Nice and beautiful park. Well maintained. Sweet animals that can almost always be found somewhere.
I found the food on the pricey side. But I'm a big eater. Vegetarian offer is disappointing to almost nil.

Top.

Nice animal park. You walk in a circle so that you walk past all the different monkeys. Stepping through it works in 2 hours. We arrived late at 2:45 pm and was doing well. Seen many young monkeys.

The design of the park and the interaction with the animals keep it fun to visit again and again. If you live close enough, it is even nice to visit the park for a walk. The season ticket is so affordable that with a 2nd visit you have already taken out your season ticket.

Some smaller monkey species are roaming free in the parc, which is a great surprise. Animals are well maintained and seem to have their own time and place to rest.
The parc is big enough to spend a up to a morning or afternoon.

Nice, beautiful park with sufficient diversity of monkeys. Unfortunately, I didn't see any gorillas ... I think they were on vacation. Downside is that everything is on the fairly expensive side for what you get. Entrance, parking but especially the food. The free photos in the photo booths, on the other hand, are a plus. Furthermore, still had an enjoyable day.

it remains a very nice park, especially for the children but also adults can have a lot of fun here both with their own monkeys and those of the park. quite an old park but still they do their best to maintain it well, toilets reasonable and the price quality I find something on the high side, but it is one of the parks in the Netherlands that you must see.

The name of the park ApenHeul in Dutch means Safe Haven for Monkeys . This is literally true at the park as they roam around freely amontst visitors. There are no cages. They come up close and are friendly. You are however warned not to touch them nor feed them. You are also advised than monkeys will snatch your sandwiches in no time if you are not careful. We were further told that food we consume is poisonous to the monkeys and make them sick. Monkey proof bag, which cannot easily be opened by monkeys, was provided to us at the entrance. This of course was returned on exit. Food and snacks were available at a number of monkey free zones .
At times, we had to look hard at the branches to spot them. It was an interesting experience to discover them, playing on nearby branches. We stopped often enjoying the antics of these small friendly primates. They play all the time and are never in a hurry. I wish we could too!!
There is a separate sections for Gorillas. They too roam freely but on islands of their own. When you go into the park you do not have the feeling that you are at a zoo as you walk amongst them. The planning of the park is excellent to let the visitors enjoy the monkeys without them being caged as at many other zoos.

Very nice for a day out for young and old, also very good to do on very hot days through the wooded area and plenty of places to eat or drink something. There are many free-range areas for the monkeys, a truly unique experience throughout the entire park.
