It's smaller than what I expected but I like the big whale overhanging at the main lobby, if that what is called.
There is ample parking space and an elevator to boot.
It's a little odd to find birds, Lorikeet, in an aquarium place.
There are not enough signages to go around the place without the feeling of getting lost- there's this small yellow sheet of paper that shows the activities for the day, the time and the location of the show but there is no mention of it on the map.
The in-house eatery, Cafe Scuba, is a major disappointment. The food server of the pizzas seem to need a lot of training and guidance.
The place is good enough for a half day visit.

I really enjoyed this aquarium. It was super busy until about two hours before closing, but after that it was spectacular. My only complaint would be that many of the corals in the tanks are plastic, and quite obviously so

Went for the special on 11/23/18 which was half off after four. Other than the rude people at the ticket booth, who where talking about my partner and I after having shut the window in our face, everything else including all the exhibits were beyond amazing. The amazing variety of jelly fish of all sizes are what really stung me. (Pun Intended).

As someone who likes anemones as much if not more than fish, this aquarium had an impressive variety of both. Well worth the price of admission unlike the disappointment that was procured by the Seattle Aquarium.

Great experience watching the diversity of life underwater. On a weekend, if you are going in late, you would better go directly to the Pike Parking structure to park your vehicle instead of the main aquarium parking lot which will most likely be full.

I don't give 5 stars out very often, this place was great. It was very affordable, all of the staff was very knowledgeable and very polite, and the exhibits were all wonderful. We also did the 3 hour whale watching your which was neat, but I think better for teenagers rather than 10 year olds.

Great place for a date.
Took my wife here and we loved it! You'll need about 4 hours to truly see everything. There's plenty of exhibits, and more outside.

We had a great day. The exhibits were good. The place was crowded, but not that bad. The food was good and well priced. can't wait to see the front construction finished. It will be stunning.

I absolutely loved visiting the aquarium. There were so many exhibits and huge tanks of wonderful fish and other creatures. It was an amazing memory and one I don't think I'll ever forget. That's the kind of place this is: memorable, in a way that stays with you indelibly.

I've been coming here since I was a kid. They have revamped it in some areas making it more relevant to today's needs and it was super fun and interactive and my 4yo loved looking at all the fishies!

We take our grandchildren to the Aquarium at least 3x/year, and they always love it. Everything focuses on education and preservation of the environment and especially its marine inhabitants - but all in a fun way that is fascinating. Plus they have wonderful lectures and events. Get a season pass -it is well worth it and supports a great cause.

The staff here needs to be complimented on their excellent attitude toward customer satisfaction. There is an unsung hero in your ranks who saved our day from tragedy. Thank you for allowing us to have that day.

The fishies and jellyfish are amazing! But visibility isnt that great cause people tend to hog up the visual. Food is overpriced. And the two ladies at the photo stand were very rude. I bought a name page and the lady just basically threw it at me and when i asked for a bag she walked away and never came back. Stood there waiting for about 5 minutes until the other girl asked what i wanted i said just a bag and she responded "you couldve just said that" ... yeah i did... they made it a little annoying

Had a wonderful time at the aquarium today. Went with the Mrs, grandma, our newborn and her one year old cousin. Everyone had a good time. Only reason for 4 stars is because, and it's due to Covid I'm sure, but every inside exhibit/attraction was closed off. Cut the experience way shorter than normal and feel like we missed a good few things. Otherwise, a fun way to spend half of a day. Just don't expect more than 3 ish hours depending on ages and party size. Tickets were $17 each for 3 people, three adults and the children are free under 3 years old. Parking is $8 with validation. Hope my review helps!

Amazing place to come and check out the many different fishes they have. From big to small. They have them all. I am so glad we brought the kids here not only was it a fun experience but they also learned a thing or two about those fishes.

Lovely displays knowledgeable staffers. It was clean and pleasant. A little pricey, especially work a few exhibits down.
Really missed seeing the California octopus.
All in all a nice way to spend 4+hours.

Very nice aquarium to visit, lots of levels and activities, definitely a place to bring the kids! Plenty of fish, shark, and jelly fish species to see! Lots of walking indoors and outdoors so bring hats and sunglasses! A+

Pretty awesome. We loved the experience of the touch pools but ... So did about 8,000 school kids who were on field trip. I'd suggest limiting the number of schools that can book trips, or just close the aquarium for a day and let the kids run wild.

This may be more about the school kids, and I say this with empathy as a mother and as a past school-age educator, but those kids had ZERO control. Quiet areas were like Chuck e cheese playgrounds, they were banging on the glass everywhere, and had no awareness of the people (or animals) around them.

The facility itself was really well thought out and the exhibits were all clean and attractive. Some enclosures seemed small (especially the sea lions / seals area). Food was way expensive for what you were getting. And in general I dislike paying extra for things (pay to feed the lorikeets, for example. $4 for a teeny cup of nectar).

We were prepared to spend the whole day there but were finished after about 3 hours. Mostly because of the field trip kids. Seriously, no joke, there were at least 15 different classes of elementary kids there at the same time. It was super overwhelming.

The Aquarium of the Pacific is wonderful. They offer tons of interactive components for the kiddos and some great sea life to enjoy. Personally, my favorite part of the aquarium is at the far back, almost forgotten. There is a model/3D map of the Los Angeles basin and it shows L.A.'s watershed. It's great.

This place is alright. For the price, its not worth it. Better off going to knotts. This is more for kids between the ages of 3 and maybe 6. Kids are in awe of the attractions at that age.

Ooh, neat place. All sorts of cool things like poison dart frogs and sea dragons and octopus. Sea lions fun to watch and penguins. The large tank with sharks, rays, turtles and all sorts of tropical fish is captivating. We scuba dive so kind of wished we could be in the tank. Good for kids.
