Nice park with very enthusiastic staff. Parking rate of 8.80 is unusually high, but the Apenheul itself cannot help it.

Excellent up close views of the ape family and friends.
So nice to walk among the stray monkeys. Watch your bag! They look for food everywhere
En prima te doen in Corona-tijd. Goede maatregelen voor afstand houden en bestellen bij restaurants.
Nice park with excellent explanation during the feeding time of the animals
A nice zoo with a few other animals but of course mainly monkeys. Many stray animals do not allow dogs to take with them. Most animals are very curious. A nice day out for young and old
Nice and beautiful park. Well maintained. Sweet animals that can almost always be found somewhere.
I found the food on the pricey side. But I'm a big eater. Vegetarian offer is disappointing to almost nil.
Super fun for children. Very beautiful and natural park! And great to have the monkeys on your arm.
Monkeys just come to you, just like in the cities, they don't steal your phone
It was super nice given many monkeys wide corridors
Remains fun, watching apies. The squirrel monkeys walk around freely and sit on your bag, head or shoulder
Zeer leuk, vooral de slinger aapjes.
Mo et wel droog zijn, anders zitten de apenheul binnen.
1 time in 25 years is enough you are worn out I have 3 days for pampus.
Super fun for my grandson and then grandpa also enjoys
Cozy animal park. Prices of food and drink are also included. Buy an Apenheul card in advance and you will receive extra credits for food and drinks.
Had a nice day and while feeding the monkeys, nice explanation.
Nice animal park. You walk in a circle so that you walk past all the different monkeys. Stepping through it works in 2 hours. We arrived late at 2:45 pm and was doing well. Seen many young monkeys.
Very nice to visit and the monkeys walk here and there
A lot to see
Nice day out. For both the smallest and the largest monkey in the family. Day of family visit. Feast of recognition and new discoveries
Always fun. Especially squirrel monkeys that come close.
Erg leuk, het was slecht weer toen we er waren maar het is een prachtig park met een grote diversiteit aan apen. Leuk dagje uit!
Nice weather to be at Apenheul with children and grandchildren.
The park is just awesome the picture speaks for itself, the entry is worth it and not a dime too much ...
Delicious watch and eat pizza on the terrace. Fun for children, interactive with
In addition to the Apenhul you have a forest, playground and pond where you can easily enjoy a whole day
The design of the park and the interaction with the animals keep it fun to visit again and again. If you live close enough, it is even nice to visit the park for a walk. The season ticket is so affordable that with a 2nd visit you have already taken out your season ticket.
Remains fun to watch the monkeys and tell the males something new every time.
It was great, Lot's of nature and free walking monkey's!
Some smaller monkey species are roaming free in the parc, which is a great surprise. Animals are well maintained and seem to have their own time and place to rest.
The parc is big enough to spend a up to a morning or afternoon.
This park is officially corona-proofed. In practice, people walk way too close together in many places.
You can't really walk with the monkeys anywhere.
Not able to fully enjoy ....
Nice, but you can get through it pretty quickly. 3-4 hours
Nice, beautiful park with sufficient diversity of monkeys. Unfortunately, I didn't see any gorillas ... I think they were on vacation. Downside is that everything is on the fairly expensive side for what you get. Entrance, parking but especially the food. The free photos in the photo booths, on the other hand, are a plus. Furthermore, still had an enjoyable day.
Nice zoo. Lots of loose monkeys that really come to you. Informative feed shows with lots of information. Good food. Only a bit expensive.
Awesome zoo with monkeys walking free. Keep your zippers closed and your snacks hidden or you will be robbed by a monkey.
Definitely go here for a unique day out.
it remains a very nice park, especially for the children but also adults can have a lot of fun here both with their own monkeys and those of the park. quite an old park but still they do their best to maintain it well, toilets reasonable and the price quality I find something on the high side, but it is one of the parks in the Netherlands that you must see.
Great park ...
Many lemurs.
Nice monkeys, food is not too expensive and good public transport connection.
It is no longer as it was years ago when many monkeys were free. There are now far fewer monkeys roaming free and that is better.
It remains special all those different monkeys. Very nice park and nice to walk.
Great park. With discount also good to do.
Very shame about the smoking spots next to the playground and merry-go-round ...
Leuk park voor een dagje uit De shows zijn interessant en worden op een leuke manier gepresenteerd.
Nice park for children and adults, lots of info and fun. Had a fantastic day.
Also a nice Zoo with many different monkeys. And the feeding time is very nice to attend
Fun, green and educational animal park where the animals have complete freedom. What is also striking is that it is very clean.
The name of the park ApenHeul in Dutch means Safe Haven for Monkeys . This is literally true at the park as they roam around freely amontst visitors. There are no cages. They come up close and are friendly. You are however warned not to touch them nor feed them. You are also advised than monkeys will snatch your sandwiches in no time if you are not careful. We were further told that food we consume is poisonous to the monkeys and make them sick. Monkey proof bag, which cannot easily be opened by monkeys, was provided to us at the entrance. This of course was returned on exit. Food and snacks were available at a number of monkey free zones .
At times, we had to look hard at the branches to spot them. It was an interesting experience to discover them, playing on nearby branches. We stopped often enjoying the antics of these small friendly primates. They play all the time and are never in a hurry. I wish we could too!!
There is a separate sections for Gorillas. They too roam freely but on islands of their own. When you go into the park you do not have the feeling that you are at a zoo as you walk amongst them. The planning of the park is excellent to let the visitors enjoy the monkeys without them being caged as at many other zoos.
A very nice zoo
Plus points are:
- Nice interaction with the monkeys especially the small skull monkeys were appreciated by our little girl of 1.5
- Friendly staff
- Neat and clean
Excellent experience for kids. Monkeys ranni g at tour feet
Nice place to entertain you for a few hours. Many different monkeys are walking free
A very nice day out with children between 10 and 15 years old. It would be nice if there was something decent on the menu in the restaurant.
Nice park, was very busy with Ascension weekend, but well that was to be expected. Nevertheless had a nice day. Nicely kept park.
It was a lot of fun, there were many kinds of monkeys to see! Unfortunately we were not able to see everything because of the corona virus.
We have been in the summer holidays it was too busy so it was very disappointing no monkey in the neighborhood seen only in the trees very unfortunate
Very nice for a day out for young and old, also very good to do on very hot days through the wooded area and plenty of places to eat or drink something. There are many free-range areas for the monkeys, a truly unique experience throughout the entire park.
