A great educational facility with a wide variety of excellent specimens and knowledgeable staff. Always a hit with the kids it can be very crowded and loud but it always comes from youthful fascination and enthusiasm. The members events are a nice plus and the special activities including overnight stays and adult proms are enticing benefits.

Lots of great fish tanks and ingormation. Parking is close. Make sute and get your parking validated to save a few bucks. That pic beliw is a picture of a sea dragon. They have so many different species of plants and animals. You can touch the sting rays, feed the lorikeets. They have food and alcohol available. Halg is indoors and half is outdoors. It's still worth a visit on a rainy day. There is so much to see that a trip back or yearly pass wont be a waste of money. Great for kids. Plenty of places for great selfies and great pictures that will be perfect for the scrapbook.

Still under construction can't wait to c the newness!
It's really the people that ruin the place. People encourage their kids to move people out of their way to look at something that they could of been polite about.
Id hope when construction is done they work on adding some more seating throughout the entire place not just the "restaurants". Sure the ac u barely can feel is nice but then u go outside the only way to cool off is the kids area & if ur an adult with no kid can make u look very weird!

A fun place to go with friends and family. It's small but has lots to touch! Lol and the animals are amazing. The staff are friendly and knowledgable. Lots of places for cute selfies!

Check their social media for coupons and special prizes for finding things. June 2018 has a coupon for $20 entry and prizes for finding Bob the Diver, competing the embossing book, and finding a certain button on Saturdays.

Pay for parking when you buy your tickets! Then you don't have to wait at the machine. It's $8 for all day with validation from the aquarium.

It is a very small aquarium compared to others I have been to. The fish collections are kind of limited. The place is kept cleaned. Many staffs are on duty. Not many animal shows. You can see the whole place in less than 2 hours.

The Parking: Long line to get into the parking structure. Short walk to the aquarium.

Me and my infant son went to enjoy the day with the fishes and sea life at the aquarium. We both found the tanks awesome and exciting. The displays and attractions were educational and playful. I think my son found everything colorful and new and he had a great time. I know I did with him!

It's a good place to bring the kids. There are many
School field trips here during the weekday so it is going to be a bit crowded. I thought there would be much more to see but for the kids it was enough to keep them entertained for a couple of hours. FYI Parking is $8 in the aquarium garage.

We went with grandchildren, watching them was priceless. This is a great place to go to. They have lots of room for people with walkers, wheelchairs and strollers. Elevators to help get around. Staff is very educated about the site and friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

Lots of sea life to see and learn about. My kids 10, 5 and 3 loved it. We had lots of fun walking around and playing in the boat area for kids. A must see and experience with your family.

The aquarium was a good educational place to visit. You learn so much about the different sea animal and overall about taking care our planet. I gave it 4 stars just because it seemed like it was way too many kids from different schools there. Too crowded and very loud. For the price you should be able to take your time and experience everything.

A little on the boring side, you can go through it in an hour maybe an hour and a half. Packed with school buses filled with kids so be prepared for a lot of noise. Upside the staff is knowledgeable and helpful and pleasant

A beautiful aquarium that is focused on education of its visitors. They are currently going through a remodel for a more innovative learning experience. This is great for kids and adults that enjoy sea life. They also have adults only events after hours on some Fridays and Saturdays and holidays. Membership is definitely worth it if yo u go more than a few times a year!

Adventurous, educational and engaging place for all ages. Varied opportunities to pet underground ocean animals. Aquarian features children stayovers and adult-only evening events. Especially enjoyed the penguin above and below ground swim area.

It was my very first time visiting the aquarium, and it was well worth the drive from the San Fernando Valley/ It took almost and hour to get there, so be prepared people. The staff were so helpful and kind. The entity was very clean, well organized, and full of exotic animals. I kinda missed the shark lagoon, but will check it out next time. Do check it out:)

Rarely do I get a chance to visit the Aquarium, but it is always a treat to go there. They always concentrate on educating the people about ocean life and how pollution and climate change is impacting the ocean. The large aquarium tanks where they replicate certain environments in the ocean is always breathtaking. Though it was a bit crowded, and parking was a little hard to find, it did not take away from the experience of going there.

Our family loves supporting our wild life. We especially love marine life. It was nice to be able to spend some time out there, Even with the current pandemic situation. Staff were very helpful and diligent on covid precautions. It was very clean and hand sanitizer and handwashing stations were available. Only thing is we can't wait to be able to go inside and enjoy the full experience

A great aquarium to visit. My family went shortly after opening time and the area was not crowded at all. Some of the employees in the beginning were not the greatest information or first impressions, they didn't even tell even try to hand us the little brochure or explain that there are 'imprint' stations throughout the aquarium where you could get the corner pages imprinted with that local animal symbol, and the guy at the podium with the brochures looked like he got bothered when I took one them from his nicely filled stacks. There were several areas setup around the aquarium where the employees were doing exhibits and stuff but no one offered to show or explain any of it unless we walked up to them to ask them what they were standing there for... But after that first impressions area the overall experience was great, the manta ray and shark touch pools were very fun to experience. The lorikeet aviary was a fun area to walk through, the birds love to land on anyone that is there, especially is you buy one of the expensive tiny little cups of the drink mix for the birds, but the entrance fee for the aquarium was very reasonable to compensate. The different trainers and staff in the tanks and exhibits were great at their jobs and very informative and interactive with the audience. Once the school/camp groups showed up those little hallways were extremely crowded, the supervisors for the kids were greatly outnumbered and in no way in control of the kids and my family felt like it was time to leave by then.

Great place to come and have a fun day. Fun for everyone, great aquariums and sea life. Very informative and love the hands on experience with touching sharks, rays and starfish. For those who are members they have discounts on the cruises right next door that you must take advantage of. I come here at least once every other month.

I love coming here! The exhibits are great for both adults and children. Information is provided to every exhibit, they have a section outside which is a nice change of environment.

The only problem I had, was that they have grown in popularity and it gets overly crowded everywhere. Definitely not enough space for adults to enjoy the exhibit, if they are coming to learn and take their time. This is unfortunate especially on the weekends as it is hard to move through literally squeezing though families and strollers to move to the next exhibit. I'd advise adults without children to arrive extra early or attend during the weekdays as the walk ways are LITERALLY flooded with families.

If you have kids however, this is a great place to take them!! Bring comfortable shoes for yourself and the little ones, try to keep them with you. It's easy to lose a child with all the chaos.
