weekends go as soon as they open to avoid crouds. Needs some repairs on some of the tanks.
Amazing. The staff takes such good care of the animals. A big portion of you ticket goes towards a non profit to help teach the future about keeping our oceans clean and other initiatives.
We live in the Long Beach area and joined the Aquarium 2 years ago. we would go occasionally when someone would come to visit or when there was a special event. Our granddaughters moved here from Colorado and they love aquariums so we became members. We love going to see all the exhibits and enjoy more special events now that we are members! A fun way to spend the day any time.
When I went to the acuarium I forget my phone in my car but was my first time and unforgettable experience.
Perfect place to hang out and grab some dinner/lunch while enjoying the view and having a drink.
Great place to take the family and enjoy wonderful sea life
So fun.. Nice escape from the heat.. Food is too pricey tho.. Restrooms clean.. Staff friendly.. Lots to see and experience.. Great family day place..
Great aquarium right by the ocean. You get to learn so much about aquatic life from people who are passionate about what they do. Good shopping and dining options.
Great for an informative family outing. Membership recommended such a great value.
We had a blast. Even our 15mo was amazed and entranced by the exhibits.
Come here regularly with kids. Great place though gets crowded mid day. Season pass is the way to go.
Beautiful place super amazing things to see! The staff are nice and helpfull! The jellyfish are my personal favorite and I would highly recommended this place as an adult without kids this place is very cool! You can also touch a few of the animals. Super fun if you ask me.
Kids loved being able to touch the jellyfish and the birds
Nice place to bring kids to learn and explore the ocean kingdom.
Very nice aquarium! A little crowded on weekends, but the price is reasonable and there are good exhibits, both hands on and off.
This place was great! Perfect to spend a few hours. Indoor & outdoor fun. Bit on the expensive side. Exhibits upstairs & down stairs along with outside. The do trainings and little plays for kids.
Good place to spend time with family and kids. Part of it was closed down and it seems a bit cold inside. Liked their exhibitions and was surprised to see the parrots there.
Price wasn't bad but I feel like it did not meet my expectations
It's a nice place, but not enough big or amazing to pay that price. We did it very fast and that's it. No more to see.
Beautiful aquarium. Friendly informed staff. Excited for the new addition to be completed
Great place to check out if you're visiting Long Beach. Not the largest aquarium, but still enjoyable to check out. Beware coming during the week it's always busy because of the Middle School field trips.
Perfect for a trip with children. You can Spend all day at the aquarium learning and watching.
Its clean, not too big, not too small.
It has a educative areas where the kids can learn interesting and important things about the water and the sea life.
A lot of different species. You can see a shark lagoon and many others creatures from our underwater planet.
You can touch jellyfishes, sharks and manta rays.
Near in that area you can visit the "The Queen Mary".
I had a problem...I was looking at a seal for 10 seconds..then when he tries to look away..the seal farted and smelled like gasoline.
Beautiful animals. It was a little bit over priced for general admission.
It was under construction while we were there on vacation. We still went inside, it was so busy and packed full of people it was hard to move past exhibits seeing all the sealife. We ended up leaving earlier than planned because of it. We spent most the time out back at the shark and stingray pond. Which was awesome to touch them.
Great place to bring your kids. They never get board! Lots of activities including touch pools, fountains, small playground. Kind staffs. Not many food options inside, but you can come and go for a day. You need to pay your parking, though. Outside is not comfortable when there is rain because it is not completely covered. You need to bring your umbrella.
So much fun!! I really enjoyed the hands-on pools where you can touch starfish sharks, etc. The tour package was worth the extra too.
Fantastic! The food is a little pricey but that's my only complaint.
I got a penguin plush from here, sooo pretty good service
This aquarium is very informational for people of all different ages. Many hands on exhibits for everyone to see at touch. We were here for Moompetam to come be educated on the indigenous people who were here first on these coastal lands and are still here teaching and passing down traditions
Excellent natural habitat for many varieties of creatures we would otherwise never see!
My son and I go all the time and we have a great time, thank you
Great place to take family, and to learn about marine ecosystems...
What an amazing place for all ages. Hands on and interactive. Part of the Nemo movie plot line.so fun!
Most magical place in long beach! This is one of the best aquariums I have been to, and ive been to quite a few! A must see whether you are a local or a vacationer!
Amazing place to see variety of sea world. From the very tiny like jellyfish to the giant like shark, from single to multicolor creatures. It's worth money and time for any ages, even handicapped.
Great aquarium with lots of different fish and animals. Well maintained tanks and multiple shows with divers. A great place to visit, well worth the ticket price.
