Had an amazing time!! So much fun and a nice area to walk after. Would've liked to see turtles but it was a great time.

Fun to visit. Neat exhibits.. Over priced food of course, but it was good!

Been here before. This time we were only there for a few hours. Had time to kill before catching our flight at LA. They kindly kept our bags in a safe place until we were ready to leave.

If aquatic wildlife interests you this is a good place to go. Especially good for kids, but there's something for everyone. There are lots of good exhibits and many areas have scheduled talks throughout the day. The scheduled times are plentiful so there's a better chance of not missing anything you might want to hear. Some of the talks are by scuba divers while under water in the tanks. That'll stop anybody for a quick listen.

This is a small aquarium, but worth the visit. The staff members are nice are great at providing information on the animals. When we went, there was construction in the areas, but the large parking garage across the street provided a quick and easy access to the aquarium. There are neat outdoor exhibits where you can touch some sharks and the indoor jelly fish are beautiful! Their little movie show is outdated, but still has great information.

Always fun to spend time with friends and family at the aquarium!

Great place for schools and family. Make sure you get there early to avoid the crowds.

I love this place, it has a lot of variety of species, and touching the rays is something unforgettable, and also knowing so much about sharks is fascinating I recommend it for all ages I go every year the attention of the staff makes it feel at home

Top notch aquarium. Excellent exhibits.
They could have more of the larger sharks though, maybe lemon and nurse sharks?

The Aquarium was right outside the Long Beach Grand Prix. It was extremely engaging, so when you wanted a break from all the people talking in the aquarium, you could watch the racetrack.

For those with autism, it was very overstimulating making it overwhelming at times. The best place I found calming and not too noisy was the Lorakeet forest, which I went in 4 times.

I went back to the aquarium and loved it. I've posted some photos from my last visit.

This place was Awesome!! Me and Hubby try to visit one in every state . So much to see and great customer service.. so friendly and nice and informative

Once a year the Aquarium offers free admission to seniors over 50. When I visited it was a little crowded but still a pleasant experience for all ages.

It is a very nice aquarium, one of the best in the state. There is a lot to see and some special experiences that cost extra money if you want to do something most people cannot do or go to, like behind the scene peek at how things work here. Good restaurants near here too.

This Aquarium was clean and the staff was very helpful and informative.

Loved our experience here! I especially loved learning how to talk like a sea lion, that was a fun experience! Thanks to the diver for dressing up, making our Halloween experience a fun one!

This place was Awesome!!! Got to touch my first jellyfish! Also touched a shark, sting ray, and an ancient water bug. I would highly recommend.

We went to a special evening event for home school kids and it was fantastic. There were less than 100 people and the staff were still there to ask questions at several displays. The outdoor exhibits were hard to see because of no outdoor lighting but having so much room to roam and no lines of people in front of the glass was worth it.

It was extremely fun a really nice outing with my 2 year old son Make sure to wear nikes because I definitely do not remember it being that big *laughs* the staff there was beyond amazing.

Amazing jellyfish displays. Great touch tank available. Clean and nicely maintained.

Pretty boring. Same fish over and over again. It would be a lot better if the entrance fee was lower. But super expensive for nothing much!

We were pleasantly surprised how nice this aquarium is. Fantastic exhibits, lots of room to move around, and very knowledgeable staff. There is a large parking lot adjacent to the building; make sure you take your parking ticket for validation. Overall, a top-notch facility.

The aquarium is an interesting place to visit. However, visiting during a holiday season is a bad idea. The place was so crowded, that it wasn't very enjoyable. I will come back another time when it's not so busy.

Always love the Aquarium. When kids were young I used to have the tax deductible family membership, so very worth it's value. I do all I can to support the Aquarium's research.

Over priced for such a small amusement park. Food is wayyy over priced for basic food and small portions. Drinks come with paper straws, so when I buy my 3year old a smoothie and get a paper straw it instantly becomes soaking wet and falls apart inside her smoothie. $9 for a slice of cheese pizza that is smaller than a slice of pizza from dominos. Disneyland food may belre expensive but your getting large portions. Even Knotts is better with its food! The poor birds in the feeding area looked sick feathers all plucked out, ones that couldn t get off the ground to fly, one even was bleeding with a hole in its neck. Told the lady working the inside of the bird feeding area and she threw me a dirty look and walked away. $4 for a small little cap size nectar. San Diego zoo only charges $1. I wouldn t even pay $10 to come here. We had seen everything besides shows in less than 2 hrs and they want $30 an adult to get in. It s ridiculous.

Excellent aquarium. Extremely educational and fun. Lots of touch tanks. Always a variety and updated exhibits.

Great place for kids and adults alike! Along with all the various aquariums, they have different shows going on at different times. A couple of the kids in our group went to see the puppet show and had blast laughing their heads off! We all watched and enjoyed the otter show! There are Beverages and snacks in several locations to tide you over for a meal. There is an outdoor play area that has areas for climbing and water spray. We all had a blast! It was a little tight managing the stroller throughout the aquarium area. Since it was spring break the "stroller parking" was already full. We will definitely be going back again!

It's a really big place. Gift shops prices are ok, but food is expensive. Fun to see all of the different kinds of fish.

Great place for kiddos of all ages! They have several "full wall" exhibits and a few alcoves you can step in and be surrounded by ocean life. A fair amount of the exhibits are visible to tiny guests.

It did seem to be a bit small and was easily walked in a short amount of time without rushing. Expect to pay around $8 for parking, once validated.

The best bet may be to purchase the combo tickets that include a harbor cruise, whale watching, or a visit to the Iowa battleship.

This is medium to large sized aquarium. The animals seem to have great conditions and the staff are informative and helpful. Parking is easy, with a large structure nearby. Cost is reasonable, except food, expect to pay standard park prices.

Always love taking the kids here, and they have a great time checking out all of the exhibits.

My sons and daughter absolutely love this place. We have the annual pass and come here as often as we can.

Great place to have a membership. Open all year round. Great shows for small kids. The employees and volunteers are amazing and put 110% into the puppet shows.

Great place to go and spend time looking at the beautiful fish, etc the octopus exhibit was under construction though so that was a little disappointing.

Really interesting place to learn about our oceans world and very educational more to learn about the world. Thanks to the educated employees there please continue on teaching us about sea life.

The employees at this establishment were very pleasant and kind. The food that was served for our banquet was delicious.

Great place for families
Iots to do and see ,one of the bigger aquarium around and continues to expand. Close to other long beach sites including the queen Mary, and nearby ports and village

Decent Aquarium. 3 levels with lots to see and touch. I especially enjoyed the seals and penguin. Also great that entry is included in the Go Card. Burgers at the Cafe were also pretty good. It's a good way to spend a couple of hours of your time.

This aquarium was amazing! Quite large with some interactive events. So many different tyoes of fish and sea creatures to keep you occupied and learning for hours. I enjoyed a private behind the scenes tour I'll never forget because my friends new one of the workers there. I highly recommend touring through this aquarium!

We have the annual membership, n our 2yr old daughter loves it each time we go, thus we r planning to renew the membership this yr. Cant wait til they open the extended area adjacent to the main entrance

The only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because they usually have only one person working the bar carts outside, as was the case today. That line gets too long and moves slow.

Great place for a family outing. My toddler loved it. Really liked that there was a play area for kids. We always enjoy our visits to the aquarium.

Great variation of sea life here and staff are knowledgeable. It can get crowded though so be prepared for that when visiting. I know they serve food here but I haven't tried it - there are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance as well.

Wonderful experience. Music by the shark lagoon was awesome.

One of the best aquariums I have been too in a long time!!!

Great for younger kids. Older kids may not find it stimulating. Currently there is construction around the aquarium for its expansion. If getting the membership, be sure to get the parking pass package as well.
