One of the best aquariums to visit while in Long Beach. Otters exhibit is great!

No limited discount coupons at any Papa Jhon Pizza. I was felt like a they told me a lie. Aquarium was beautiful though.
This is a really nice place. Lots of things to see here. It is the best aquarium I've been to. If you like aquariums and you live in the area the yearly pass is a great deal, you can visit through the year for a decent price. There's a gift shop with a lot of cool things.
I love special adult only events! Beautiful sea creatures and a glass of wine! A lovely evening...
My Love & I Had A Great Time. I Wish I Had Some Of These Amazing Tanks In My Home.
ALWAYS A WONDERFUL STAFF WITH EXCELLENT KNOWLEDGE OF THE MARINE LIFE.
Great place to take your kids!!! Very educational and fun
Mask requirement is only checked at the gate, once inside, I see people either hang them at their chin or only covering their mouth but not the nose and there is no enforcement. But majority of people do have their masks on.
Fun for people of all ages. Great parking, friendly staff, plenty of exhibits, and it's right on the water. I absolutely love this place and looking forward to coming back soon.
Always worth the trip. Wide selection of fish cephalopods and amphibians!
Decent. Fun for kids. Not quite what we expected given the admission price, but not bad. Great area.
Very nice for my wife and I with our 10 month old. Even during the closed inside, we enjoyed the outside just as well.
Very Nice place for kids to learn about animals in the Ocean
A bit of a drive but so worth it. They have otter and shark tanks as well as touch tanks with all sorts of sea creatures. A little pricey to get in as well as for parking but worth it for the kids.
Fun great place got the family not to small bit not to big.
It's good place if you are going with children otherwise it's boaring
The elevators are good but small for two wheelchairs.
The staffs are super kind.
The Aquarium of the Pacific is pretty awesome. I believe that this aquarium is one of the best in California right next to Aquarium of Monterey. They have a great selection of marine animals. Including seal lions, pigeons, jelly fish, manta rays, sharks. starfishes and much much more.
The park has plenty of hands on activities for the all ages and its great for the whole family. It can seem small but that is a plus in my opinion cause it means there less to walk.
It was a great time with my grandbabies, good quality time ,and a first experience for them to pet the stingrays ,they loved it
It's beautiful and very informative, Take your time to explore every little corner. " parking" it's 8 dlls if you stamp your ticket at the aquarium. Food it's expensive. You can bring your own snacks and water. Have fun!
My child loves this place. Became a member so we can go here more often.
so amazing! would recommend going on weekdays though. its very crowded on the weekend.
Super crowded. Instead of a relaxing time with the grandkids, it was a tense time weaving through and around other families and strolers trying to get a peek at the exhibits. Parking lot took a 1/2 hour to get to, only to find it was full. No signs to let people know it was full till they got there. Crowed control though the aquarium was haphazard. ( unlike Disney) . I was dissapointed in the overall expience.
It was cool, but was done with everything in about an hour. Wouldn't really come back again, I've seen all that there is to see
A great aquarium that keeps improving, and with plans for more. Definitely a place to visit, for locals and tourists. Less busy during the school year. Even less busy during the school year after 1 PM when the school busses leave.
This aquarium was fun and educational but not for very long. When I went it was terribly crowded so everyone moved a little slower. The sea life was very interesting to see and learn about. You can let sharks, jellyfish, rays, and crabs.
The place was quite a below average aquarium. This place just put fish in tank. There was no high quality showings of fish. There were some sea life that were cool but it wasn't shown properly to make them seem better then they are. It was basically a fish show and tell. There was no aquatic conveyerbelt or any physical activities to participate in. The end
Great place for the whole family, amazing interactive exhibits.
Came here numerous times and we always find something new to learn. We like how it is very close by to various eating places or you can also take a nice walk close to the ocean or light tower.
My son loved the aquarium, we went early and beat the crowd. Both Admission and food were pricey but overall it was a great experience.
So many fish to look and touch and excellent place for Pokemon go users
Fantastic place for the whole family and inexpensive. I would recommend the to anyone.
So much to see n do our kids totally loved it n would like to go back anytime. The pools of aquatic life they can actually put there hands in n touch is there favorite.
Great way to spend an afternoon. Not too crowded with eateries within walking distances
Love, love, love this aquarium. Lots of exhibits put together in a sensible way to make it easier to understand the information
I liked it it was okay.. very informative. I paid 8.25 for a small can of beer that was all wrong.. I lasted about an hour and a half had to get out...
Loved this place for my 1year old. Between this and the zoo I would definitely do this instead. Much more for them to do. There is also plenty of parking and a few gift shops and food places inside.
Me and my daughter love this place so much and it's so big with lots of cool beautiful fish to see. Plus lots more
Beautiful fish tanks and fun learning opportunities for kids. The staff are professional and patient with the patrons. I do wish the seals had more room to swim though.
This is a 5 star content place, but loses a star for over crowding. Get there right at opening and then leave after 1 to 2 hrs. The year membership makes this a valuable option for someone with toddler age kids.
Had a blast with the family here. The season pass is a great deal. You can get it all done in half a day, parking is 8 bucks if you validate in the aquarium and there are great places to eat just a stones throw from the entrance. You can easily spend a whole day enjoying yourself in this awesome little spot. Just go on a week day because it gets packed on the weekends.
It's alright just to small make sure you get there coupon
Extradinary place to visit & enjoy. For most children the delight is getting to touch the small rays & sharks. Beautifully laid out and lots of exhibits, many interactive. Children will learn without knowing it. Must visit if you're in Long Beach, whether you're 4 or 94.
amazing aquarium tons of nice staff and wonderful aquatic animals.
Fun but I was expecting bigger animals like dolphins and maybe even small whales.. my expectations where to high for a small place. But it was still worth visiting.. the staff is friendly and it's a family friendly place.
A great aquarium experience for the whole family. Don't miss the bird feeding!
Great little gem in Long Beach. A world class aquarium.
Great for kids! Very educational. Lots of places to interact with the wildlife. Also, their shows have quite a bit of humor in them - the divers are especially funny. Their shop is competitively priced rather than most over priced museum shops. And most importantly, I got to touch a jellyfish while I was here.
Nice little educational place! The staff is super friendly
It was fun to see the jellies and frogs. Not near as cool as Sea world but still decent.
Everything they're top-notch great place for family good food at bubba gump's
Great place for friends and family to enjoy local marine life, learn about the ecosystem and experience the Long Beach Harbor
Children of all ages can get an up close and personal view of a variety of marine creatures here. Several exhibits allow you to reach inside the tanks and actually touch sharks, stingrays, crabs, etc. There's also an enclosure filled with exotic tropical birds who will perch themselves atop your head or arms if you have food to offer them (which you can purchase before entering). An interactive experience, Aquarium of the Pacific is a fun, exciting and educational visit for everyone. Just be sure to wear short or no-sleeved clothing to allow for reaching inside of tanks and bring a few wet wipes and maybe even a few paper towels for washing/drying. Of course, there are hand washing stations situated throughout the grounds, but it never hurts to bring a few extra, especially if you don't want to walk to find a station each time your little one leaves an exhibit.
Omg best birthday present ever lots of weird creatures from different parts of the ocean loved touching the sharks great place to take your family
We recently went to visit the Aquarium of the Pacific to see the new renovations they made and I have to say its beautiful! I especially enjoyed the new theatre and the smart yet quick take on environmental changes and societal impact using new innovations.
A lot of the aquarium has great exhibits that span across the globe. Many of their inhabitants are salt water species and are very beautiful to watch and enjoy. They also feature birds and amphibians as well. I enjoy coming to the Aquarium of the Pacific and am thinking about joining their membership since they do have events that make for interesting experiences. I highly recommend this place if you find yourself looking for fun and a little bit of learning.
Really great place for the kids to enjoy some sea animals clean and friendly and really close to our camping grounds
So much fun great for family kids and couples. Also you learn so much about animals and the world.
The staff was amazingly patient, we went with a group of kids for field trip. Staff was professional, kind and knowledgeable. Kids had a great experience, bathrooms were clean but most stalls were out of toilet paper. The sorrounding area makes it for a great day with many choices in food or other things to do even if it's only walking around. Parking was near and easy to find.
I'm a big fan of this aquarium. The price for entry is reasonable. Lots of diverse ocean life. I really enjoyed the interactive exhibits like the jellyfish and the sharks in the skates in the rays. My favorite exhibit was the sea otters, they are really fun to watch and they are very playful.
They also have a life-size replica of a blue whale and a baby blue whale right in the foyer area of the aquarium. I did not eat at the cafe that they have there but the prices are reasonable and the food selection is good as well.
I highly suggest that if you're in the Long Beach area to check out the aquarium bring the family and enjoy the day.
Went to the Nite Dive event. Was fun! Great group of diverse people in attendance. Live music was fun. DJs throughout the aquarium really cool. Drinks were pricey and a large portion of the front exhibit was closed but altogether worth going. Wish they would do it in the summer too.
Most of the attractions were down and there was no information posted anywhere until you had already paid the full price and got in to see for yourself. It's small and generally not that interesting for the price.
It's deceiving how large this place is! It's packed with amazing exhibits that are cool no matter what your age.
Great aquarium, prices are very reasonable, get there as soon as they open to avoid the crowds. Everyone is extremely nice and knowledgeable.
There is a lot of very interesting information about the sea, both local and around the world.
We had an amazing experience, although due to COVID 19 there were some restrictions, which is greatly appreciated, every thing was super organized, all the employees of Aquarium are friendly, helping.
Amazing species to see and wonderful tour on the boat with Harbor Breeze, my kids were so excited!
