I love how well taken care of the sea life is inside there they look well fed and healthy but I just wish they would help the ocean outside be cleaner I hated to see the beach so full of trash

This was a very unorganized aquarium, when you walk in there is no natural flow. For $20+/person, it was very pricey for what we got to see. The one cool thing was the shark lagoon and the glass window into the animal hospital.

The facility was over crowded when we were there too. We like going to aquariums, but This is not a place we will come back to anytime soon.

I'd recommend this over the Monterey Aquarium any day of the week now that I can say that I've walked through both of them and lived to tell the review.

First off this is in the LBC, 213, Long Beach and the feel of someone pretentious somehow getting in the way of your day and the fish you hope to see is non existent and the way is should be for anyone who is about to look at some fish.

The montery Bay aquarium is anything but and will bring that sense of someone douchy about to pop out of any corner the moment you see the sleek, black over white grey concrete logo that screams 'you suck!'.

I never felt for one second that I sucked at LBC doing my fish watching.

Good prices, good fish and good times!

So fun and beautiful. I suggest going during the week because you dont have to compete to see the exhibits. The staff was very nice if they didnt have an answer to a question they found someone who did.

This is the go to aquarium in socal. Their layout is very well thought out and interactive. The touch pools are always fun for the kids. I'm looking forward to the extension they are constructing at this time. The parking is also only $8 with validation. After viewing the aquarium, you can walk the Long Beach docks to the lighthouse and see Queen Mary across the harbor. You can also take a ride on the rental electric scooters or bikes.

Well kept and very clean! Small aquarium but well worth it! Friendly and very knowledgeable staff! Animals seem to be well taken care of and the employees seem passionate about the animals.

It's clean, the tanks are clear, and the creatures seem well taken care of. The staff seem to love them. There's an outdoor area at ground level, and another at roof level. There are two stories indoors. There's plenty of variety to keep you entertained. There is also a room where you can occasionally hear "Nemo!" and "Dory!" It's really cute. Come see for yourself!

The Aquarium of the Pacific is most definitely a fun place to visit. In our current chapter of life its a fun place to visit with our two little ones. They have a nice time and there are plenty of halls and exhibits to visit to keep everyone entertained for a few hours.

This is one of my favorite places to visit with my kids. The exhibits are always to notch and we always learn something new with the exhibits that change from time to time.

I love the love the different exhibits that show various ecologies and also the lesson that we need to be active in preserving the ocean and all it's diversity.

Best aquarium in socal Of course the animals are the highlight but what really stood out was the amount of young middle school age volunteers, working the exhibits like pros. Inspiring to see 13 year old kids with such a passion for science

It's a beautiful aquarium with so many fascinating exhibits and precious animals. It is well maintained and the new Pacific Visions exhibit is innovative and awesome. We had the best time with our family. My mom has a grandparent membership.

This aquarium is very pacific in its focus. Pacifically the animals and types of plankton. You otter see the Sea Otters who can see you seeing them in their own little sea.
It s also nice to touch sharks and jelly fish. Be aware though, there are No Peanut Butterfish! So don t expect to sandwich this experience in between others.
There are nice and cute children s experiences. There s a big tank which has divers who go fishing for compliments from children while swimming in shark infested waters. There are fishes bigger than the divers, but the sharks are not. I think it would be easier to get kids to bite into the education portion if there was less Jawsing and more Jaws.

The staff also ride on the whale watching boats to give expert guidance on unique and also common dolphins. On my trip we drove around looking for bigger whales, let me tell you, that would have been killer. Whales are neat!

Boy, do I love aquariums! This place is great; I could spend the entire day here whenever I go! You'll enjoy the petting aquariums where you can touch sting rays, star fish, and other types of creatures. The jelly fish are totally cool! Take the kids out and spend some time learning about fish! Plus, you could always, "try to find Nemo!"
