My kids have loved going to the aquarium since the first time a few years back. It can get pretty packed Sophie we always try to go early morning when they open and are usually done by noon when the crowds stay coming in. Parking is also difficult after 11 am. Last time we went, Pokemon Go was a big distraction for me as there are plenty of Poke stops and gyms.

My son has autism and I thought it would be a bit much for him. The problem was trying to get him to leave at the end of the day.

Ok so I took my kids here on a very hot day it's was nice and cool which was great because mostly everything is inside sharks where outside...so we did everything in about 2 1/2 hours not worth the price bit to high...so I found out that after 3pm you pay $10.00 dollars...alsmot that the day is gone...instead of $40.00 for adults and children $18.00...next time will be here at 3.00pm you see this place in about 2hours...they close at 6:00pm

It was fun!!! We went on a family trip with our 2 kids --2 under 2. My old complaint is they need more food options!!! That's why it's 4 starts instead of 5. My kids loved that they had a bird exibit in addition to the marine life! We will come back again

Definitely worth going to visit. A lot of educational information about our earth and the animals. So much to see, so many different areas to explore. If you have time add on a boat tour. You'll love your visit.

Awesome! Was there for NYE, great idea, would do again. However, to get out of the parking after the event took a while so be prepared and be patient! Can also pay for parking upon exit (no cash) so no need to queue for the machines, the queues there were also horrendous.

Love this place. Can't wait till all the updates are finished and the construction is completed. If your from a land locked state and are visiting California. See this aquarium instead of sea world. Its a lot less expensive and has a lot fewer tormented animals.

Such a wonderful experience. Definitely worth the drive if you are coming from far away. The funniest thing there was the hammerhead shark art exhibit made out of various types of hammer heads.

This place is worth going, Love all of the Animals, Fish, Specially the Birdies. If you go you need to definitely buy nectar to hand feed the Beautiful Exotic Little Birdies. They're Sooo cute

Wow! My first time! I really enjoy all the exhibits. I was like a child looking for every stamp to complete my booklet but I miss one that was break down, the one that is in the sharks. . I enjoyed the show with the seals. And when you get in the parrot's cage be sure to have your nectar and camera ready, for me that experience was the funniest in the Aquarium. GBY

Awesome!! I had never visited The Aquarium of the Pacific and decided to take my grand daughter and daughter. We had a great time. I don't know what took me so long to go and visit this place but I'm so glad I finally experienced it.

The aquarium is decent. It's not as great as the Monterrey bay aquarium, but there are some great exhibits. I visited on a Saturday when school was out, so it was packed. To get the most out of your visit, plan ahead and try and go when there are less people. Parking can also be a challenge in the nearby garage.

My favorite part of everything was watching the big Huge Fish in the front Ive never seen one that big !, and the Big camouflaging Octopus, the Big Japanese Crab humongous I also loved seeing the seals how confidently they swim and how cute they get along with the Humans, the Sharks were good to view especially when they come up close to the glass, and the small 2 finger touch of the baby sharks were excellent. A side of that I took the cruise to go whale watching and the dolphins in Wide groups jumping up and down in the Ocean. Just Beautiful and amazing

there's soo many cool and interesting little aqua critters. but for the love of god and or science DON'T TOUCH THE GLASS. it's so unbelievably dirty and disgusting. especially if there's children around. the glass isn't opaque it's filthy. aside from that the info pamphlet that u get is actually kinda cool and full of interesting facts plus they got this little area where u can stamp the pages after you've read up on the specific critters. overall a cool thing to do and place to visit.

Lovely aquarium! But waaayyyyy too crowded when we went. It was hard to hear the volunteers let alone be able to see all the exhibits. There were masses of people inside already and herds in line buying tickets to come in. Overall feeling of claustrophobia. Or sardines.

It's may not be the biggest or the best, but if you're in Long Beach, and you love animals this is a must do. The staff is friendly, informative, and very engaging with kids and adults alike. Some highlights include the seal and sealion exhibit, and the lorikeet forest. All 'n all it's definitely worth the price, because it's a nonprofit, meaning that ever penny you sepend is a contribution to the welfare of the animals there. And the memories made, well, they makes for a nice bonus.
