Wonderful large aquarium, with plenty of petting tanks, and activities. Paid street parking available, wheelchair accessible, and many restaurants in the area.
What a great experience! Tons of interesting displays, some of which are interactive. We had a blast here, great way to spend an afternoon.
Great family experience. A lot of different species
I liked it. In a great location right by the water and great restaurants. Was there to spend time before my late flight out. Enjoyed it...however there didnt seem to be good directions to the exhibits , true there was a map of the layout, More
Meh. Tiny and basic. Pretty standard fare. Don t forget there s an outdoor portion out the back. The second star was for their excellent customer service but the exhibits don t justify the price.
Wad great they're remodeling the place. Love the plan for the news look too and it's has newly stuff since the last time I was there.. Oohh the cafe has beer too Craft beer one Company from SD #KarlsStrauss #RedTrolley #TOWER10IPA not bad way tho go Aquarium of the Pacific...
This place was awesome. Great experience for all ages.
Their new frog exhibit is now up and running! The kids were fascinated with them! They're working on a huge add-on too, we can't wait to see the finished product. For a family of 4 would cost about $100 for just one trip is we decided to get a family year pass for only $120! So worth it, now we can go all year for only $20 more.
Love this place i was part of a I'm not a field trip at my little girl school from Anaheim. I would highly recommend. You spend some time with your family friends. And look at what they got. Love it.
What a let down! First time going since the expansion..they shouldve expanded a little less and added sea life to that area..not just lights and pictures.
Is really good for kids to enjoy and learning experience
It was amazing!! If you are visiting nearby this place it's definitely a must!
Why is there a Bubba Gump literally right across from the main entrance
one of the best aquariums in the world, had an awesome experience here, not as good as monterey bay though
Nice little place to take the younger ones and see the animals.
I found it small.... Many small windows to see small fishes...
Amazed at all of the science on display. They do a great job explaining all of the exhibits. The touch tanks are fun for everyone. Never thought about touching a shark before! Good outdoor shows, plenty of refreshments, expansive gift shop, altogether a fun excursion.
Lots of species of aquatic life here. Definitely visit if you get a chance!
It's a good place for children to see animals live in the sea. At there, some of them can be touch. It's quite funny for the kids.
We love this place so much good place for kids and family fun
Even during Covid they had all outside entertainment available and we were busy for 2 hours. Amazing :)
By far my favorite aquarium. A must see on every visit to California.
slick and clean aquatic adventure. pleasant, fun and even with a crowd it was easy to get around.
So much fun! A little crowded on the weekends but still fun!
Kids had a Wonderful time! Take your time and enjoy...
Starting to get more exhibits and more animals on display. Pretty pricey for what they have though.
This is my happy place! Every time I walk in I feel calm and content!
Amazing and beautiful ocean life. Grandkids had a blast, a lot of, oohs, and ahhs.
Good place to take kids but kind of crowded when we went. I love nonprofit organizations and this is one of them so that is also a major plus.
We were headed on a cruise and had a few hours to kill before boarding so we decided to check it out. The variety of animal was excellent and you saw things you didn't normally see in other aquariums.
Love this place .just perfect for our weekends and the year past is a big help
Just a little bit smaller than I remember I expected to see more exhibits
Pet sharks, Rays, starfish etc. Fun with kids however fairly expensive. Use your triple AAA for discounts
Good outing for the chlidren during summer break. I learned something new every time I'm here.
I love this aquarium! The staff really emphasizes education and conservation. It is a little on the pricier end to go if you don't get a membership, but because it's a non-profit, all that money goes right back to helping the animals.
The Volunteers were Nice, but the Aquarium is Horribly Expensive for what they offer. Better and cheaper aquarium at Monterey.
It was very crowded on the weekend, but the exhibits are amazing
The area is a great place to visit. I bought the aquarium combo with whale watching tour. Was a great value imo. Theres a lot of other things to visit there that can be combined with the aquarium. If you get the queen Mary, know that you have to shuttle there and they come every 15 mins by the aquarium.
We had a fabulous time here! It s especially designed very well for families with little kids. We had so much fun and our four y/o got to learn and experience so much. Highly recommend.
Construction was being done on the building's exterior, which is a good thing, but not when you have to walk through dust to enter the building. But this is a great place to take children.
Amazing place to spend with anyone, favorite part was getting to go inside of the bird cage and feed the birds
Nice place to go out especially with the kids, they are going to love it. There is Sea lion feeding show at different timings. Also, there is a learning lab where we can experience to touch and feel the different fishes. Restaurant inside as well and the staffs were quite polite and friendly as well. A great place to enjoy with family and friends.
Had an awesome time with my girlfriend and can't wait to come back
This aquarium was beautiful. They staff was very friendly and their were many exhibits
Awesome. Super considerate and understanding of parents and their kids. Encourage learning of all kinds. Wonderful.
Outdoor exhibits open, 2hrs stay is kind for drivers
Took my girlfriend here for a birthday date and had a blast she had never been before and loved it. Just wish we knew about the shows before hand and weren't able to see any.
Amazing !!! So much fun :) staff is very welcoming & fun !!
This was a fun adventure. The parking lot is nuts give your self extra time but it is a must see!!
Reasonably priced. Highly recommend going to the free aviary. The birds are beautiful. If you can dish out $4 you can get a cup of nectar and feed them. The only thing I could warn about is the enormous collective of strollers. If your children can walk I'd reccomend that. Theyll be constantly in and out of their seats and it's not too long where they'd get very tired walking like Disneyland. Other than that, I loved it: )
The best aquarium I have ever been too. The kids had a great time and learned alot.
One of the better aquariums I've been to. They have several amazing tanks and do a great job exhibiting the sea creatures in California and Baja California especially.
Love this aquarium, highly recommended for everyone!
My wife and I took our 12 year old granddaughter and 14 year old cousin for our first trip to the aquarium. We were very impressed with both the exhibits and the docents. They were friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to answer our questions. My favorite part of the visit was petting the sharks! We particularly enjoyed interacting with the divers.
The only suggestion we would make would be better signage and directions to the different shows.
Overall, an A!
We loved it! My family and I had a ball! The jellyfish were our favorite we wanted to keep touching them.
Is was beautiful. They had the Hawaiian Dancer's. Great knowledge and information on all the attractions.
Could have been a highlite but was only so so..Maybe when there are not a million people and the new upgrades are done...
We had fun it was very busy with lots of people. I had to ask a few adults if they can step aside so my grandson could see some of the fish. The food and drinks was way over priced! With that being said we enjoyed ourselves.
Beautiful aquarium! Many good exhibits. Both fun and educational. Lots of sea animals. It's a good place for a family trip.
Definitely worth the visit! Touch tanks were awesome. My son still talks about touching the jellyfish.
Exhibits weren't all that great, but the presentations were very entertaining and done well.
My 2 and 4 YO love it here. I can entertain them all day long. They enjoy the interactive sections where you can touch the marine life. Plus, walking around through the different sections makes them feel like they are actually traveling to all the continents. The layout of this aquarium is well executed.
I liked that they had alot of areas where the visitors could touch certain animals
Amazing place! Pet the jelly fish, rays, sharks, etc.
Very clean and well staffed.
Good tourist attraction. Could stand for the price of entry to be more affordable.
Very nice walking surface, awesome view of the LB harbor, plus you're right there at the Aquarium of the Pacific
If your kids liked movies like 'Finding Nimo,' this is the place you take your kids to learn and the curiosity and interest in ocean lives.
I love taking my 17 month old here and we have annual passes because we go so often. The best time to go if you can is on weekdays after 1pm when all the field trips have left. Sometimes it feels like we have the whole place to ourselves. Feeding the Lorikeets is one of my sons favorite parts.
