Nice and cute animals over here great for LA visit.
It was meh. Went there 14 years ago and loved it but was way to crowded
The kids always have fun here amazed by the sea life
I love how well taken care of the sea life is inside there they look well fed and healthy but I just wish they would help the ocean outside be cleaner I hated to see the beach so full of trash
Amazing place, I loved seeing a lot of diversity of animaled sailors.
This was a very unorganized aquarium, when you walk in there is no natural flow. For $20+/person, it was very pricey for what we got to see. The one cool thing was the shark lagoon and the glass window into the animal hospital.
The facility was over crowded when we were there too. We like going to aquariums, but This is not a place we will come back to anytime soon.
Great place to see sea otters, whales and jelly fish. We enjoyed being able to touch some of them - safely!
I'd recommend this over the Monterey Aquarium any day of the week now that I can say that I've walked through both of them and lived to tell the review.
First off this is in the LBC, 213, Long Beach and the feel of someone pretentious somehow getting in the way of your day and the fish you hope to see is non existent and the way is should be for anyone who is about to look at some fish.
The montery Bay aquarium is anything but and will bring that sense of someone douchy about to pop out of any corner the moment you see the sleek, black over white grey concrete logo that screams 'you suck!'.
I never felt for one second that I sucked at LBC doing my fish watching.
Good prices, good fish and good times!
Fun place - definitely worth the admission - try not to go on weekends unless you love crowds - but that tells you how great the AOP is... will go again soon
I loved this place when i lived in southern California. The behind the scenes tour was really fun.
Extremely crowded, oversell tickets and every 'attraction' was closed, won't be back
It was great for the money you pay. Not a lot of crazy momments, but it's fun to take kids to get them interested.
Great place, mostly indoors so it's not too hot or cold, some outdoors areas, very friendly informative workers, not too expensive
Great displays and living environments to experience. Very educational and enjoyable!
My grandbabies had a great time. Sanitation is A+ during these crazy times .
It is a fun place to visit. Ne sure to expect crowds. Getting to touch all the sting rays, urchins and jellyfish was really cool and awesome! I loved it!
Great Aquarium.. lots to do and see. Excellent hands on exhibitions
Its always a blast! Wish the EV chargers in the parking lot worked though but still the little bird cage was a fun experience definitely recommend if you have little ones!!!
If you want to take your family to a fun and educational place I suggest here at the Aquarium of the Pacific where everyone gets to learn new and cool things
So fun and beautiful. I suggest going during the week because you dont have to compete to see the exhibits. The staff was very nice if they didnt have an answer to a question they found someone who did.
Great customer service, convenient, your parking can be validated when leaving.
Good place to take kids or for a date. I enjoyed all the interactive activities too. It's a little small, but very well kept and I think the shows are pretty adorable.
Cutest animals. Can touch some animals with the help of staff members. Information available everywhere for each species in the aquarium. Cutie patooties (:
This is the go to aquarium in socal. Their layout is very well thought out and interactive. The touch pools are always fun for the kids. I'm looking forward to the extension they are constructing at this time. The parking is also only $8 with validation. After viewing the aquarium, you can walk the Long Beach docks to the lighthouse and see Queen Mary across the harbor. You can also take a ride on the rental electric scooters or bikes.
Soo much to sea and learn. The volunteers that explain what we are looking at are VERY knowledgeable and friendly.
Lots sea creatures! Fun with kids. Takes about 2hours to see 1st and 2nd floor. Good enough to spend time with kids. Many restaurant around the place and a shopping mall.
I love the Aquarium i had so much fun with my grandchildren s!!! Thank you
Definitely a place you want to take your family and kids my son had fun with the sea otters and sea lions and little sea horses.
Don't miss this! Wonderful! Jellyfish "petting" pool is amazing. A fabulous place for fun education.
Loved it, if you enjoy aquariums and ocean life you will love this place.
Small aquarium, gets crowded quickly. Recomend weekdays instead of weekends.
Well kept and very clean! Small aquarium but well worth it! Friendly and very knowledgeable staff! Animals seem to be well taken care of and the employees seem passionate about the animals.
Little pricey, but great place for young and old. Lots of touching pools for curious children.
It's clean, the tanks are clear, and the creatures seem well taken care of. The staff seem to love them. There's an outdoor area at ground level, and another at roof level. There are two stories indoors. There's plenty of variety to keep you entertained. There is also a room where you can occasionally hear "Nemo!" and "Dory!" It's really cute. Come see for yourself!
Great place for everyone. Takes about 2-3 hours to explore. New exhibit is okay.
I loved every part of it, it too me a couple of hours to see it all. So much too look at.
Excellent collection of marine life!! The seals and the sharks were awesome.
Great time...just too many people and the food was the WORST! LOVED the exhibits.
Very beautiful relaxing spot this place have a lot of things to do 1) Aquarium, 2) Pike outlet, 3) Restaurants 4) Bars, 5) Whale watching cruises, 6) Walking , 7) Biking, 8) Relaxing, 9) Kids play Area, and a lot more. And it is near Qween Mary Ship if you are planning to visit.
It gets very crowded on the weekends. So crowded, that navigating the whole area is almost impossible with a stroller.
It's a super fun place to take your kids. My 2 year old is in a baby shark phase so imagine his surprise when he got to see little sharks up close!
The Aquarium of the Pacific is most definitely a fun place to visit. In our current chapter of life its a fun place to visit with our two little ones. They have a nice time and there are plenty of halls and exhibits to visit to keep everyone entertained for a few hours.
We drive over once a year from Palm Springs to visit this fabulous facility, be sure and take the kids.
Fun place to visit! Cannot wait for the additional exhibits to be available!
Love this place. Me and my daughter had a blast! I don't know why I haven't been sooner
This is one of my favorite places to visit with my kids. The exhibits are always to notch and we always learn something new with the exhibits that change from time to time.
I love the love the different exhibits that show various ecologies and also the lesson that we need to be active in preserving the ocean and all it's diversity.
Great place my 3 yearold grandson had a blast! And I highly advise you Grands to get the Grandparent's pass.
Best aquarium in socal Of course the animals are the highlight but what really stood out was the amount of young middle school age volunteers, working the exhibits like pros. Inspiring to see 13 year old kids with such a passion for science
Nice place, amazing exhibitions. Loved the touch pools. Very crowded.
A great place for families and kids. If you want to discover what lives underwater this is the right place to be! The frog exhibition was really fascinating...
I expected so much more from this place. It was a waist of time and money. You will have a better time walking around a petsmart and you'll see more too.
Clean and kept my 16 month old happy for the better part of a whole day! Can't wait to go back!!
Cool place for the little ones but not overly big. I've been to much bigger aquariums but I would still recommend a visit.
It's a beautiful aquarium with so many fascinating exhibits and precious animals. It is well maintained and the new Pacific Visions exhibit is innovative and awesome. We had the best time with our family. My mom has a grandparent membership.
My kids had a great time they're able to interact and be themselves it's an awesome place
I am from northern CA..this place is better than Monterey Bay Aquarium in my opinion.
This aquarium is very pacific in its focus. Pacifically the animals and types of plankton. You otter see the Sea Otters who can see you seeing them in their own little sea.
It s also nice to touch sharks and jelly fish. Be aware though, there are No Peanut Butterfish! So don t expect to sandwich this experience in between others.
There are nice and cute children s experiences. There s a big tank which has divers who go fishing for compliments from children while swimming in shark infested waters. There are fishes bigger than the divers, but the sharks are not. I think it would be easier to get kids to bite into the education portion if there was less Jawsing and more Jaws.
The staff also ride on the whale watching boats to give expert guidance on unique and also common dolphins. On my trip we drove around looking for bigger whales, let me tell you, that would have been killer. Whales are neat!
Awesome place to take the family little pricey but it's good
It was fun for the kids. Food is too expensive. 2 individual pizzas and 2 hot dogs and a soda. Guess the price... $95. To top that, it was not good.
Seems overpriced but I'm sure the overhead there is pretty crazy! Definitely a fun place to go every couple years or so if you love the ocean and it's amazing inhabitants!
Large variety of aquatic species but can be overcrowded. Also there are lots of fun little experiments
Boy, do I love aquariums! This place is great; I could spend the entire day here whenever I go! You'll enjoy the petting aquariums where you can touch sting rays, star fish, and other types of creatures. The jelly fish are totally cool! Take the kids out and spend some time learning about fish! Plus, you could always, "try to find Nemo!"
My kids favorite place!
Family membership highly recommended.
Pretty neat place. Not really interested in going back though.
